Cute story. Just doctors falling in love again.

I loved how dedicated and passionate Tori was about her work as a doctor. But, girl you have to have more than just your career! You gave that good man away, thinking you couldn't have both! Christian, although devastated when Tori broke things off, he never got over her and the love he held for her never left his heart. When the opportunity presents itself to be in Tori's company again, Christian decides to get his woman back! I loved how he was firm, yet gentle in his approach. He slowly eased his way back into Tori's life and her heart. Good read! 👍👍👍

Tori and Christian are young medical residents who are engaging in a hot and heavy affair. An unfortunate situation led to Tori ending their relationship. Years later, Christian is back and he is determined to rekindle the fire and teach the woman he still loves that she can have it all. This book is so sweet. I loved Christian aka the “good doctor” because of his persistence. The way he shows Tori that she can have the love of a good man AND a successful career is definitely swoon worthy. I just love a man who aims to please. Tori, on the other hand stresses me out with her stubborn nature. I felt that everything she is experiencing in her live life is self- inflicted. Then she has the nerve to blame her job. How Tori? How? Thankfully the good doctor had the patience and prescription for her illness. The beginning did start off slow and at times I feel like the medical dialogue overpowered the romance between the couple. But, If you’re a fan of a second chance and medical romance with a cinnamon roll hero, this is definitely the book for you.

This book opens up with a bang and I was here for it. Two young doctors set out to do their best to improve the quality of life for sick children. As the realness of their job sets in Tori feels like she can't balance the demands of being a doctor and being in love. So, she pushes Christian away even though she was very much still in love with him.
Life goes on and years past and although Tori has sworn off love she finds herself wanting just that. Christian never stopped loving Tori and no other woman had ever been able to compare. After his father passed and he had no more ties to Atlanta he set out to claim his home in human form. He was not going to stop until she belonged to him again.
Once Tori quit fighting she felt the fireworks between them, that now seemed even more potent. Their passion for each other and their work was off the charts. It was nice seeing them get out of their own way and back into each others arms.

The heart wants what the heart wants....
Ms. Aja I enjoyed this holiday novella. My first love or passion has always been medical. The fact you wrote about two doctors was right down my alley. Christian and Tori deserved the second chance at love. They both had parental losses, but that brought them back together. It was unfortunate, but it was another characteristic they had in common. Christian knew Tori was his one. He devised a plan in his head and worked it to his advantage. I loved how he used his prescription pad to give orders to Tori.
This is a short, cute, holiday novella. You will enjoy it because it truly depicts, "the heart wants what the heart wants." It is ironic that how the inevitable presents itself when two people love each other. It seems the 'universe' had a way to make sure their paths cross again. It is more of 'baes of Christmas' stories, I plan to indulge in as many as possible if not all. I certainly recommend for you to do the same.

I am here for the second chance love stories, Oh-kay💕
Since being introduced to Queen Aja work at the beginning of the year, she has yet to disappoint.
This second chance Christmas short was just what the Dr ordered. Christian and Tori spent years apart after a bad breakup. Now Christian is back with a new job position and to stake claim on the woman who stole his heart. Tori tries hard to stay away and avoid him, but Christian made she that they had to work side by side so the running had to stop. Everyone around her including one of her favorite patients mom could see the live they had for each other and the change in her aura and mood since Dr. Christian Powers returned. I'm glad she finally threw caution to the wind and got her man💕

She Understood The Assignment
Eight Naughty Notes is one of the best holiday stories I’ve read so far. You have got to read this “Christmas Bae “ story that features Tori Clark and Christian Powers. It’s a wonderful take on second chance love. Tori and Christian are two characters with a lot of depth. You’ll understand that statement when you read the story. The connection with a another character from one of her books, and the connection to one of the books in this series does it for me! Eight Naughty Notes is a well-written story that I highly recommend for your holiday reading. Place it at the top of your TBR pile. You can thank me later.

Eh...
Although I liked it, it wasn't what I expected. It started off a little slow (too much conversation about the hospital) but picked up by Chapter Four. This series is titled 'Baes of Christmas', but it gave nothing in relation to the holiday, and that was a little disappointing. It also felt rushed. There were certain parts of the story that got a little confusing due to unexpected location changes. The author went from an apartment to the hospital without a break of some kind to let the reader know the location had changed. This happened more than once in the story and I thought it was a typo with the names until I read a little further.
3.75 Stars.

Second Chance Romance At It’s Best!! 🤗🔥🤗
I was glad to see Carina’s big sister, Tori, have her chance of receiving love again with the love of her life, Christian! However, it was nice to have a short visit with Carina and Salik again!
I loved how Dr. Christian Powers knew who he missed and what he wanted and Dr. Hughes was the catalyst to bring him “home” to Dr. Tori Clark! I loved how each of those notes brought them closer and their love for each other to shine bright!! This was an excellent book and series and I highly recommend it!! You should grab your copy now!! As Always, Kudos, Aja!! 💜

OMg, I’m enjoying the Baes of Christmas (even in June 🤷🏾♀️)! …cheer, anticipation, hope, romance, love & memorable moments are all emotions synonymous with Christmas. The “Eight Naughty Notes” or what I affectionately recall “sugar plums dancing” in the bed etc.🤣😂, is no exception‼️A second chance at love & the mere thought of romantic gestures: personalized prescriptions by a (your) chocolate🤎 Santa bae… to crescendo into a romantic luxury getaway plus the “🎁”…yea, that’s naughty & nice🤤🥰🙋🏾♀️‼️This series will be a holiday recurring classic for me🎄🥰👏🏽👏🏾👏🏿💐‼️

Why would Tori give up the love of her life for the sake of her career? Yet I loved that while Christian was devastated by the loss, he did not give up hope. It also helped that his father believed in Christian and Tori's love and made that clear before he passed away. This story was beautifully written and I appreciate how gentle yet unwavering Christian was in his pursuit of Tori. Glad she got out of her head and gave love a chance. Loved the notes, love this story.

Aja you bring hope! I loved the way you tell a story! You had me from page 1! The research you put in was amazing, all the little details matter from the IT business the doctors used to the patient care! I loved the prescriptions Christen left for Tori! I sure hope there is a part two!

So Many Emotions....
Can you be successful and have love, family etc?
Tori is a top Pediatrician in the country who felt she was better suited focusing on her patients......Ending her relationship with fellow Pediatrician Christian.
But can a job love and keep you warm at night?
The Author did an excellent job of incorporating stories about their patients and the raw emotions associated with providing care and making medical decisions.
Loved the notes Christian left providing directions to Tori.

Young, attractive and educated the main characters are completing their residencies and have fallen for one another but an unfortunate tragedy leads Tori to break things off with Christian, opting to focus fully on her career and patients. Christian leaves Pittsburgh since Tori won't talk to or see him but years later he takes a position back at the same hospital to win his lady back and show her they can have their careers and love.

I enjoyed this! It was a lot more emotional than I was expecting, but when the setting is a children's hospital it's to be expected. Unfortunately, I do wish there were more Christmas elements to the story.
Can we talk about the smut right out the gate??? I was NOT expecting all that when I opened the prologue. It did set the mood for the rest of the book, so I appreciated it.
I will definitely be reading more from this author.

Eight gave us second chance love
Eight gave us a chance for rekindled love in this medical romance. The two doctors in this story parted ways in a heated manner. The ex lovers came together again, working to save little ones lives, and hopefully they would get back to loving one another, again. I adored this couple, and the exceptional writing made me believe their love would survive this time.

Eight Times Naughty Notes
This was a love story about Tori Clark and Christian Powers. They met many years ago then went to.medical school together. They were in love but were determined to complete medical school. After becoming doctors they split because medicine was their number one. Three years later Christian returned to the same hospital determined and succeeding reaching their happily ever after .

This was a nice second chance romance. Tori and Christian met and dated if you will while they were residents at the hospital but Tori breaks things off when one of her patients dies and she feels she needs to dedicate herself to her job and not her personal life. Christian moved away after that but he never forgot Tori. Now years later he comes back to town to take a job at the same hospital they shared their residency at and he is determined to get Tori back as well.
I was happy that Tori decided to let herself live and see that she can have both the career and the man and I was also happy with the way the situation ended with her patient at the end of the book. Overall I enjoyed the book, it started out with a bang literally and then slowed down a little so it could be considered a slow burn but it was worth the ride.

Love is Sweeter The Second Time Around
Tori and Christian story was so heartfelt. The are both pediatricians and they love their jobs, the children they treat and each other. This story was about a second chance at love and Aja did a phenomenal job of crafting this story about the love of two doctors who deserve their second chance.

Yassssss!!!! This story is so romantic! When the doctor orders self care with a passionate twist! A career does not heal a lonely heart. Is there a doctor in the house
This sexy second at love story grabbed and held my attention from that second TAP. This story was penned in true Aja fashion and I can say she did not disappoint. After reading this Christmas novella I now need to go back see about Carina and Salik. Job well done Aja!

I am enjoying the Baes of Christmas series. This is the 4th book that I've read and possibly my least favorite, so far. The overall plot was cute--old lovers rekindling their flame. The inconsistencies of details and spelling errors were off-putting. I would like to read something else by Aja though; I want to give her writing another shot.
