What a sweet little story. Let’s Learn About the Forest tells the story of Mama Chipmunk and her quest to gather food for her family. Young readers (and listeners) help Mama locate various foods and animals in the forest.
On each page, children are prompted to find specified items, and are given fun facts about the different animals. Adults might even learn a thing or two!
The illustrations of the woodland animals in this board book are a-dor-a-ble! This board book is a keeper for Nana’s shelf!

I love a cute animal illustration and paired with sweet little story and tons of fun facts and seek and find elements, this book is so fun. It follows the day in the life of a chipmunk and all the animals that little guy encounters. I really liked it!
My thoughts: This is an adorable and beautifully illustrated board book for little ones. Its a storybook and a seek and find and an educational tool all at the same time. Perfect for day cares, church libraries, gifts, etc. Recommended. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own
Let's Learn About The Forest is a sweet seek-and-find story through God's creation for children. I love the illustrations and all the cute little animals. I also love how the story keeps pointing back to God, our creator. Each page has beautifully illustrated animals, Seek-and-Find pictures, and fun facts about the animals and God's creation. This is a perfect book for little ones. I read this book with my baby brother (he liked the bear illustrations). Overall, I think this is a perfect book for little kids (babies and toddlers), and I look forward to reading it more with my baby brother.

My Review:
Little ones love to know about the world around them. They are like little sponges that like to soak up everything. In Let's Learn about the Forest, there is a story being told but along the way the reader will learn fun facts about the different animals mentioned. And an added bonus is there will be a list of items to find on each page.
It is a delightful and fun learning board book. Perfect for little hands and minds--as it is short and sweet. The book is a board book but is just the right size for your little one to tote round. And I loved the illustrations, very cute and colorful.

There are a lot of things I really like about “Let’s Learn About the Forest!”
The pictures are very cute and colorful and introduce the reader to different animals that live in the forest. There are 4 things to find on each double page scene-they are not difficult to find-it would be perfect for a toddler!
Besides the search and find aspect, there is also a short story as well as two interesting facts for each scene (ie. Any seeds the chipmunks don’t eat grow into more plants and trees in the forest!)
When I requested to preview this book I didn’t notice it was a seek and find story through God’s creation; as a person who is not very religious I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the book. God is mentioned on most pages (mostly in the fun fact bubbles- ie. Bears need to eat a lot of food-so God gave h them noses that can smell food from miles away) but the book’s main focus is more the forest than religion. If you are not religious it wouldn’t change the book if you left out the word God. In the actual story the word God is only mentioned on the very last page.
Overall a book I would recommend regardless of your religious affiliation!

My daughter (4) and I loved this adorable book! Forest animals are some of our very favorites and this sweet little board book offers not only a cute story about a chipmunk family gathering food and discovering other forest animals, but also an interactive seek and find and fun little facts about each animal throughout the pages. It is easy to understand and the illustrations are just darling.
The seek and find feature is quite simple. At my daughter’s age, she breezed through finding the items listed but still enjoyed the little facts and story. There is also a tender, faith-based element that notates God’s design for some of the animals and mentions thanking God for the food that Mama and little Chipmunk are about to enjoy. In short, a wonderful book geared towards toddlers and preschool-age children that we definitely recommend!

I really liked this book. It follows a chipmunk and goes through looking at different animals. Every page has two facts to learn about that particular animal, and there are four things to find on every page. The illustrations are great and capture a young child's attention. This is definitely a good book that I would want the physical copy for so I could take it along with us on camping and hiking trips in the forest.

This is a religious book finding what God gave each of these creatures. My favorite part is the interactive bit where we seak elements of the illustration on the large spreads. The art spread is gorgeous and the book talks about 8 families of forest creatures. It keeps the same format from page 1 to the last so it ends abruptly not really a closing message or any other info. Each page has an interactive speaking game and just one or two simple facts about the animals.
I enjoyed sharing this book with my grandson and it captured his attention. The illustrations are a good combination of accurate and sweet. We appreciated the Can You Find and Fun Fact features. There are many interesting little details throughout the story both in the text and the illustrations. The board book is oversized making it easier for children to hold and for shared story time. A nice addition to our library and introduction to the forest and its animals.
Thank you to Netgalley and to the publishers for an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I thought this was such a cute picture book about the forest and the creatures who live there. I like how it is a seek and find. A great book for children who enjoy look and finds and who love the woods, nature, and animals. I love the illustration. I highly recommend this for any parent with kids.

T enjoyed this book! I liked all the fun facts and the I spy sections. The illustrations were vibrant and cute. This is a great book for kissbof all ages!
This is a pretty good book! It had facts on every page as well as the story. I would definitely recommend it for children kindergarten and younger. My preteen was a trooper, but wasn't really interested.
Oh my gracious! We loved this book so much. What a fun, sweet, creative way to introduce a little God's world. Thanks for sending a copy our way for review, Zondervan!
The illustrations are really cute. There are bite-size fun facts that help us all to learn a little more about our forest friends. We also love a good seek-and-find book.
