This was a cute and quick read from Lucy Darling.
Olivia works for her family’s bail bondsman company but longs to be out of the office and where the action is. So she decides to track down their latest fugitive which puts her and her best friend at a motorcycle club party. Jason is the president of the MC and is looking to make changes. But when he sees Olivia he is instantly smitten.
I love Lucy Darling’s OTT heroes. They are love at first sight kind of guys. This one was quite a stretch because the hero was the MC President but didn’t partake in the debauchery around him. This was quite the veering for this author with the bad boy and it wasn’t that realistic. But the writing itself was excellent.
I look forward to her upcoming books. She is fast becoming a favorite.

No OM/OW (unwanted attention from club bunnies, H shot them down immediately, and he was never interested in them) He always planned on making the club free of strippers and women, but it has been years an he hasn't changed that. Still he never indulged in the free women he could have had being club prez but never once did, and that is what matters to me.
There is one thing he said when he explained to our h that he isn't that type of guy, and he never was, but then he said, "I fucked up in the past, and I have seen the hurt a man can do to a woman". I think he was talking about his father cheating on his mother and how broken she was, and that he would never do that, plus he said later in the book that before meeting Olivia, he never thought much about sex, so very big plus!

I wanted Olivia more than my next breath.
I think I'm going to be in the minority on this one. I'm always anxiously watching for a new Lucy Darling book, but this one just didn't hit it out of the park for me. It's going to be a case of "it's me, not you". What I didn't care for...the club w**res, naked women getting it on with men and each other all out in the open. Ok so look, I know it's considered an "MC" or "MC lite" type of story and this is the "norm" but there are so so many of those types of MC stories out there and I was actually surprised and disappointed a little that Lucy Darling went that route. Again, that's just my feelings.
What I did like was the fact that the H said he never did partake in the partying or the women at the club. He actually wanted to clean the place up from when his father ran it. He clearly stated he never brought a woman back to his living area. He didn't seem like a virgin but he didn't seem like a MW either. But of course she was a sweet, innocent and somewhat shy virgin. Never even kissed anyone else. He was the normal alpha, possessive and obsessed H that Lucy Darling always gives us. There are no others after meeting, no abuse, some talk of drug addiction, h abandoned by mother, epilogue years later. I didn't love this one but I didn't hate it. I'll probably read Archer and Vee's story when it releases.

You know going in that this author excels at strong Alpha leads. They love hard and fast. No drama, no cheating, just a feel good read.
Her lead heroines are likeable, and you can envision them as your best friends.

Olivia & Jason😍
Struck Love will have you hooked from the first time Jason lays eyes on Olivia till they get their HEA . The way we got to read about both Archer and Jason feeling their worlds shift when Vee & Olivia stepped into the MC party was magical. Every moment from then on in the book was so good & I couldn’t put the book down till I finished! The characters were amazing and it was so fun to get those sneak peeks into their parents and siblings future relationship. I can’t get over how much fun I had reading this one!

Oh heck I loved this story😍😍😍😍 Jason the new MC president and his little sunshine Olivia. They met, sparks flew and nothing could stop Jason from claiming his woman 😍😍😍 An awesome start of hopefully a new series (🤞) with great main characters and more than a few new potential couples🥰🥰🥰 Sweet, safe, steamy, romantic with action and no real drama 😍😍 A MC romance with sweet men that are more like a family than a club, after Jason took over 👍👍👍 Can't wait for Vee and Archers story🥰🥰🥰🥰

Struck Love is book one in the Priceless series by Lucy Darling.
It's novella length, coming in around 138 pages. We meet our FMC Olivia who works at her dad's bail bondsman office. She really wants to get outside working out of that office so she takes on a job tracking down a fugitive which leads her and her bestie to a MC party. It's there that she meets our male MC Jason whom is president of the MC. It's insta-lust for him.
Apparently Jason isn't the typical MC guy.. he isn't interested in all the .. chaos around him like the others. I haven't read many of Lucy Darling's books before, but from what I gather, that's a tad different for her typical male characters.
I did enjoy her writing style and the characters. There was a lot of story in this novella overall! I plan on finishing the series.

Insta love, MC President alpha hero, adorable sassy virgin heroine, she tries to help her father and brothers but instead gets claimed by Jason as his. I feel like Jason is the most possessive out of all of them and also the most jealous AHHHH.

Hermosa historia corta de romance instantáneo entre Jason y Olivia.
Ambos me gustaron, pero sobre todo Jason, por ser tan protector y amoroso con Olivia.
Olivia es una mujer que quiere ayudar en la empresa de cazarecompezas de su familia, a pesar de que su padre y hermanos no la quieren allí.
Quiero leer la historia de Arch y Vee, ambos personajes me llamaron la atención y espero saber como terminan.
Los cuatro tienen una gran química y fue un instant-love por cuatro.

The reason h wanted to enter H's motorcycle club was hilarious; howerer, it all turned into romance once H spotted her. He was totally a sweetheart made readers almost forgot he was the president.

Struck Love was just the read I was needing. Olivia is a little feisty, resourceful, brave woman. Sneaking into the MC's clubhouse in order to apprehend a fugitive, she gets more than she bargained for. Now she has Jason, the MC president hot on her trail and determined to catch and keep her. Jason's plans were simple and didn't involve a relationship. But then a curvy woman shows up at his door and everything goes out the window and he couldn't be happier. This just hit the spot, it made me so happy. The bonus to this lovely story was Olivia's bestie Vee and Jason's right hand guy Arch falling in love at the same time. Double bonus, they are getting their own book. Talk about heaven, I cannot wait for it!

Jason and Olivia story was beautiful. I couldn't put the book down. Happy they pushed what others thought about their relationship aside and stayed together. I couldn't see it at first but they were clearly in love and the love was beautiful.

I love literature because I can just wave past the red flags and have my fun. 🚩👋🏻
I mean there were a bunch but since I know the Hero has the the best interest of the heroine at heart I can enjoy it.
And like the insta love is always a negative point for me but like:
“I’m already in motion, heading toward my future wife.”
That’s pretty attractive in a crazy way lol.
For me guys that go too fast either have something to hide or have no impulse control.
Of course it could be they are your one true love/soulmate and they may recognize you from a past life (but really what are the chances in that?)
Ironically for all the romance I read, I’m super skeptical of love. I never seen it work out in real life. Oh well, I still have hope… I guess that is where hopeless romantic comes from?
Anyways I didn’t like this one as much as The Beauty and the Outcast. Idk maybe was all the topless and crazy action going at the beginning. Ollie is a bit more sturdier that I am because honestly if this is where my man hangs around than he definitely ain’t my man.
Good thing he WANTED to change not ONLY because of her. It never works when it’s for the other person, mainly because it usually lacks genuineness and humans are creatures of habit. Which is a good thing that he also changed the environment around him. I know it is a hard pill to swallow but whatever we surrounds ourselves with tends to rub it off one way or another. The human mind is a lot more easily swayed than I would like to even think about (gives me the chills trying too figure what is programmed and what’s is not).

Then he meets Olivia when she tries to track down someone who jumped bail (her family are bondsmen and she wants to be taken seriously in the business). But the guy she's trying to catch isn't someone she should be around, especially since she's so innocent. Jason will be there to protect her though, even if her family disapproves.
Commentary: This one was okay. I'm not sure that I want an MC story from this author. I like the sweet fluffy stuff that she writes and also prefer that my MC stories not be halfway. Their friends Vee and Archer will be up next.

Not sure whether I liked this book or not.
I liked Jason and Olivia. Heck I even liked the side character and really hope we get books for Pink & Kane, Archer & Vee, and maybe even throw in the other brother and maybe Jason and Olivia's parents.
Jason may be the president of the Ravens MC, but he doesn't partake in the parties nor does he engage with the women who hang around.
From the minute he lays eyes on Olivia he knows that she is his.
I think what my biggest problem with this book is the lack of progressive attitude Jason had (I hope that's the right word). He's constantly mentioning how he never wanted to be the president of the MC because it's something his dad wanted. Yet he came back from the Marines to take over and talked about making changes and never did. I can only assume it had been a couple years that he came back before meeting Olivia and yet he sat back and did nothing to change anything within the club...but then he wonders why the older members don't seem to have too much respect for him and lash out when he does finally start to make changes to make Olivia happy and comfortable.

When I started this series, I was looking for a quick, spicy read. At the end of #1, I thought, "What the hell did I just read? Surely the next one will be better." Spoiler alert: It's not... It's the exact same book. Then I thought, "But surely they won't ALL be the same." Guess what? They are. It's four whole books of older guy insta-loves 20 year-old woman, guy gets dangerously possessive of her and takes away her free will, woman is into it, guy "breaks through her virginity" (yes, that's an actual line in every book),
I'm a-okay with repetitive story lines, but there was NO character variation between the books. The men and women are completely interchangeable, the men are skeevy assholes, and the women are simpering dolts. In every book, there is a variation of the line: "Does wanting her make me an asshole? Yes. Do I care? Absolutely fucking not." Ugh. Cringe.

A little Romeo and Juliet romance with an MC club heir and a good girl.
Lovely and entertaining with the right pinch of hotness. It has a sweet girl with a strong will who awakens the forever devotion of an ex-con, ex-military motorcycle club president. It's fun at first when she acts so innocent and nice, and he's slowly but gently claiming her in all ways to keep her as his old lady.
Then, it turns out to be this love story where they fight to be together against prejudice, family feuds, and bad men. I loved his possessiveness and how he protects her with all the strength of his power, working for redemption to deserve her.
Also, some other characters get their one happy ending. It was cute to see the changes in the MC club and the people who work there supporting each other.
