So Good
I have been missing suspense, drama, and angst in books lately. Glenna brought it.
Viking has liked Andi for a long while even though he never called after their first night together. Even though Andi liked Viking she was put off by him not calling, so she finds it off that he is pursuing her like he is. However their chemistry is off the wall.
Viking wants Andi to keep dating Justice a detective on the side to get information from him, however it backfires when Andi has no protection and something awful happens, and it districts Andi.
Let's just say "Justice" is served and gets what is coming to him.
I do recommend that you read the others in this series to better understand the characters.

Viking has been watching Andrea for a while now. She’s a friend of the club and a good friend of the VP’s wife. The one night they shared was nice, but not earth shattering like he thought it might be. He’d like another chance, but she isn’t willing to give it to him.
Andrea finds Viking sexy, and she wants him, but he’s not the man she should be with. The police officer that wants a date with her is the man she should be with. He’s stable, on the right side of the law, and has a good job.
I really liked this story. I’ve enjoyed all of the RBMC stories and the Charleston, WV are no different. Viking and Andrea are a great couple, and they have a strong attraction, but Andrea has a lot of body issues and isn’t sure that she’s the type of woman that he would want to see or have a relationship with. When they finally start seeing each other, it’s through a backwards way and Andrea isn’t sure that they have a chance. Viking has been tasked by his president to find out what they can on the cop that has shown an interest in Andrea, but he’s torn with the plan. He’s finding that he really does want Andrea. These two will have some rough patches to overcome, danger, and tragedy before they will find their HEA. I give this story a 5-star review and am looking forward to more of the RBMC books.

Pretty darn good. I love this authors writing. She can put all the dirty details together with club action and a good story and you have a great book.
This is Vikings and Andi's book. Andi is Willa Mays best friend and she's got some self esteem problems. She's tall and has curves and a tiny bit of junk in the trunk but she's not fat. A one night stand with a hot alpha biker who never calls her gave her the self esteem problem. Maybe he had a different reason why he didn't call humm? Guess she'll have to find out.
Someone else is looking to date Andi and the club needs information. Can Viking handle her dating a cop for the club or does he want her for himself? Mean while some women are disappearing and then found in the clubs dumpster.

I’m obsessed with this authors Royal Bastards series. It’s a true obsession! I feel anxiety waiting for the next book, I think the characters are real and I have a true love/hate relationship with all the things that happen to them.
I love Viking and Andrea. He is an unrepentant,misogynistic a$$, but when he CLAIMS, he claims. He eventually tells his club, his woman is important and stops the madness. It’s a bit too little, too late, but they find their way.
I wish the whole reading world could find this series. It’s just so engrossing and engaging.

Andrea and Viking make appearances in previous books in this series and I was looking forward to their story.
I was was wondering as I read this how was Glenna Maynard going to redeem Viking. Ok truth, I wonder that in most of her books. She pulled it off. If you like a Biker story with 0 OW drama, (OW drama is my jam too) you will enjoy this read. Glenna Maynard is a one click Author for me

I’ve been following this series from the very beginning and the books have created such an anticipation for Andi’s and Viking’s story. I know after reading Murder’s and Alexa’s story, these two were my next IT couple! 😊 The build-up towards their budding romance was one in particular that this series gave the biggest, most juiciest teasers to that their story was a long time coming.
This story is laid-out with time lapses along with a ton of character crossovers from the previous books in the series. Events and developments that occurred in those books are most certainly mentioned, but it doesn’t go into in-depth detail. I need to re-iterate the author’s recommendation for readers to read this series in the suggested reading order. Yes, you can technically read this book as a standalone but I can tell you now you won’t experience half of these characters’ existing world-building if you skip-out on the rest of the series.
It’s fast-paced storytelling and a relatively short read, having easily read it in one sitting. And partially because of this reason I did feel like it was somewhat rushed through. I would’ve loved to have seen a deeper development to their relationship and much further character growth from both protagonists. The timeframes also played a big role in a slightly choppy and abrupt narrative, and not as weighty as say previous books in the series, like Lady & the Biker and/or Tempting the Biker. I had hoped for a few more chapters to really emphasise Andi’s and Viking’s love story. Whilst there’s undoubtedly genuine chemistry and entertaining interactions between the two, they also go through an emotional life-changing event that I couldn’t help but think needed more time to develop and sink in (emotionally) before it all concluded.
Please note, this story contain sensitive subject matters that may be triggering for some readers such as, strong violence, sexual assault, and trauma resulting from certain events that occurred within this book. Intended for readers 18+ only.
But despite all that, I still very much enjoyed reading this book. It doesn’t disappoint in keeping suspense, having spicy romantic elements, and still feature plenty of the MC.
Andrea and Viking are a truly likable pair and a wonderful addition to an already existing cast of couples in the series. I look forward to seeing them make appearances in future books. Viking is one helluva catch! In my opinion, an ideal biker hero—a tough, alpha outer shell with an ooey-gooey affectionate filling! Andi is a relatable, warm-hearted heroine. I resonated with her as she struggled with her insecurities— which I’m sure a lot of other women could relate to too. She gave such authentic vibes as she navigated through her emotions and thoughts concerning Viking and the complex situation she’s found herself in.
Overall, an addictive and punchy MC romance read. As I mentioned earlier it’s a little on the shorter side for a full-length novel, but Andi and Viking brought on a level of swoon-worthiness that had me happy sighing! A much anticipated romance between a badass biker and the curvaceous woman that has him completely and utterly hooked. 😊😍 Not to be missed. Such a good guilty pleasure read!

Viking & Andrea An RBMC 🖤 Story
Glenna Maynard presents another great book about the Royal Bastards. She got me totally engrossed from beginning to end! The world build in the life of these bikers is great and as I read the books I imagine myself in there. This storyline is very strong with very tough situations that will make you feel it deeply inside pulling your heartstrings. The ☠️ characters are vividly portrayed and those names, the biker appeal, the chemistry, the hearts that beat with good intentions beneath their tough exterior make me palpitate. The strong women who deal with them and the hard life is very empowering. This book has tons of 🔥🖤, action, drama, hurt, loss and relentless perseverance that makes a reader addicted to the Royal Bastards books. I highly recommend this well written page turner to all MC aficionados. You will not be dissapointed. This author’s imagination is amazing and she weaves these stories impressively. Kudos.

Absolutely Loved It!!
Good vs Evil are the men in Andrea’s life. She gets near the evil because her BFF is married to the VP of the RBMC of WV and frequents the clubhouse for various occasions. Viking is every bit the bad boy and has eyes for Andrea but totally messes things up when they have one night together and then never calls her back. Now for the supposed good is Justice a local detective who looks clean on the outside but there is something more going on underneath the good boy detective.
This author always kills it for me with her writing. I love Viking and all the alpha that goes into making her biker men so swoon worthy…no matter how much that act like a douche sometimes. Also the way Andrea was able to recognize her worth, thanks to Viking, made him sit on a pedestal in my view.
Totally killed this book and I highly recommend not only this book but all the other MC books this author has given us.

Claiming the Biker is an exceptional story. Filled with thrills, heartbreak, anger and some laughs that will have you craving for more!

I spend most of this book with my heart in my mouth, waiting for things to go tits up! And when it did, I cried!! Not going to lie, that gutted me but what a freaking read!!

Claiming the Biker is here and it was a fast paced ride that I really enjoyed. We have had glimpses of Viking and Andrea in the previous books and now it was time to see how their story would develop. I loved how intense Viking was he really was a caveman where she was concerned. I couldn't help laughing at some of his actions to prove that Andrea belongs to him no matter how inappropriate some were. The chemistry is red hot which leads to some very passionate scenes. I enjoyed the pace of the storyline with the danger of the club business sitting neatly alongside the new relationship. I liked that over the course of the book Andrea grew in confidence and that Viking encouraged her to see the sexy vibrant woman she is. It was good to catch up with Wylla and Hazel who are the friends you want on your side. As with the previous books we get a love story with just enough MC business to keep me happy and lots of humour between the guys.

OMG, this book was and is everything you've heard about. I read it straight through, we met Viking and Andi throughout the series, their sparks is all over the place whenever they're around each other. As always them bikers are jerks, and Andi already having self-esteem issues makes it hard for her to trust Viking's love is real. With danger all around, it makes you wonder if they'll make it, but with Viking, he won't give up. Author Glenna did a wonderful job with Claiming The Biker, Andi did an extraordinary thing that I love a lot, she walked away from the love of her life to better herself. Not everyone would've done it, some would've ran straight to Viking but she didn't, she chose to put herself first knowing she would lose Viking forever. This book may have been titled Claiming The Biker but to me it was Choosing Andi and I'm here for it, now I'm wondering what am I going to do after this book, is the next one ready yet? Sorry, I had to put you on the spot Author Glenna😏😈

Most Excellent! I have followed the RBMC Series from the very start and I swear the chapter series just keep getting better and better. This is very true with the Charleston, WV Chapter and Viking’s story. Ms. Maynard gave us a well written book with lots of suspense, action, heartaches and romance. It also has strong leading characters both in Viking and Andrea. Viking is a hulking biker who lives for the club and his brothers. Andrea is a nurse who is fun, sassy and finally learning to live in her own skin (you see she’s not a skinny minny - but has curves for days which Viking loves).
Viking pushes all of Andreas' buttons - both good and bad. But she isn’t sure she is cut out for the biker lifestyle like her BFF. But Viking doesn’t take it very well. Especially when things start to get dicey and trouble finds their doors.
This is an exciting read with lots of heat, chemistry and fun times. It also has moments that will rip your heart out. But Ms. Maynard handles things with a kid glove. I highly recommend grabbing this one up as well as all the Charleston, WV RBMC books. You won’t regret it.

What’s not to love about this dirty taking, bad ass alpha biker? He’s got it all and then some. I have over every installment of this amazing series and this one is no exception!
You will definitely enjoy it more if you have read the previous books! You take a journey through some of the precious books with a different view and it’s so cool to see situations from the other side!
These two, Viking and Andrea are perfect for each other. Their journey is rough, rowdy, steamy and very bumpy, watch out for those stairs, but man do they give you a ride!!
This one packs a punch of emotions so be prepared!

Viking & Andi hooked up once but Viking didn’t call her again. Viking wants her and always takes what he wants & that is Andi. Once they get together it is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I don’t want to rune the rest of story but their is a part that was very emotional for me. Thank you for writing this story and can’t wait for Hound’s & Karma story. Please pick up this series if you love MC stories.

Kudos to Glenna Maynard for finally having Alpha Male, Viking, falling for the non virginal, larger than a size 8, kick ass woman, Andrea . Viking asks Andi to date Justice Masters, whom the club suspects to be a dirty detective. I didn't think I could love anyone as much as East but Lord Viking is WOW!!!!
Glenna woman you had me on the edge of my seat through this whole darn book. I just loved Andi since Wylla's book. She had this way about her that you just want her to be your bestie.
The chemistry between her and Viking holy shit snacks they were out of the world HOT...
I don't want to give anything, this book was amazing and I can't wait for the next one. I never want this series to end.

Viking has finally met his match. Andrea gives just as good as she gets. We've watched these two on the sidelines in other RBMC books, but now we get to see them up close and personal. Viking is the typical biker: tough and stubborn. Andrea is a nurse with a heart of gold who went there once, got burned and isn't sure if she wants to go back for another try with Viking, plus she's now dating a cop. Now that's a recipe for disaster.
I couldn't put this book down. It is a standalone. You don't have to have read the first 8 books in the series, but I highly recommend it because they are just so good.

Viking has found his one. Andi is a plus size girl with some body hang-ups. When Viking puts her on notice she doesn't take seriously until she has no choice do so. In the meantime there's a bad guy the club is after and Andi finds herself caught in the middle of it all.
I LOVED Viking's intensity! I LOVED Andi's attitude too. They are perfect for eachother.

WOW that's all I can say. I loved Andi and Viking. The love the cover and by the end of their story I loved it even more. There was a moment I wanted to not like Viking, but he quickly grew on me and I couldn't see him being with anyone else. My heart broke for them when she finally revealed what happened to him and I couldn't be happier for the way their story ended. I would've loved to have seen him in a delivery room lol and who knows maybe we will.

When Viking has his eyes on you there is no way you can resist! Andrea is independent, strong and loyal. When she thrown into an impossible situation by no other than Viking her world implodes. The story is emotional, gritty and a perfect continuation of this fantastic series.
I really loved the realistic way their first interaction happen. Thank you Glenna for giving us some true to life awkwardness and having the characters address them *standing o*!!

murder ,mystery ,devoted friendships, a cute puppy, crooked cops and a steamy MC love affair!! There are many cameo appearances from my favorite characters from previous books which I love.
for fans of the Royal Bastards this book is an absolute must-read!

Glenna Maynard has done it again with Viking and Andy’s story, this is my favourite so far in the series. We get everything in one book, hot alpha biker, and non push over h, crooked cop, suspense, cute puppy and hot sex. Viking and Andi hook up once, then he never calls, when he finally gets his s..t together they are explosive together. They have to go through heartbreak to get to their HEA, but they do. Looking forward to more in this series.

I have to say I didn't like Viking at the start, Andrea was such a strong person but not when Viking was involved. Then halfway through Viking finally won my heart.
