This is an anthology of inspirational Christian romance set "on the prairie" of the USA.
"After the Harvest" by Lynn A Coleman. This started out kind of boring for me but picked up towards the end. Not a great story but a solid read. B-
"Love Notes" by Mary Davis. For me this story was a little disturbing. If Christian people acted the way these characters did I would be ashamed to call myself one. There is a happy ending but overall the story was depressing. C-
"Mother's Old Quilt" by Lena Nelson Dooley was very enjoyable and believable. A-
"The Tie that Binds" by Susan K. Downs was a DNF for me. I skimmed 90% of it.
"A Heart's Dream" by Birdie L. Ethcison was also a DNF.
"The Bride's Song" by Linda Ford was a really good cowboy themed story set in 1898 Canada. REALLY enjoyed this one.
"The Barefoot Bride" by Linda Goodnight made me cry. I would have LOVED to read this in a full length novel.
Most stories were 4 stars though a couple felt like they were full of anachronistic references. Quite few gave me the feeling of reading an L. M. Montgomery story collection. Clean romance left me feeling warm and cozy.
I wasn't horribly impressed. I didn't read all of it. I only got about halfway through. Feel good little stories though. I may finish it at some point in time.
