What a wonderful piece of work , this book was filled with lots of amazing characters and Edge is intense sexy fierce and bloody gorgeous , he’s a caged animal whom will do anything to protect the woman he loves even if it means hurting her , Rae is a strong willed sassy woman , whom has suffered the unthinkable , my heart broke so many times reading this and I wanted to scream at the author, this book was absolutely beautifully written and I’m sitting anxiously waiting for book 2 , if you’re looking for a action packed, guy wrenching love story this is the book for you , the twists and turns and lies will keep you on the edge of your seat a perfect 5* read for me

This is sort of a genre mashup. Contemporary romance, MC Club, and Sci-fi thrown into one book. It was an entertaining read, but I was left with a few questions at the end. Pete and RJ spend the entire book willing to risk their lives to protect Rae and with Pete, part of that was because his father and hers asked him to and the other part was because he was in love with her. With the twist at the end, I was kind of wondering how none of them knew except Mack. There's some time travel elements and once you learn the history of the RRMC, you kind of wonder why they weren't let in on the big secret until the end.

Aside from having a few questions with the twist (I've read Nikki Landis before and I'm pretty sure my questions will get answered in later books) It was an entertaining read and I enjoyed it. I like books that aren't strictly one genre

Let me start by saying that I absolutely adored this book. It was so different. So unexpected. So brilliantly done that I could not put it down. I'm a huge Nikki Landis fan and this book is just another one of hers that I fell in love with. The bikers were tough. Big and burly with beards and tattoos and yet, soft and tender. Rae was a delightful character. Smart and sassy and I just couldn't get enough of her and Pete's story. Of the way Pete (edge) was willing to risk everything to protect her. Their love was so raw and compelling that I kept turning page after page, unable to get enough.

The ending threw me through a loop and I cannot wait to read the next one in the series. I highly recommend this book and this author!

This was the first book I'd read by Nikki Landis. it definitely will not be the last. What an exciting read! Sins of the Father was action packed from the first page to the last.

The characters are well developed and nothing short of amazing. Rae is a determined, sassy, loveable young woman that has not had an easy life as of yet. Edge is a rough and tough biker who is willing to risk everything, including his own life, to protect Rae. This is in part because he was asked to by both her father and his, but mainly because he has been in live with her for the better part of his life. Luckily, Rae is in love with him too, there are just many, many obstacles for them. Including themselves. Their love is indescribable. It is extremely strong and compelling, but raw and painful too.

I couldn't help but stay up all night to finish Sins of the Father in one sitting. It was THAT good!! I can't recommend Nikki Landis work enough. If you like action packed, gut wrenching stories that keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next, you will love Sins of the Father.

This great book has some very great characters in it which some include the main characters Rae and Pete aka Peter aka Edge and as their stories start from when they were very young this one starts off when things start getting dangerous and Peter vows to protect Rae at all costs.
This is a book about two motorcycle gangs BUT don't let that stop you from reading this one because I'm here to tell you that lives are crazy and protection is real and I just hope that you give this one a chance because I know you won't regret it... You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll get mad but you are going to fall in love with these characters and this book too...
This was the first time I read from this author and I know I plan on reading more from her in the future...

Great Start to New Series

I loved this MC book with all the lies, betrayals, steam, drama, and second chance romance. When Edge comes out of prison after three years his whole world has changed and now, he seeks vengeance.

Edge had loved Rae since they were kids and wanted to protect her but nothing would go as thought. What an intense read that has drawn me in and now I’m waiting for more to come in this series.

I want to explain why I have rated this book so highly. Usually books like this are what I call surface suffers. They have wonderful characters, great plot lines, and amazing world building and yet they do the minimum to draw the reader in, they give just enough to tell the story but they do not go the extra mile to really connect you with the book...surface suffers.

THIS BOOK IS NOT ONE OF THOSE!

The characters in this book are amazing. From Pete "Edge" and Rae, and their obvious love for each other to RJ, the best friend who is never far from the two sweethearts. The characters all knit nicely together and what comes from it is a well crafted, beautifully scripted, and well-polished piece of work. I have always believed that with great characters a great story can be told and that is exactly what the author has done here. Flow is steady, it moves without drag, without falter, and it takes you on a ride that you will not only love, but you will be begging for more.

Pete's world is tough, and he makes no excuses for it or his part in it. Rae is an innocent girl caught unknowingly in a world of gangs, violence, and lust. As the story unfolds and things take a strange turn Pete has to make a decision, one that could save Rae but cost him dearly. I hate spoilers...so I won't go on, but this story pulls you in, gently holds you and when it has you in its grasp it grips you tight, squeezes and wrings you dry. This fantastic novel archives what many stories fall flat trying to do, it makes you feel.

Nikki Landis has done a fantastic job with this book, and I only wish she had the next in the series out already so that I could continue to feed my new addiction...MMRC and Sins of the Father.

Whenever Nikki's books are concerned, few genres always comes into the mind automatically - Fantasy, Paranormal, Supernatural, Romance, Thriller. I'm thinking now to create a new genre comprising all the above 5 and name them Nikki's Genre. She writes romance in the harshest scenario and that feels like a breath of fresh air. And she repeated the same thing again very beautifully.

This book from the first page to the last page is absolutely amazing. The book has all the moments all along and there is not a single moment that feels like you're getting bored. The plot of the book can be predicted by the title and it was beautifully designed and developed. There are multiple scenes in the book that made me chew my fingers.

The end of the book is quite unexpected and there are many puzzles now in my mind. But the whole book is a mix of fun, thrill and romantic read that I enjoyed my best. I would definitely like to recommend this new series to Paranormal-Supernatural-Romance genre readers.

I have to admit I was leery about reading an MC book since my dad and first husband were both members of actual MC clubs and there is nothing sexy about them. Not. A. Single. Thing. However, I love everything by Nikki Landis and knew she would make it hot and fun. Thankfully I was right. Most of the men were not like bikers at all. They were sweet. Loving. Genuine good-hearted men. There was even one in the ‘bad’ club who I wanted to see more of.

Rae and Peter have the sweetest story. I loved that is was so deep and started so young. They had their ups and downs. Beautiful moments and very hot moments. I totally fell in love with R.J. and can’t wait to read his story next. As Nikki always does, she took me on an emotion ride, gripping me until the end, and what an end. I NEVER saw that coming. Brilliant and beautiful as always. I eagerly await the next.

Highly recommended. You can’t go wrong with anything from this author. Every single book has been a home run for me.

Not Your Ordinary MC Story

Sins of the Father does a great job of leading you down a path you think you already know, only to throw in an extraordinary twist at the end. There are several hints along the way, yet the reveal is quite spectacular. This story follows several different viewpoints of the main characters, sometimes repeating a scene from a different perspective, but it really lets you see into the minds of the main players. The love triangle between Rae, Pete, and RJ is heartbreaking, yet the epilogue leads you to believe there is hope for all of them. This book is definitely for mature audiences due to language and sexual content. Overall, a very enjoyable story!

Edge and Rae are the ultimate second chance romance couple! This was one helluva MC story with non stop action, adventure and suspense. I loved how throughout the story we’re experiencing both Rae and Pete’s POV’s you get to connect more with both the characters. The paranormal mix was one that had me hanging on wanting more and more. Without giving any details away I will say that this was a great read and I’m curious to see what’s in store for the club and everyone. Page turner

I hated every time I had to put this book down and adult. Rae anf Pete share a love that is intense, sexy as hell, yet troubled. The writing is strong, the characters are raw, and the story is unique. I love that it wrapped several genres together and am intrigued with the alien storyline that will need to be explored in further books. It was the ending that killed me. There are some awesome things coming from this series and I can't wait.

3.5 stars--SINS OF THE FATHER is the first instalment in Nikki Landis’ contemporary, adult RAVAGE RIDERS MC slightly paranormal, MC romance series. This is Peter ‘Edge’ Ravage, and Rae Stenson’s story line.

WARNING: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from three first person perspectives (Edge, Rae, RJ) using present day and memories from the past, covering approximately three years, SINS OF THE FATHER focuses on the romance and relationship between Peter ‘Edge’ Ravage, and Rae Stenson. Since he was ten years old, Peter ‘Edge’ Ravage has been in love with best friend Rae Stenson but at eighteen years of age, Peter was prospecting with the Ravage Riders MC, and the fall-out of the war with a rival MC was about to affect his relationship with our story line heroine. A series of threats against Rae Stenson meant Peter and his friends and fellow prospects were constantly on the defensive when it came to the woman he loves, a woman whose naivety was about to threaten everyone she loved. What ensues is the ongoing relationship, friendship and building love between Peter and Rae, and the potential fall-out when sins from the past demand vengeance in the present time.

The relationship between Peter aka Edge and Rae is one of childhood best friends in which Rae is naïve to her best friend’s emotions, feelings, and his obvious connections to one of the local MCs. There is plenty of back ground information regarding three families destroyed by betrayal, vengeance, secrets and lust, and in this, the next generations is about to pay for sins of the past. Not only has Peter fallen in love with his best friend, but so too, has someone else, who is willing to step aside, and watch from the sidelines. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members from the Ravage Riders MC, and the Satan’s Outlaw MC. We are introduced to Peter’s best friend RJ, as well as Jake and Hayley; Rae’s mother Sarah, her step-father Charlies, and her sister Leah; Pete’s father Mack, and Club VP turned President Rafe.

SINS OF THE FATHER is a story of betrayal and vengeance, power and control, love and friendships, obsession and hate. The very slight paranormal , character driven premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is young and passionate; the characters are determined and dynamic.

You can always count on this author to give you a great story. Writing in first point of view allows the reader to feel and experience how and what the characters are experiencing.

I'd never read an MC novel before, but to add to that, there are additional genres that sneak up on you and slap you across the face. Yes, there are hints, but the explosive way the reader finds out is Landis showing her talent. I liked that Rae, the main female character, was not meek or too submissive to her 'alpha male', and I enjoyed her defiance even if it did sometimes come across as immature, she is quite young.

The build-up of what happened, why and whodunit is well executed and the ending reveals enough to feel satisfied with a conclusion but leaves the story open for so much more for the next instalment.
Ideal for those that like a mix of MC, erotica, and suspense.

Fantastic Story!

This is another amazing story by the incredible Nikki Landis.

The story is filled with lots of action, suspense, thrills, murder and so much mayhem. Edge is a very sexy and fierce beast who will do anything (I mean anything) to protect the woman he loves. Rae is a strong willed and very sassy woman who has suffered a lot in her life. These two have so much history together and they fight to have a future.

Their story is gritty, raw and deeply emotional. It had my heart aching for them right from the start until the very end. I loved every second of it and I can't wait for more.

Wow ! .

Sweet nibblets ! . Just when you think you have the story figured out Boom ! Plot twist. Daaaaammmm Nikki Landis knows how to keep her readers hooked . I freaking loved this book and all it's twists and turns. More then once I was left gapping like a fish out of water. Lies, betrayal, anger, love and a touch of supernatural flicker this story that left this reader wanting so much more. I can't wait for RJ's book bring it on !

Wow, this book has everything you can think of. Danger, second chance at love, deep secrets, a little bit of the sci-fi affect and love that knows no bounds. Edge (Pete) and Rae have so much going on it's a wonder they have survived. There's one point in the book I wasn't so sure. This was an excellent read with a HEA for them, but the club, who knows for now.

Fantastic new series!

Nikki Landis always draws me in with her books, and this series is no different. I am not even a fan of MC reads but I read hers and a few other authors because they are so well written. Characters are loveable and the plot just draws me in. Absolutely loved it and if you are a fan of MC reads, this is definitely for you. If your not, give it a try, it might surprise you!

Not really sure what it was suposed to be or which route to take. We spend more than half of the book reading what happened a few years ago - as if the characters where teenage or even children, but whom were supose to be madly in love by the age of ten - but the "nowadays" story seems hurried up and a bit confusing even. The structure of the Pete's MC seems to be collapsing, not that he cares all that much. If we exclude the "rae of his life" and his closest friends, I don't really think it has any space left for the rest. Although the collection continues, not really sure I'm going to read the next ones...
