This second gen, best friends to lovers romance was epic and engaging from start to finish. This is Jack and Beau's story. Best friends since childhood, their wires get crossed as they both develop deeper feelings, but for multiple reasons, they keep them secret. When the floodgates open, however, this story turns steamy and consuming all at once. There's no question, no will or won't they, they're all in. This story is really one of how they complete each other, how they're unequivocally meant to be, and how fiercely they're going to hold onto each other.
With Beau's close proximity to Jack's family, there's a lot of interaction with Sasha, Jack's fathers, and all his siblings. They way they interact is cute, supportive, and I love the way they revel in their uniqueness. As an avid lover of the Quintessence series, it does my heart so much good to see everyone thriving or coming together when times get tough.
And I pray this story gets enough traction because the tease that is Rosie and Bash gives me goosebumps. This is a romance that takes place around Christmas, and it was an excellent gift to read during the holiday season.
