A really good overview of what is out there in terms of treatment beyond western medicine. While introducing each field and their role was done really well, readers should be cautioned about the lack of credentialing rigor for non-standard practitioners. Nonetheless, this would be my first step in determining how to best construct my care team in the future.

This book is out of date (1993!) but when I received it many years ago, it was a treasure of information. I love the variety of treatments and beautiful illustrations. It’s still a wonderful read - but not practical for health reference anymore.
