I Couldn’t Put It Down
I love this author’s writing style because she makes you feel the passion that her characters have for not only their SO’s but for their club as well. Now we get to see how Koda’s passion for both are given center stage in this amazing MC book.
Koda’s older brother, Zero is Prez of the Houston Defiance as was his father. Koda needs to prove he isn’t the “kid” any longer and deserves a spot within Defiance as well. Even though he has been through so much in his life he still needs to prove to those around him that he is more than ready to join the club he loves so much.
Thayleah has been taken in with the Blood Brothers MC and has now set out on her own going to the same college that Koda is attending. She too has a backstory that is heartbreaking and she survived with some lasting trauma Koda is helping her overcome.
This book was full of action, drama, secretive societies, psychos, friendships and love. This whole series is amazing and Koda and Thayleah’s story is no different. Prepare yourself of one crazy cliffhanger that has me waiting on pins and needles because I have to know what is going to happen next!!

Loved Koda and Thayleah’s story. Both have seen the worst of mankind and yet find a kinship in each other.
The writing is fast paced and sharp … it had me constantly turning the page to find out what would happen. This one ends on a cliffhanger so if that’s not your thing, then this book may not be for you but I urge everyone to give it a go. Loved learning more about their backgrounds. This one is set in college rather than the MC but it still will hold your attention until the end … I won’t spoil it for anyone but I can’t wait for the conclusion of their story.

Secretive was nothing like I expected! It's the most different book in the series and I loved that, even the ending was a huge change compared to the previous stories. Koda & Thayleah were also not what I imagined and their story is the perfect balance between a college & MC romance, what which made me enjoy this even more.
Koda was always a character that I really liked, but reading the younger of the Walker brothers as the main character made me fall in love with him even more. Koda is next in line to be president of the Houston Defiance MC, however he feels he has to prove himself to his brother and sister, and the rest of the club. It was definitely a surprise to read more about Koda from the past and everything that went through his head when his parents were killed in front of him, when he agreed to run away with Prinie and when she and Zero sent him away for college.
He's a guy with a huge heart, kind, loyal to his family, the MC and his new friends, I loved the immediate connection he has with Thayleah, how he wants to help her, protect her and be there when she needs him. And the plot with the Scorpio Society gave it the twist that this series needed: the suspense, the secrets and the danger in which the boys are involved was exciting to read . Of course I had a lot of fun reading his unexpected friendship with Brady & Miles, how different they are from each other and how they manage to create such a cute and funny relationship, and reading Koda doing things like an ordinary boy outside the MC was the best.
Thayleah has a much more tragic story than Koda and has faced quite complicated situations for a girl her age, she has found the family she needed with the Brothers by Blood MC, but now she's determined to fulfill her dreams, and to do so, she has to get away from the safety of the club, face her nightmares, panic attacks and demons on her own, however she won't have to do it alone, In Stonwell Thayleah meets Koda, a boy from the same background who understands her like no one else has before. This girl is beautiful, kind, cute, she is thankful to the MC and making new friends. I really liked reading Thayleah experiencing new things and being happy in spite of everything, her friendship with Tins was beautiful, and it allowed me to see the bravest, most daring and wild side of her.
As I already said, the plot has been one of the best in this series, I really liked reading the two MCs who are responsible for Koda & Thay, Zero & Shotgun were quite funny with their concern for both guys and I loved that they were always willing to support and help them. There were only two details that didn't allow me to give this story 5 stars, first of all, I think Koda's situation with the Scorpio Society was resolved pretty quickly, I would have liked it to go a little deeper, especially after how hard it was for him to avoid them, and finally, I didn't love the way Thayleah decided to deal with the new threats, still, it was a book that I thoroughly enjoyed and I'm looking forward to reading the next one, although it makes me a little sad to think that it will be the last in the series, I can't wait.

Thayleah tiene una historia mucho más trágica que Koda y se ha enfrentado a situaciones bastante complicadas para una chica de su edad, ella ha encontrado la familia que necesitaba con the Brothers by Blood MC, pero ahora está decidida a cumplir sus sueños y para hacerlo tiene que alejarse de la seguridad del club, enfrentar por su cuenta sus pesadillas, ataques de pánico y demonios, sin embargo no tendrá que hacerlo sola, en Stonwell Thayleah se encuentra con Koda, un chico que tiene los mismos antecedentes y que la entiende como nadie lo había hecho antes. Esta chica es hermosa, amable, linda, esta agradecida con el MC y haciendo nuevos amigos. Me gustó mucho leer a Thayleah experimentando cosas nuevas y siendo feliz a pesar de todo, su amistad con Tins fue hermosa, y me dejó ver su lado más valiente, atrevido y salvaje.
Como ya dije, la trama ha sido una de las mejores en esta serie, me gustó mucho leer a los dos MCs que son los responsables de Koda & Thay, Zero & Shotgun fueron bastante divertidos con su preocupación por ambos chicos y me encantó que siempre estuvieran dispuestos a apoyarlos y ayudarlos. Solo hubo dos detalles que no me permitieron darle las cinco estrellas a esta historia, en primer lugar, creo que la situación de Koda con the Scorpio Society se resolvió bastante rápido, me hubiera gustado que se profundizara un poco más, especialmente después de lo difícil que fue para él evitarlos, y finalmente, no me encantó la manera en la que Thayleah decidió lidiar con las nuevas amenazas, aún así, fue un libro que disfrute muchísimo y estoy esperando con ansias leer el siguiente, aunque me pone un poco triste el pensar que será el ultimo de la serie, no puedo esperar.

Thayleah has suffered so much in her short time on earth, and the trauma has left our heroine struggling with her day to day life. Meeting Koda Walker eases Thayleah’s demons, demons that are about to resurface when the past demands more from our story line heroine. Koda Walker knows loss having witnessed the murder of his parents. In an effort to protect Koda from the life of the MC, Koda is enrolled in college where everything is about to spiral out of control. Meeting Thayleah gave Koda plans for the future but or hero refuses to back down when Thayleah’s life is threatened, calling in help from the people in the Houston Defiance MC, and the family that Thayleah calls her own.
The relationship between Koda and Thayleah is one of immediate attraction but Thayleah struggles with PTSD. There is a large ensemble cast of colorful and energetic secondary and supporting characters including several members of the Houston Defiance MC. We are quickly introduced to some of Thayleah’s extended family in the Brothers of Blood MC of Phoenix ; Professor Vance Huntington, and his son Brady; Thayleah’s roommate Tinsley, and Koda’s roommate Myles.The requisite evil has many faces.

The premise is dark and gritty but does not read like the previous instalments due to the age and circumstance of the story line couple; the characters are captivating ;the romance is passionate. Perfection from Kim & Addison
I love it when KE Osborn and Addison Jane co-author books, SECRETIVE is no exception, and was a wonderful surprise. Kim and Addison bring together their two MCs, Houston Defiance and Brothers OF Blood, when Koda Walker and Thayleah Ryan meet at Stonewall University. Both Koda and Thayleah had suffered tragedy in their life, now was the time to find themselves and prove to those who love them most, that they could be more than who they appeared to be.
"You make me feel safe, Koda. I want you to remember that when you doubt who you are."
At fifteen Koda witnessed the murder of his parents. Then, he was taken away from the only home he had ever known by his older sister, to keep him safe. Now he's at Stonewall to grow up and prove that he is capable of making life decisions. But all Koda wants to do is return home to Houston and be given the chance to earn his place within the Defiance MC and gain his patch. Thayleah had an upbringing most people could never imagine, a mother who didn't care and the murder of her beloved sister. Taken in by the Brothers of Blood MC, Thayleah was finally able to learn what family was really about. Stonewall is meant to be a fresh start for her. For Koda and Thayleah Stonewall brings happiness and challenges, but there's also something that's just not right, evil lurks in the shadows.

From the moment they meet, Koda and Thayleah have an instant attraction, a chemistry that is undeniable and unavoidable. There's more though, they have a deep understanding of each other because of their similar backgrounds. I enjoyed the way their friendship evolved and how the trust between them was built with a natural progression. Would their relationship be able to withstand the pressures put upon them by their respective MCs and University life? I loved how quickly protection for Thayleah came for Koda, it was natural, instinctive, as if it were destined to happen. The encouragement, support and love they have for one another was endearing, it only made me love them more. Will their new found strength and happiness last, or will outside forces intervene?

Kim and Addison have given Koda and Thayleah's story everything I have come to love from their writing. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, emotions, friendship, and family ... it's all there to be taken in and enjoyed. There's danger in the form of a secret society, a titanic moment that had me biting my nails, and friends that show where their loyalties truly lie. I love it when KE Osborn and Addison Jane co-author books, SECRETIVE is no exception, and was a wonderful surprise. Kim and Addison bring together their two MCs, Houston Defiance and Brothers OF Blood, when Koda Walker and Thayleah Ryan meet at Stonewall University. Both Koda and Thayleah had suffered tragedy in their life, now was the time to find themselves and prove to those who love them most, that they could be more than who they appeared to be.
"You make me feel safe, Koda. I want you to remember that when you doubt who you are."
At fifteen Koda witnessed the murder of his parents. Then, he was taken away from the only home he had ever known by his older sister, to keep him safe. Now he's at Stonewall to grow up and prove that he is capable of making life decisions. But all Koda wants to do is return home to Houston and be given the chance to earn his place within the Defiance MC and gain his patch. Thayleah had an upbringing most people could never imagine, a mother who didn't care and the murder of her beloved sister. Taken in by the Brothers of Blood MC, Thayleah was finally able to learn what family was really about. Stonewall is meant to be a fresh start for her. From the moment they meet, Koda and Thayleah have an instant attraction, a chemistry that is undeniable and unavoidable. There's more though, they have a deep understanding of each other because of their similar backgrounds. I enjoyed the way their friendship evolved and how the trust between them was built with a natural progression. Would their relationship be able to withstand the pressures put upon them by their respective MCs and University life? I loved how quickly protection for Thayleah came for Koda, it was natural, instinctive, as if it were destined to happen. The encouragement, support and love they have for one another was endearing, it only made me love them more. Will their new found strength and happiness last, or will outside forces intervene?

Kim and Addison have given Koda and Thayleah's story everything I have come to love from their writing. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, emotions, friendship, and family ... it's all there to be taken in and enjoyed. If you’ve ever found yourself meeting a character in the opening of a series that you ‘just know’ is going to eventually have one heck of a story of his own, well if so you know how Secretive was for me. We met Koda back when he was just a scared kid. He was the youngest brother of the then Prez of the Houston Defiance MC (brother to the now prez, Zero and of course Prinie’s his big sis). If you’ve kept up with the series you know when their parents were brutally murdered, Prinie took off with Koda to keep him safe and away from MC life and all the dangers that entails. But Koda longs to prove he is destined to follow his father and brother in a domineering, leadership role and that he belongs in the Defiance MC.

Koda is the kid brother of Houston Defiance MC president Zero and his sister Prinie. He is treated as a kid and kept away from the club - their latest move was to ship him off to college. There he meets Thayleah - a fellow student who is also tied to another MC club. However, behind the ivy-covered walls of his college Stonewall, there are many mysteries, lies and deceptions - many of them involving a secret organisation called the Scorpio Society and he ends up being right in among them working to document them down in order to protect himself and his girlfriend. Then a final twist comes out of the blue and no one was expecting it.
There are some fairly major happenings as part of this book and Koda definitely had to grow up and stand on his own two feet. Full of danger and drama, it was a joy to see him come into his own and be the responsible adult we all knew he could be if he was out of his family's protective environment. Easy to read and understand. I was definitely invested in the story and dying to know what happened next. The ending of this book is definitely a bombshell and I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series to find out what happens next.

Loved experiencing Koda’s journey to figure out what he wants and how to embrace the family legacy in the MC. Heading to Stonewall for college is a turning point. Meeting Thayleah at a frat party is his destiny. Thayleah is a survivor and found a family with an MC club in Arizona. Her dream was always to go to Stonewall which they made happen. At a vulnerable moment, she looked up and into Koda’s eyes and found peace. These two find a wonderful connection and as they work to build a relationship, Koda stumbles into the secret Scorpio Society which puts everything at risk. Will Koda be able to solve this mystery on his own? Will they be able to break away from the Scorpio Society games? I loved this couple and how they worked together to find their future. Hanging on a cliff with this amazing ending! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

I’m never disappointed when KE Osborn and Addison Jane put pen to paper. Secretive is the seventh title in the Houston Defiance series, and features several characters from The Phoenix Club Girl Diaries.
Koda is Prinnie and Zero’s youngest brother, and whilst he believes they treat him like a kid, and are quite protective, sending him to Stonewall is giving him the opportunity to experience life outside the club.
Once at Stonewall, he is introduced to Thaylea and their attraction and chemistry is undeniable.
Stonewall might be a prestigious school, but behind its walls lie mystery, intrigue, deception, and danger that Koda finds himself in the middle of.
Full of emotion, steam an intrigue I was completely captivated and entertained and cannot wait for the conclusion to this series with Survive.

4 1/2 stars. This story gave me backstory for two characters from previous books in this series. Koda and Thayleah met outside of the MC. An instant attraction, a kinship, and familiarity brought them together and being honest about their pasts with each other. Definitely hot together, they fell in love despite all the intrigue going on around them. I have enjoyed this MC family and this look into Koda and Thayleah's relationship. I highly recommend this story and the series if you really enjoy MC books.

Koda trying to prove himself to his brother Zero is going to Stonewall University where he meets Thayleah. Thayleah has not had it easy after her sister is murdered she gets a new home with Brothers by Blood going to Stonewall so she can get herself situated. These two meet and it's instant attraction, and from there they take off and give you the a read you won't be able to put down. It has a little bit of everything, emotions, action, life and death moments, steam, and suspense that will have you gasping with ending that will make your head spin. Holy cow did this read make my heart race, make me smile, and had me on the edge of my seat and I so can't wait for the next.

I have been DYING to get my hands on Koda’s story and oh my stars, I was not disappointed. My heart hurt so much reading this one with everything that had been thrown at this chapter of Defiance. The layers of twists that Osborn has woven within this series and this installment that is co written with Addison Jane, my heart is dying to find out how it will all play out. How these two authors interconnected this story between Koda and Thay was just beautifully done. What is killing me is the fact that we are coming to the end of this series. I am dying to get my hands on the next book and see how it all concludes!

I've read many books about the Scorpion Society and this one isn't any different. Koda and Thayleah are on a long path neither of them expect. Their love for each other will have to stand strong. Family and love for their club families is strong, but will it be strong enough. Can't wait for the final book to see how all this ends.

Wow, we finally find out what happened when Koda went to college and met Thayleah and Brady. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Koda and Thayleah together, they have ups and downs. But they always wanted each other. They go through a lot. And we see how they met.

I absolutely love this series and this book is another great book in the series. I love Koda and Theyleah, they have so much loyalty for each other and for their families. They will do anything to keep others safe. This story was highly intense full of suspense, just a fantastic book. I am so excited to see what happens next. Can't come quick enough.

Koda and Thayleah are fantastic characters that both have been through some serious stuff. They meet one night and sparks fly but can they make a solid go if it after everything?
K.E. and Addison did a fantastic jib with these characters. I enjoyed the backstory and then back to the present. There is a lot going on and you definitely don't want to miss out. I couldn't put it down from the start.
This does end in a cliffhanger because it's part of a series but it seems to be able to read without the others.

Secretive is book seven in the Houston Defiance MC series and is Koda and Thayleah's book. We got a taste of their story in The Elites Anthology and now we get to see what happened after the events that took place at Stonewall University. This book does end in a cliffy so keep that in mind. This book had so many twists and turns than I originally thought and I can't wait to read the rest of this book.

This was refreshing in that the male character is taken away to protect him, when normally he is the one protecting the women. While Koda had to grow up, I loved seeing his growth while being away from his overprotective family. The connection and chemistry he shared with Thay was amazing and I am now hoping we get more society stories after this.

I had not read the scorpio books but i am so glad to get the backstory on koda and thaylea. I read this book with every spare monent i had! I cannot wait for the next book! So far the Houston Defiance is my favorite chapter. Koda is finally coming into his own and now this? Wow.

I’ve patiently waited for Koda’s story, and I wasn’t disappointed. When he finally went to school he meet’s up Thay and then the story really begins and his stay at Stonewall Academy becomes a real mystery, A great read. Terrific writing by KE Osborn, with wonderful characters. I loved it!

Non stop action and passion in this mc book! You can’t help but get lured into the mc worlds of thayleah and koda! The backstories of these characters are intense and omg that ending!!! I cannot wait to read more!
