Rate this book
Deadly ingredients, earth-shattering recipes, and poisoned relationships abound in this tantalizing third installment of the Hex Kitchen series.

The culinary magic world is at war with itself. A murderer with a vendetta has taken control of the all-powerful Gourmands. The first step in his recipe for domination: kill all his rivals...beginning with Braxton and Kenzie.

New enemies are emerging from all sides, and the future of magic is at stake. Everything hinges on Braxton’s sister and her lover-turned-enemy. The problem is that Sofia is in jail, and Graham is being hunted by the police. They're the only ones who can end the bloodshed. But at what cost?

Culinary magic has never been more treacherous, but that doesn’t stop everyone from wanting a slice. The only question is...who will survive past their first bite?

An enticing and unique conclusion to this amazing trilogy!

-Big thanks to the author for the eARC-

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE PREQUELS IN THIS SUMMARY
With the murderer Rick at the head of the Gourmands, the world of culinary magic is in grave danger. The future of culinary magic is at stake, and as enemies gather from all sides, Braxton and Kenzie don't know where to start. But with Sofia being in jail and Graham on the run, things are even more complicated. Between treasons, magic and danger, they will have to do whatever they can to stop Rick from destroying everything.

As expected, this book blew me away. I can't get over how original and unique this series is! Stephanie really has a talent to create complex, fantastic worlds that I can't seem to get enough of. In this third book, the tension is even more present, with danger lurking at every page. It's darker than the others, death creeping around throughout the entire book. I was anxious for the characters during the whole thing and loved it. The story is full of twists and turns, unexpected developments and magic. But that's not all. There is also humor, romance and a lot of action that makes it impossible to stop reading. Everything is perfectly balanced and made me feel like I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. The characters are amazing, I really liked how Sofia and Graham were more involved in this one. We find out everything there is to know about the magic system as well and I was blown away by it. The conclusion was great and beautiful, I loved it. The writing style is still as addictive and smart as the others, and Stephanie is now definitely one of my favorite authors! I cannot wait to read her next books that I'm certain will be just as amazing!

I cannot recommend this series enough, for all fans of original fantasy and magic!

The name of this book is Bloody Delicious, and in my opinion, that sums it up. Both this book and this series. I loved these characters I think they're utterly fascinating, even the "bad guy" with, some deep seated and justified, daddy issues. They are all compelling and well written, of course. Kinsey, Braxton, their friends and allies will be hard pressed to save the culinary magic world from a madman who wants to see them all dead.
There are plenty of surprising and unexpected twists in the plot to keep a reader on the edge of their seat, magic, bloody battles, some suspenseful moments, and even a little steam. While I hated to see the end of this series, I thought this was a wonderful conclusion. Or is it? Fantastic book!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I loved the other series I read from this author, and this one was somehow even better! I loved all the different perspectives, and I was equally obsessed with each of the main characters. Grahm is such a gentle giant, and I liked how all the characters were working toward a similar goal while growing as individuals. The romance between Sofia and Graham was an adorable slow burn, while Kenzie and Brax were so steamy. I was constantly surprised by all the twists and turns, and the ending was so satisfying. I can't wait for more from this author!

Where to start. The food the magic the romance...I loved it all! Culinary magic that only works with food was such a neat concept. There was the perfect balance of action and romance. It was a page turner for sure, and I spent my whole weekend devouring every page of this series. I was worried that the plot wouldn't get wrapped up by the end because there was so much going on, but the ending was everything I hoped it would be and so much more. So, so good!

Wonderful book! Great to see more of the story unfold, and broaden the horizon.. so to speak.. These characters are becoming so real to me, and I somehow expect to see them magically appear one day..
