It’s no secret, I absolutely love Andie M. Longs books; my favourite being the Sucking Dead Series. She mixes humour and paranormal romance like the perfect whipped cream pudding.

Filthy rich vampires is RH and heavy on the spice. It’s a short two book duo (about 4 hours each).

Serena is a journalist with a story that needs the tea to spill. She’s investigating the playboys with a tendency of dating the same woman.
Carter, Flynn, Smith, and Jayden have a secret. They’re not just rich, they’re also vampires. Looking for their queen is proving more difficult than they thought.
When Serena starts snooping around, she finds them irresistible.
Can the guys find their queen? And will Serena get her story?

Audiobook read. I’ve had the paperback version on the shelf for a while but haven’t gotten around to reading it. When I saw it was now available on audiobook I jumped at the chance to listen to it.

Rachel woods is becoming one of my favourite narratives. Her partner for this one is Charlie Chesterfield. Great performance as usual.

This is a creative, fun read. It’s full of spice and a new town to discover.

This was OK. The entire first book was very quick and you don’t honestly feel a lot of connection between anyone and the main character goes from needing all of them to suffer via her story to being in love with them and maybe one day. The second book is just a giant miscommunication Trump and I don’t mean a small amount I mean a literal giant amount of miscommunication- so that brought my rating much lower. I scanned a lot through that book and was still very frustrated by the ending so it is what it is but it definitely wasn’t the best.

Exciting! I love paranormal and reverse harem and now throw in vampires, and I was hooked. I loved how Serena gave the guys grief as much as she received and proved she was the one for them. I enjoyed both stories being placed together since once I started, I couldn't put it down.

Well this was a cute little duet. There were somethings that I didn't like, but that's to be expected with any book. I gave it 3 stars because, there was a few points where there were grammar errors and they just drove me insane. Overall it was a good read though.

4 men, 1 womam

Story had a solid plot and good flowing writing. The first book is a good quick read. However, things happen too quickly. How does the female lead move to town for a job, meet the 4 guys she's investigating, have sex with 2 of them in less than an hour, then all 4 of them the next day, and two days later meet all their parents, decide to be their (all 4) girlfriend AND become a Vampire in less than 2 weeks?? That's the first book. Like I said, good beach read, racy, and unbelievable. Did not read the second book of the duet.

So I’ve only read book one but I cannot continue.

Everything is just glossed over …
“ we’re vampires.”
“…oh, ok. I need time to think” …*literally 5 minutes later*… “yeah all good.”

This book had everything that I love in a story, why-choose, vampires, billionaires, should have been so good. Really disappointing, read like Bella Swan wrote it herself in awkward years of high school. I skim read to the end just to finish hoping for some kind of redemption. Nope.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaa,No. Shallow and convoluted doesn’t begin to cover it.

⚠️ You bet your A there are spoilers ahead !⚠️
No.
No. No. No. No. No. No!
This is just so damn F’ing Shallow.
Ok,you know that huge plot you just read in the books desc.? Well,it’s meaningless . It’s just a giant mind F perpetrated by the guys mothers to play “matchmaker” for them. And one of the mothers you won’t see coming. Why am I “spoiling” all this ? Because it all pissed 😡 me off. I’m not off ticked because of that necessarily but that combined with just how damn shallow everyone is just really vexed me . Serena believes some poor but very easy was hurt and humiliated by the guys ,and though it would awful if true ,it was never worth the time and time effort for some big magazine to make into an expose. I mean come on,sure she was humiliated but it was all consensual and this type of behavior isn’t all that out of the norm these days. And while these guys parents are famous ,these guys are just slightly infamous playboys. It’s not really a big deal . But Serena was really taking a huge delight at the thought of exposing them and didn’t want to really get to know them. But ditto for the guys. They just wanted sex ( despite all the bs about finding “the one”j and she just wanted sex and a story.
Everyone involved is just so damn SHALLOW!
All of them put together barely have enough depth for a four old to go swimming in. They are ONLY 25-27 years old ,babies still as a vampire would go. They don’t need a wife and never felt like anything more than a good time and sex was important to them. Before, during and after things with Serena .
There was NO world building and NO depth or true emotional connections made.
I couldn’t take anything these idiots said seriously because all anyone ever thought about was sex.
The guys didn’t try to get to know her or her them . You get to know each other and build a connection then have some hot ,steamy sex ,otherwise it’s all meaningless. And it was. At the end of part one all the secrets and lies are exposed even that I’d Serena’s parentage and then it’s like ,ok so do you wanna be ours ? Do agree to be turned ? Yeah, ok. Love you, let’s do this .
W. T. H ?
Everything has just a big F’ed match making game involving just about EVERYONE but the clueless overly ambitious heroine and the four over sexed vapid guys. No emotional connections just sex.
And now suddenly they’re all gonna just go off and get “married” ?
Who the hell cares.
If your just gonna write sex ,write sex,why pretend it needs a plot ? Like a bad/evil guy in a book or movie ,can’t he just enjoy being evil for evil’s sake ? Does he NEED so crappy backstory to justify the fact he likes to be evil or cruel and hurt ppl ? No. No nit really. I think this pissed me off because it tried to pretend to and convince me it depth at times ,when really it was just a bunch of mostly lazy, shallow ppl who had nothing going on inside and just wanted sex and a good time but nothing more.
Wish to heck this had been KU and I hadn’t wasted my money on this. It so was not worth it .
Hope I can get a refund . I didn’t read the second half,it wasn’t worth wasting more of my time.

I went into this book thinking it was a book that I had seen from bookstagram and I hope that this is not the book that everyone had been raving about.

Start off with a journalist going to uncover this story about these guys who are known for pumping and dumping women. Really thought this would be a bit of a slow burn type with a little like enemies to lovers type of mix in from her POV.

NOPE

She gets with them within two weeks of meeting them, and by “gets with them” I mean she moves in with them at the end of the two weeks, meets their families, and decides that she’s going to make the transition to become a vampire herself. Oh and that’s just the first book. 🥸

Then in the second book we get all these random side adventures that they each are going through that all of a sudden lead to the “third act breakup” that lasts for 2 pages? Right! Gotcha. Love that.

And why do we have like a whole flashback story of Serena meeting her old roommate and cleaning out her room, only to have a millisecond of a page to do with her whole “turning”. So many moments like this were just glanced at and it actually infuriated me.

What I hated the most about this book is that moments in the story that were a MAIN part of the plot and something that the book lead up to would be discussed within like MAYBE two pages. But then for the minor parts of the story that literally had nothing to do with the relevance of the story, there was a full chapter dedicated to it.

It also would make it seem like on of the MC’s we’re getting ready to do something that would contribute to the main point of the plot but in a negative way, and then the next time we hear from them it’s like “I didn’t go through with it” like you cannot just keep bringing up these dealbreaker moments to just pretend like they were just silly, goofy moments that weren’t going to lead anywhere.

Only gave it two stars because I feel like I need to leave the one star for books that have horrible writing/plot/etc. and while this book was close, there was a story hidden underneath all the other garbage. That doesn’t mean that it was a good one.

What an interesting and compelling twist on vampire lore. I didn’t know what to expect from this story but loved that the billionaires are vampires that live among humans without really any issues. Serena is a fantastic reporter and always gets her story. When Leonie submits a story about a group of playboy billionaires that treated her horribly, well, Serena is on the case. When she arrives in the Bu and begins the quest to reveal the truth about these playboys, she never expects to find genuinely nice men. For Carter, Flynn, Jayden and Smith, they are on a search for a woman that can handle all 4 of them. They have a unique bond that started as kids and even though they have different parents, they see themselves as brothers. Because of this, they find that if one of them dates a woman, that woman doesn’t like how much time they spend together. On meeting Serena, each of them finds that they are drawn to her so could she be the one. But they have a big secret so how will Serena take it when she learns they are vampires? But Serena has her own hidden talents that she isn’t even aware of. There were several great twists and turns with this reverse harem tale along with amazing sexy and sultry moments between all of them. I enjoyed this decadent escape. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

An enjoyable duet that centres on this undercover reporter and her four vampire men.
These four are rich, promiscuous, secretive and looking for one perfect woman to share.
Serena is won over by them when she finally sees beyond their title and arrogance.
These four are irresistible and she can't fight being the one they have searched for.
Choosing them over her story leads us into the next book...
Serena must be turned in order to deal with their very energetic romance that seems to exhaust her.
These men have found their one and want her to be their wife but first they may just have to find themselves.
Nothing is as clear as it seems to be with each questioning their reality or their purpose.
I liked the stories with the characters making this such easy reading.
There are points that have depth with a certain man struggling with addiction and decisions he can't seem to control.
Jayden doesn't know exactly who he is and it bothers him.
Flynn and Carter appear to have new opportunities.
I liked that each character isn't so hollow and that this duet has some emotion within it.

Serena is determined to find out the truth about four rich playboys and the way they play with women. But what happens when the truth is different and more then expected, and what will happen to her career when she falls in love with these playboys?

This boxset includes "Filthy rich players" and "Filthy rich husbands", and is written in multiple POV. Serena is the first person ever who holds these guys accountable for who they are and what they do and I enjoyed the effect she has on her men. While they aren't bad men, they are also spoiled and they need a firecracker like Serena to keep them in line. I really liked Flynn: levelheaded, but with a passionate side, he's my kind of guy. This book, even as a boxset, is too short to do in-depth character building, but it was a pleasant read the way it was. The paranormal element was a nice extra to the story.

An Intriguing Expose . . .

When Serena Saxton, a journalist, hears how badly these billionaire playboys treated Leonie, her source, she decides to do an expose on the men. Carter, Flynn, Smith, and Jayden are sons of billionaires. They are searching for a woman that all four of them want and will share her. So Serena heads to Malibu to investigate the secrets of these guys. She ends up really liking all of them. Could she be “The One” they have been searching for? And how will Serena respond when she discovers her wonderful guys are actually vampires? And is she ready to discover secrets about herself as well?

There is so much more to learn about here. The twists and turns keep the reader riveted on the story, even as the pages figuratively smolder on your eReader. Grab your copy and continue on to the rest of the story to see if things work out and what Serena discovers.

Audiobook Review

Performance - On the plus side this is duet narration but that is about the only thing it has going for it. The male narrator does not have enough variation in his voice. All the MMCs sound similar. The only one that was distinct was Smith and the voice he chose was super annoying. The female narrator was good though so that helped me get past the male voices.

Story - This is a complete duet and the first book was better than the second. It is RH with hidden from society supernaturals, specifically vampires. The plot wasn’t unique but it was enjoyable. The second book was a little bit less believable as far as character motivations but it wasn’t bad. There are some very steamy scenes that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Hot and steamy! One woman for four vampires, they actually want to spoil her forever. A woman feeling scorned and embarrassed is looking for revenge when she contacts Serena about these four rich playboys. The joke is on her because Serena actually falls for each guy. Her relationship brings out the best of each guy as she helps them mature and find their strength. Fair warning it’s very erotic and will light your kindle on fire. I am a big fan of Long and her other paranormal series, but this is different from her normal stuff. I received an early copy from the author and have provided my review voluntarily.

This duet is a fun, light read with likable characters. In book one, Serena is an undercover reporter. The subjects of her story are the filthy rich players, Carter, Flynn, Smith, and Jayden, sons of the Billionaire elite of Carbon Beach. What she doesn't know is that they are vampires, closer even than brothers, and they are looking for love with one woman they can share, which they think might be Serena. In book two, various issues crop up for each of them that could ruin their new relationship but all is resolved with a nice HEA. I enjoyed this book a lot.

Bottomline: Easy read with a little unique twist on the vampire/reverse harem genre.

This book was an impulse for me. I wanted something easy and a new author. Saw the give away on GoodReads (didn't win but got me interested in the book) and got it via iTunes. It was a fun little read and because it wasn't expensive I felt more favorable towards the book. The characters are not my favorite "types" but they are well written.

The story line has a few twists I found enjoyable. This feels like a new author to me but was enjoyable. The book was pretty simple, not to high on the spice scale and had a good conclusion. I would recommend this to a friend who was interested in the genre.

I received an ARC copy of this book for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book because it's from all of the characters POV so we get to see how they all feel, and also the fact that there is a story here it's not just about sex, as a lot of reverse harems can be.
I really enjoy the way that Andie writes, because she always manages to keep me gripped and also keeps you turning the pages into the small hours of the morning without realising.
Serena is a reporter sent to Malibu to discover the truth about four men who seduced a woman and then humiliated her afterwards.
What she finds takes her by surprise and turns her world upside down.
I promise you won't be disappointed if you enjoy reverse harem book's, you'll love this 😍😍

Serena goes undercover to try to expose the Filthy Rich Players: Carter, Jayden, Smith, and Flynn. She soon discovers that she enjoys her hot-as-heck encounters with these four vamps, and they’re willing to share! Here you can indulge in the entire story from beginning to end.

I love that their whole story is in one place so I didn’t have to put it down until I’d read it all. The author’s interpretation of vampires is a lot different than what I’m used to reading; hers are more humanized. The changing process also seemed as simple and easy as going to the dentist.

Great read!

Great vampire romance with Carter, Flynn, Jayden, Smith and Serena, 4 vampires who are just like brothers they want to find a woman for them to share and to keep then Serena shows up to get a story about 4 playboy bachelors. The guys have secrets and so does Serena but will Serena accept all 4 guys or will they scare her away once she finds out that they are vampires?. The characters are a bit shallow even though the guys are 4 billionaire playboys I guess it comes with the territory, there are also plenty of 🔥 sexy scenes and I recommend this book.

Filthy Rich Vampires includes "Filthy Rich Players" and "Filthy Rich Husbands". Serena is a journalist who goes undercover to expose Carter, Flynn, Smith, and Jayden a group of billionaire playboys, and their treatment of women. One problem the guys think she is the one they have been searching for. This is a paranormal reverse harem with a vampire twist, steam, interesting characters, and a great ending. I loved that we got both books in one because it made it easier to keep on reading when I finished the first book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I think the current rating of 3.76 is fairly accurate. Of the two parts I enjoyed the first part better than the second. I found the second part very obvious and could see the plot coming from the very beginning, so it didn't excite me all that much. The sexy times were well written, and the romance/love was alright so long as you don't mind the fairly obvious instalove part of it. Overall I finished the book(s) because they were interesting enough to keep me going, but I wouldn't push them on a friend to read unless someone was looking for a short sexy fantasy romance.

Is this a literary genius, no, but is it a fun read after your mind is melted and your soul destroyed from reading The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue and you need a palette cleanser before getting into Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil? 100% This has extra spice so if you dont want to get into EXTREME detail of Serena's sexual life you may want to give this a pass, but if you don't mind, or dare I say enjoy, that kind of thing, then you should go all in. These are two books in one. The second book is a bit less interesting (the setup was a bit obvious) than the first, but it is still good.

Well if you like it hot. And I mean really hot and spicy, you are going to love this duet. What is hotter than one sexy vampire? Four of them, that's what is hotter. And it is not just all sex and steam. There is a good story as well. Even though I am not complaining about all the smexy going on, because it was some good stuff. But the storyline was good as well making this a very entertaining read.

A reporter thinks she has a story that could make her career. The four men, billionaires at that, supposable mistreated her source. The scorned sources fails at what she was trying because when she goes to investigate and finds more than she expects. Not just about these men, but herself, too. The story is beyond hot but it is not just erotic, there is good character and a good storyline too.
