Pretty, Dark and Dirty is my favorite Margot Scott book and this one totally reminded me of that. So I loved every scintillating minute of Father Christmas.

Nobody writes better daddies than Ms Scott and Finn is definitely one of my favorites. Holy smokes I adore his filthy mouth.

I suppose if you want my opinion outside of the bedroom or jacuzzi or park … I can say that I loved the whole cast, especially Gran/Doreen/Dory.

I appreciated all the nods to Sharing Noelle.

I know Margot only writes shorter books but man alive, I really really wanted this one to be longer. Not because it felt unfinished, I just needed more time with this sexy couple.

Let me start off by saying on a scale of 1-10, I think Finn was a 4. If a man up and leaves you without even a word he can go suck an egg 🥚. However I loved our Herione !! She was a gangsta and she didn’t need that man however she wanted him. Sometimes I think we forget that it is more attractive to want a man than to need a man.

She wanted his love, affection,his time and his understanding. But she told Finn outright I am having this baby whether you like it or not.

This story had all the passion and slow build of a book 200 pages longer. It was fabulous and I am so happy I finally got a chance to finally sit down and read.

Father Christmas is a spicy and sweet novella. A perfect way to kick-start the holiday season.

Finn is Astrid's father’s best friend. After one hot, amazing night together, Astrid is not only left with her feelings but another surprise. Finn tries to stay away from Astrid. He feels like he betrayed the family. Now, three months later, and he notices the little changes in her physical appearance and hopes she will forgive him for being a coward.

Father Christmas is a hot little ditty, with daddy kink, age gaps, and a secret baby. It’s also sweet and emotional. I have to add, I love Astrid’s cousin, Leena, and their Gran. They’re such a hoot. As always, I am not disappointed and loved every word of this book.

Daddy in More Ways Than One

4.5 stars - A very steamy and delightful read. Turns out that Finn loves being called Daddy by Astrid, a young woman that he's known since birth. Things get a little complicated, not just because he was her father's bff or because he's twice age or because "oopsies, we didn't wrap it up". I won't go into details but Finn has some groveling to do.
When the begging forgiveness concludes, they also get very dirty, which makes all of the other parts worth it! 💜🔥

There may have been some misting of my eyes from some of the love that flows through Astrid's family. Very touching moments. 🤗💜

Another thing I like is that we get to see Noelle and her men from Sharing Noelle. There are small glimpses into their HEA.

Not bad of a book on the short smutty romance scale. Very sweet and cute, though one element that really bugged me was the whole book seemed a bit predatory. Like there was no way that even a little bit of grooming didn’t go on before Astrid turned 18. Like they continually referenced the fact that we was a grown man when she was BORN, but that’s not even the bad part. He would always say he loved her since she was born and sh*t like that, which was a bit uncomfortable but the line that through me off was this:

“Daddy’s gonna teach you how to suck his c**k, just like he taught you how to tie your shoes.”

I loved it! I adored Sharing Noelle so I’ve been dying to get another glimpse of that trio. Watching these characters try to figure out the nature of that relationship was adorable.

This book is total Margot Scott taboo! This isn’t just older man/younger woman. No. This is older man who basically raised younger woman. And she calls him Daddy.

This will not thrill some readers and if that includes you - avoid this book.

If you’re a Margot Scott fan it frankly shouldn’t surprise you AT ALL. The surprise on this one is that it’s a secret baby romance which isn’t her typical MO. I liked it though. I think it’s handled well. There’s a flashback situation and I don’t love flashbacks, but it’s a quick one that fits very well into the story.

This one is on the shorter side. I honestly prefer when she has more time to get into things, but when you’re looking for something quick, sweet, and steamy as all get up…this is a good book to pick up for sure!

The thing that lost a star for me was that I didn’t really love the hero the way I wanted to. I did and I didn’t love him. There’s this tension with him about the fact that this girl could genuinely be his daughter, but he only really considers it for like two paragraphs. We never really get that tension from him while in his POV. I’m really glad Margot just leans in to this taboo aspect, but I wish the tension could’ve lasted for him just a little bit longer.

Overall, do I recommend? Absolutely. BUT BE FOREWARNED. If you can’t handle the call me Daddy trope you will not like this book. She has other super tasty taboo options and I think a couple of them don’t use that trope. Start there. I highly recommend her, but if you don’t like call me Daddy you will not like this book. You’ve been warned lol

This book was a cute read with just enough Daddy kink and Dirty talk to make it Hot, Finn is her dad’s best friend and one hot night leaves Astrid not only wanting more but with a lot more than satisfied. I love when I can relate to a story. Finn's and Astrid's story is near and dear to my heart.
This is an age gap story. Finn was her fathers childhood friend. Finn has always been in Astids life.
So it came to quite a shock when the unexpected happens.

This Filthy Dirty Christmas novella series is the perfect holiday treat! Short, steamy, taboo, and just the right dash of kink- it's the perfect recipe for something erotically delectable. YUMMY!

This one is so many of my favorite tropes- accidental and secret pregnancy, large age gap, taboo attraction, virgin heroine, and a super possessive, over the top hero.

Even though it's short, I felt like we did get to know our characters, the steam is super sexy, we have a alpha but super swoony controlling hero and a sweet and innocent heroine who is just adorably innocent, and just the right dash of emotional tension. And the daddy kink element isn't too much, which was perfect for me. I appreciated having some Christmas fun and also the sweetness too. So far, my favorite in the series!

I absolutely adored Astrid and Finn as a couple regardless of their age gap. In fact, I think that's why I loved it so much. They complimented and balanced each other. I wanted them to be together and I rooted for them and their happily ever after. I loved how freaking swoony and romantic Finn was. Dang it, he's a luscious yummy holiday treat I tell ya!



Their story was so much fun to read. The chemistry was off the charts hot. It was so hot that I thought about sticking my head in the freezer to cool off more than once. Wowza!!



Some book favorites:

* I loved the humor weaved throughout the book. I swear I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading. Giggling made frequent appearances I might add.

* I loved Finn's naughty inner dialogue. Again, the witty humor was spot on brilliant!

* Favorite swoonylicious line: (Sighs loudly)
~ I’ve never felt so ashamed of my actions, yet so grateful for the consequences of my so-called mistakes.

* Favorite hilarious line: (This one never gets old, I'm still giggling.)
~ I throw on a shirt and tuck my throbbing "@#$&" into the waistband of my pants so I don’t put any eyes out on my way to the back door.

Finn was best friends with, and practically raised with Astrid’s father. He promised her father before he died that he would look after her and has become an honorary member of the family. He kept that promise until a few months ago. Now gathering for Christmas Astrid attempts to keep her baby a secret even from her baby daddy. Finn figures it out quickly and is happy, then one text accidentally sent to the family and the secret is out. Her mother doesn’t handle it well but her Gran steps in mediate and all ends well. I would have liked more of their relationship building but it was a well written, good, steamy Christmas read with a little Daddy kink (which I LOVE) Looking forward to more from this author and I am definitely going to go see if Noelle has a story.

I’m new to this author and would definitely read again! I really enjoyed this forbidden, dads best friend, love story. Finn was a big, strong, loving, caring, protective hero. He loved Astrid completely. They worked through their issues with her family together. The story was very hot and steamy and wonderfully romantic. The HEA was amazing! Fabulous 5 star read

Honestly each of Margot Scott’s daddy books get better and better, and even though this was novella length, the plot wasn’t rushed. And best of all you don’t have to wait til 50% through to get to the chili peppers as there are multiple scenes throughout the whole book. AND we get a cameo of Noelle and her husbands too! Love love loved it 😍

I love a good secret baby but through in a huge age gap and dads best friend and I am heeeeere for it!!!! I loved the connection that Finn and Astrid had even before their thoughts of each other turned into something more. Steamy, hot, and plenty of dirty to keep you going with this one!!
