Detachment
Criminal behavior is found in the Oval Office. The President and Secretary of Defence push through an action which cause the capture of 12 Special Forces operatives and their death. The cover up began when the President refused to send an extraction team and left it to the SOD and his henchmen the clean up all the loose ends. The gang gets involved and are instrumental in bringing down the President and the SOD by going to Venezuela and only finding 12 corpses that had been hung and the bodies already decaying and putting together all the evidence needed to cause the President to resign and the SOD to be arrested for several treasonous acts and several counts of murder including Ima. Great but sad story. Love this author.

Excellent Brief chapter. Everything came together with the secret compound. Then IMA and FEZZ got close. Ian being one reason as IMA's son brought everyone and team together. Then the Moore issue shows up and they have to deal with that. Unfortunately Novak loses both sons and IMA is killed by Piper on behalf of Phillips . Then they get everything done to eliminate Moore and Phillips . The Boston Globe does a full expose with pictures and forces Moore's resignation and Phillips imprisonment. But Feez takes Ian and tells him about Ima. Fantastic chapter !!!! 10 stars plus !!! Thanks , Carl Clause by

This one is rough
This book has a scarily all too plausible plot, especially after what we’ve seen over the last several years. I enjoyed the way the author ratchets up the tension with the constant shifting between scenes.
The suspense is well paced in this book and we have a roller coaster emotional ride. There are so many things left up in the air at the end of this book that I am curious where the team will be taken next. There are some loose ends that weren’t tied up and I wonder if and/or how those may come back to bite.

Heartbreaking, Deception
Two new people have joined the fugitives. The plane out of Switzerland is at the deepest bottom of the ocean with Haeli's tracker. The new fortress is complete, except for Fezz's surprise. The group is getting antsy after so many months of no jobs to save the world. They can't advertise because they're supposed to be dead. Well, they do get a mission in a round about way. The mission doesn't go as planned more lives lost, more friends gone. Great job. Thank you. On to book 7.

Non-stop action
This is the best Blake Brier yet. A major commentary on the corruption of our government & the selflessness of Brier’s team. A heartbreaking ending but left me wanting more now!! I’ve already pre-ordered #7 even though I have to wait a year for the as of yet unnamed release. Write faster, LT!!

A Great Read
Intriging story. One thing I really like is Blake and Haeli’s relationship along with the rest of the family. Love the Jack Noble series too but always want a real relationship story with him and Clarissa so particularly enjoy this in the Brier series. Also noticing a parallel with Fezz and Bear. Still a story I enjoy.

my kind of writer.
Finally, a writer that does not either kill the female associated with the main character or turn her into a government prostitute.
I now never go beyond the relationship established in the book, without reading the last chapter to see if she survived. If she doesn’t, I delete the book.

Detachment
Book 6 finds Blake and his team introduced to a very dark story. This book has some happy moments with a tremendous amount of mystery and a look at the goings on in politics, which pretty much is probably true. I left this book very sad for the way it turned out, but it was still an excellent excellent book.

sad thought
Very interesting story once you get pass the political parts. I couldn’t put it down after the first half was over.
Give you a lot to think about.
My opinion is there were to many names involved to be a great story.
I would recommend it but only to keep up with the series.

This is another great book from theses authors. I have read all of the books in this series and they are all great. The story moves fast and keeps the reader interested and reading. The characters and action are all believable and are well developed. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.

No where as good as other books
Have read some of this authors works before so was ready for another good read. Didn’t work out. Characters never fully developed other than super good guys. Or super bad ones. Storyline weak and full of holes. Find something else to read.

Intense!
Though this is part of a series, it can be read as a one-off.
Lots of action and intrigue! With corruption at the highest levels, Blake and his team are hard pressed to get to the bottom of the problem.

A group that is not a group would best describe this unit as they flew through the issues presented by the highest level of evil in the USA. This could be a real story with modern characters and that made it so interesting.

Sca!e of ten for this one.
Excellent plot line and characters were believable. Flow of chapters was excellent and didn't have gaps between them to create confusion and loss of plot as some novels do.

Wish I had read the other books first
A compelling story. It is a bit scary to read because it isn't outside the realm of possibility. A must read but I do suggest you start with the first book.

This was tough read
The team really went through hell in this tale. Every time they got into a difficult situation they some how figured a way out, almost. There were some sad and shocking events and the story carried on. It was hard to put down!!!
