A picture book for kids ages 3 to 8 about feelings, friendship, and empathy. Pumpkin lost his feelings. Despite his stuck-on smile, he can't feel happy, sad, or anything at all. Follow him on his journey to find his feelings and meet a few friends along the way. This story encourages kids to learn and embrace feelings and emotions including the uncomfortable ones. It's better to feel sad, happy, scared, angry, or sad than to not feel anything at all.

Enjoyed reading this picture book. Loved the idea of story plot. The boy's pumpkin lost his feelings and went to look for them. All his journey shows that is much better to feel angry or sad than not to feel anything at all. Illustrations are just beautiful.
I was happy to see a book addressing children’s feelings. Yes, the pumpkin had an adventure. The storyline was engaging. The illustrations were bright and cheerful.
Pumpkin Finds His Feelings is a wonderful, educational, emotional, relatable, important, cute, and fun story! Cody and Pumpkin are best friends who love each other's company. When a breeze comes and blows out Pumpkin's candle, he realizes that he can no longer feel feelings. He cannot feel scared, happy, angry, or sad. Pumpkin feels nothing despite his permanent smile. Hoping to find his feelings again, Pumpkin goes on a quest. He meets scarecrow, cat, and turkey who all try to help him feel things again. Along the way Pumpkin helps his new friends accept challenging feelings, cope with unpleasant emotions, and try new things. Pumpkin heads home without any feelings. When he arrives home, he sees Cody outside crying. Suddenly, Pumpkin begins to feel empathy. He realizes that feeling any emotion is better than feeling nothing at all. He celebrates his sorrow as he runs home to Cody. His light has finally come back on! I loved this sweet SEL book!
