She's worked professionally as a ember of the writing faculty of San Diego State University, Long Beach State University, and Irvine State University. I've always been a huge fan of Paula Detmer Riggs, but none of her books touched me like this one. I've read it numerous times over the years and would gladly read it again. Very touching story. The pain the characters feel rings so true and yet not overwhelming.
