The very 80's peachy-pink and turquoise colors on the cover of this book made me want to dislike it. But, turns out this is a great book on the basics of the more traditional styles of American quilting. Great illustrations, step-by-steps, and information. A perfect book for someone who already knows how to sew and wants to learn about the traditional style of American quilting.
