Your Mind Makes Thoughts Like Your Butt Makes Farts

Rate this book
A funny, gross book about mindfulness for kids.

Sometimes we have nightmares or fears, and anxieties can sneak into our day.
And when you’re a kid, you don’t understand these thoughts or what they’re trying to say.
But this book will teach you how to make friends with your mind—
instead of fearing what’s inside.

Your Mind Makes Thoughts Like Your Butt Makes Farts is unlike any other book about mindfulness for kids. With gross-out humor and hilariously disgusting illustrations, it will help kids understand that they don’t have to listen to everything their mind says—and realize that thoughts (like gas) will pass.

Great book with good illustrations.
Not sure what's up with the blatant name dropping in the author's bio.

Really great message of mindfulness and how we don't always have to believe the (negative) thoughts we have about ourselves. The running rear-end related commentary and humor will make this an entertaining book to share with kids!

Your mind is naturally full of thoughts. However just like toots those thoughts won't stay forever.
Kids will love the silly illustrations and the reference to farts. A quick lesson for kids to have anxious or depressive thoughts.

My sons, 9 and 6, said we should give this book 10000 stars and that’s the highest compliment I can imagine. A perfect tool to talk about mindfulness with young kids!!
