Not only was this such a satisfying story, it was also written beautifully to include a female character who is legally blind. Izzy was so sweet & Hitter was her protector from the moment he laid eyes on her. One thing about Jaycee Wolfe’s men is that they are alpha af, and they will literally yell “MINE!” when they find the woman who was made for them.
Hitter was so great to Izzy & I loved their dynamic together. One thing I know is that if a man designed a house to cater to my every waking need I would be a mess of happy tears. Izzy got everything good she deserved for surviving her stressful life & Hitter got an amazing Ol’ lady to keep him on his toes! I hope we see more of the women of the MC in future books & Im also so interested in Piper & Izzy’s dad’s story from here out. I need him to find his soulmate and a place to call home near his girls asap. This series seriously has me in a choke hold!

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a little longer than I like to read, but I really love this one!!!
Cason/VP/Hitter and Isabella/Izzy met when she is being held captive by her brother Hector. When the Reckless Omens MC go looking for Piper's Swifts Strike: Reckless Omens MC Book One father, Devin they come upon him and Izzy locked in cages. When Hitter approaches Izzy he knows that she belongs to him. Hitter finds out that Izzy is blind and it's her brother who's is behind everything. Hitter takes Izzy to the hospital along with Devin, when she is getting checked out she runs. Izzy finds out that the Reckless Omens were looking for her brother and even though he's blood she never loved him. Izzy was abused by her parents and when they died her brother took over. Izzy heads to the bus station after a woman helps her she heads to Florida. When Hitter finds out that Izzy left he goes after her catching up to the bus and taking her off. Hitter takes Izzy on the back of his motorcycle and it's the most freeing thing she's ever experienced. Hitter takes Izzy to the clubhouse and to his bedroom. Swift suggest that Izzy be checked out by Grim Grim's Gem but he refuses. Izzy sleeps for two days after the beating her brother put her through. When she wakes up she is introduced to Piper, her father adopted Izzy wanting them to be sisters. When Piper is released from the hospital they throw a welcome home party for her. Hitter and Izzy go shopping and he helps her buy new clothes, then he sends a message to Comp Comp's Chance to get Izzy a computer. While at the mall they run into an old friend of Izzy's brother Hector's. Hitter wants to kill the guy over what he did in the past to Izzy. Hitter promises to take Izzy out on his bike but it's been raining the last several days. The day is perfect for Izzy there's only one thing missing. When they get back to the clubhouse, Hitter takes Izzy to his room and he tells her he loves her she tells him she loves him. Hitter pleasures Izzy then they make love. The next day Hitter has to leave Izzy alone since he needs to take care of some club business. Then Hitter heads to the house he is having built for Izzy, he made some changes and wants to make sure everything will be done on time. When Hitter finds out that they aren't following the new plan to have an open floor he yells at everyone. While Hitter is out Izzy is going out of her mind, Piper comes in and asks her if she wants to get her nails done. Izzy agrees, her and Piper have been getting along and they both want a girls night out. When they leave the nail salon, someone grabs for Izzy, Piper attacks the guy. Hitter takes Izzy to see the home he is having build for her. After showing Izzy around their new home, he takes her to their bedroom where he pleasures her then they make love. A few days later, it's the club party where Swift and Piper announce they're pregnant. When it's Hitter turn he asks Izzy to be his old lady, then asks her if she'll marry him. Izzy tells him yes to both of his questions she finds out there's a tracking device in her ring. Soon they hear guns being shot, Piper grabs Izzy pulling her with her to the safe room. Izzy and Piper get separated, and she then tries to feel her way to the room. Izzy hears a familiar voice but can't place who it is but knows it's one of the Reckless Omens. Izzy gets help heading to the safe room and soon realizes it's Dread. When Hitter is taking out the men who attacked their clubhouse he sees Izzy with Dread so he takes off in their direction. When a gun is pointed at Izzy Dread steps in Izzy's way and pulls her up behind him. Dread is shot in the chest as they grab Izzy and take her. Hitter goes after Izzy but isn't able to keep up and realizes he has a tracker in her ring. The brothers head back to the compound so that Comp can figure out where they have taken Izzy. When they get the location of Izzy everyone heads that way, Hitter doesn't want to lose another brother so he heads in alone. Loki Loki's Luck and Swift try to stop Hitter but he takes Loki out. When Hitter gets to the building he heads inside and finds a woman on the floor, then sees Izzy struggling with a man holding her. Hitter tells the man there better not be a bruise on Izzy. The man takes Izzy up the stairs, when she distracts him he lets her go, but then she stumbles and falls off the railing. Izzy lands on her back on the floor. Hitter tries to go to Izzy but Loki and Grease Grease's Guide hold him back and Grim tells her not to touch her. Grim doesn't want to move Izzy in case she broke something. Grim and Loki load Izzy up in the van and they all take off to the hospital. As they ride to the hospital Hitter knows there no life for him if something happens to Izzy and will follow right behind her. Izzy tries to wake up several times, but she falls into the darkness, she hears Hitter and Grim talking but can't wake up. When Izzy finally wake up, she can see Hitter. Izzy asks about Dread but finds out he didn't make it. Izzy is checked over and finds out it's not uncommon for her sight to come back. Izzy finds out she's pregnant, and can hear the heartbeat and the baby is fine. Izzy knows Hitter will always be a part of her, she will always have love and support. Seven months later, Izzy's water breaks and she trying to get to the hospital. When Piper and Swift come over to see what the noise is all about Izzy finds out that her water broke also. Izzy, Piper, Hitter and Swift all head to the hospital and are put in the same room. Izzy has to have a c-section, after their daughter is out she tells Hitter to follow her. Izzy is wheeled back to the same room as Piper. Izzy find out Piper had a little boy, Bronx. While Izzy and Hitter name their daughter Jett after Dread whose real name was Jettson, after the man that saved them both.

Izzy is Hector Reyes’ little sister. She is blind. Their parents were cruel to Isabella and she is relieved that they died in a car wreck. Her brother is just as cruel and sometimes even worse than her parents. This time, Izzy was hungry and went to the kitchen. However, Hector moved the furniture around and Izzy fell. She goes back to her room and waits until late at night to go back to the kitchen. The house is quiet. She hears a woman screaming. She follows the sound and finds a special latch for a door that she did not know existed in the kitchen. Izzy makes her way down the stairs. She tells the woman that she will help them, but she is blind. A man with a calm voice directs Izzy to the keys and the woman’s cell. The woman grabs the keys and frees herself. Before Izzy can free the man, Hector comes to the basement. He throws Izzy in the other cell and locks the door.
Swift is President of the Reckless Omens MC. His Vice President and best friend is Hitter. They are after Hector Reyes because he tortured Piper, Swift’s woman, for the last two years. Hector has been a thorn in their side for many years. Hector tries to kill Piper. They find out from Hector that Piper’s father is still alive. This was the second book in the MC book series the Reckless Omens and it can be read as a standalone book. I'm not usually into the MC life but Jaycee did it the way I wanted-no club girls and it's a Brotherhood, a family that loves and protects one another. This was a nonstop action kind of book where it's not necessarily just bike chases but rather never a dull moment as the family adds one more special lady into the mix.
She came from a bad family, one where they didn't even love her and she was saved by this group of good men. The VP falls fast and hard and she does too, finally getting her own happiness.
She is so strong. She came from a cruel family and I feel terrible about that. The help she had warmed my heart as well as the acceptance she found with them all. I love the connection she shares with Piper's dad and Piper and I was so happy the man was alive! The club is made up of solid men and I loved them all. I felt terrible at the loss they all had but am happy for the good moments. A great read that is emotional and loving.

Good
This was a really enjoyable story. Cason meets Izzy when the are on a rescue mission. She has been kept prisoner by her brother she is scared but happy to finally be free. They both feel an instant connection to one another but Cason goes as slow as he can because of the trauma Izzy has been through. Even though she is blind she is strong and feisty. I was glad this story included a good epilogue featuring both Cason/Izzy and Hayden/Piper.

The minute Hitter sees the beautiful woman in a cage, he knows she is meant to be his. Izzy is the sister to a deplorable man who has been chasing after the MC Prez Ol' lady Piper, but now they have him and will make sure the threat against Piper is gone for good. Hitter's focus though is on Izzy, she thinks she is not good enough for him because she is blind, but Hitter could care less to him she is everything. With a threat still out there Hitter needs to protect his woman before danger crosses their path, will it be too late though?
The series keeps getting better. I liked Izzy, she doesn't see the strength she carries with in herself but Hitter does. Once Hitter sees Izzy is is all in, for a burly man he is as sweet as can be. Full of surprises and looking forward to reading the other characters stories.

Once again we have this instalove situation that I’m really not a fan of, and yet somehow in this series it works and I don’t hate it. I love another strong character though Izzy is more the silent strength. I like that since she is blind that Hitter just takes it in stride and really goes out of his way to ensure her comfort. However, beyond the instalove story, I thought her getting some of her sight after the hit in the head was a bit far fetched and predictable as soon as she hit her head. I guess good on the author to at least not give full sight back.

0.5 ⭐️ Listen, I’m happy for everyone who did have a great time reading it and who did like it, but unfortunately, I really didn’t enjoy this book in the slightest. The FMC’s pov was interesting to read and I think the author did a great job with portraying her feelings. I’ve also never read a pov from a blind FMC (or MMC), so that was really interesting. The writing style however, was a big BIG miss for me. Seriously, NO book should be THIS level of cringe. Because what do you mean the MMC got a semi 🍆 while looking at her?

Omg, I love this story so much! Izzy and Hitter are adorably sexy and sweet together! Living with the evilness that was her family, and blind to boot, Izzy shows just how strong she really is again and again. There’s no way the sexy and growly MC VP, Hitter, can resist her when he finds her locked up. With even more danger following them, the strong connection they share and the love blazing between them, they make their own wonderful HEA!

Hitter or Cason takes one look at Izzy locked in a cell and knows she’s the one for him. After he frees her it doesn’t take him long to get her to fall in love with him. But there are those who want her, to hurt her, to take her from him but Hitter will burn the world before he lets that happen. This is a fast paced steamy hot read great characters and well written. Loved it.

absolutely Loved
I loved this book. It is the second in the series and picks up where the first book ends. Hitter was there to save Pipers dad and he ended up meeting the love he didn’t know he needed. Ofcourse there ar twist and turns but this book is so beyond worth the read. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Jaycee brings us next.

Another heavy hitter
I love that Izzy did not let her disability and horrible upbringing hinder her from being a strong fighter. She accepts the love that Hitter obviously feels and displays for her. In doing so she finds a true family that lives and accepts her, moreso than her biological ever did... there's no comparison.
I love that Izzy did not let her disability and horrible upbringing hinder her from being a strong fighter. She accepts the love that Hitter obviously feels and displays for her. In doing so she finds a true family that lives and accepts her, moreso than her biological ever did... there's no comparison.

First time reading this author and I'm happy to say one of my new favorites. This book has so much action and sexy times but no extra drama, the kinda books I love to read. Loved the good guy characters the bad were definitely bad guys, one complaint the baddies that took Izzy never found out who they were maybe the next book will tell us.

Nice series!
I like this writer and this series of insta-love by tough, but tender guys. I was slightly confused by the end of book 1 and beginning of 2 not quite meshing on details of finding and rescuing Devin. Before hospital release, or after? Details drive me nuts! That being said, I will continue to read the next book.

Hitter & Izzy
Wow! Now that was action packed. And sweet and loving and hot. And funny. I love the prospects - they crack me up. Izzy is amazing and strong and totally deserving of being loved on. Hitter is a big, strong, alpha cinnamon roll! So good. I’m totally hooked on this series.

Izzy and Hitter
Izzy's family have all been nasty to her because they consider her blindness a weakness. Her brother locks her in a cell with Pipers father. Hitter come to rescue the father, and it's love at first sight, but it definitely isn't smooth sailing for them. Then there Dread, I didn't like that so much. Really a great story.

Hard fast instant, but with lots of sweetness thrown in. Izzy is awesome, and Hitter is sexy as hell. A great read. My only nit was the miracle “cure” at the end, the book and Izzy deserved better.
