This was a wonderful Christmas romance that involves a military man and his 'mission' to help out a buddy's sister. She had a verbally abusive partner and Diesel got to witness this in action. Of course, he steps up to the plate and their chemistry exploded off the page. This book is part of a multi author collection and I really enjoyed it. Now to check out some of the other books to the series ;D

This was a sweet read. Not as good as Bishop in this series but still cute and fun. He comes home and his friend asks him to check on his sister and put the fear of god into her boyfriend. However, when Diesel stumbles upon her, he decides to keep her. There is also a hint of fake relationship fun. A good read.

Welcome home soldier....he has one last mission which gives him a future he never expected
Codename: Diesel by Khloe Summers is part of the multi-author Soldiers for Christmas series. When Dominick "Diesel" Bower comes home after serving overseas the first thing he has to do is deal with Gary Vargas. He is doing this for his boyhood best friend and teammate Tim, who is still overseas. Tim is concerned about his younger sister Iris who is Gary's girlfriend, as Gary has not been treating Iris right. So with a stop at the bar Tim told him Iris and Gary go to on Friday nights he sees and overhears things that make him step in and not only get Gary to back down but he also takes Iris out of there and back to his parents house where he will be staying. When his mother sees Dominick and Iris together she gets the wrong idea and before you know it things have snowballed into a pretend relationship for over the holidays, sharing a bed together and then getting stuck in a ditch during a whiteout snowstorm. They both quickly realize that they have deep feelings for each other and there is no better time than the present, even with the recent circumstances, to go all in together. Now they will just have to tell Tim.
This quick and entertaining story was a fun read. It has a bit of several tropes mixed together with lovely characters, including Dominick's sweet and loving mother. Get ready for an ice cream filled snowstorm that will melt your heart.

Dominick is back home from being overseas and is doing a favor for his best friend. Iris has been dating Gary for a while and it seems like things are getting bad between them. She talks to her brother about it which causes him to worry while he is overseas. Dominick has been asked to check in on his friend's sister and when he does Dominick is happy with what he sees. Iris and Gary are in a heated argument at the bar and Dominick interrupts when it looks like Gary is about to do something he shouldn't. Iris ends up staying the night with Dominick and his family. This causes his parents to think that they are together. Sparks fly between them and its not long before they make their pretend relationship real. Will her brother be upset that they are together? Will her ex cause problems?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Back home from deployment in time for Christmas, Diesel has one errand to take care of before going home to visit his parents: help his best friend out by extricating Tim's little sister from a bad relationship. Iris has known for a long time that she needs to end her relationship with Gary, but during a night out on the town, she works up the courage and ends things. Diesel is there to back her up, and with nowhere for her to go, he takes her home with him to spend the holiday with his family. This is a totally heartwarming story that brings us into Diesel/Dominick and Iris's orbit. Diesel is heading home from deployment when his best friend asks him if he can check on his sister. Iris doesn't like the way her boyfriend Gary treats her but she doesn't know where she'd go if she left him. Diesel can't believe how poorly this guy is treating Iris it gets bad enough that he has to get in between them and he knows that after seeing Iris that he can't leave her here so he invites Iris to his parents house for the holiday. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this wonderful Holiday story to see what happens. I would definitely recommend reading this sweet and steamy Holiday romance.

This book is a part of the Soldiers for Christmas series and focuses on Diesel and Iris. Diesel is best friends with Iris's brother and is sent to look out for Iris after she sends her brother a vent email after an altercation with her boyfriend. When he sees Iris for the first time in years, he is surprised by how beautiful she grew to be and shocked by how bad her boyfriend is treating her. When he steps in for her when things get heated, he brings her back home to his moms house with him and they fall hard and fast for each other. I absolutely loved how gentle and caring he was and how he showed Iris how she should be treated. This was a great addition to the series.

Diesel (Dominic) is home and looking up his best friends sister. He's heard that she's in trouble. He finds her at a bar with her boyfriend who likes to boss her around and never gives her any support. Dominic ends up tell Iris that she can come home with him and his mother is over the moon. She sees grandbabies in the future. Dominic treats Iris with kindness, and telling her what a great person she is. There relationship is really fast and when Iris's brother Tim comes home he is happy that his best friend loves his sister. I'm so glad that this isn't another story about how his sister and friend have to sneak around until they can tell him. Merry Christmas Love. I thought that this was a really sweet book. Diesel and Iris were great together. I really liked the connection and the chemistry between these two. Diesel was only supposed to help out his best friend's little sister but he knew that couldn't walk away from Iris once he saw her. Iris has only had one relationship and it was not a healthy one but thanks to Diesel she can see what it really means to love someone. I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Khloe as a great author.

What a great book
Hero to the rescue, that's Diesel. He's returning to the states from an overseas tour to start civilian life but his best friend Tim asked him to check on his sister. He had been receiving emails from her about her boyfriend treating her badly. Iris has been with Gary for years but he's been changing into a complete jerk. Diesel was there to protect her. They end up falling in love. You'll have to read what happens. It's a very good book, you'll love Diesel's parents. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have. Written by Cindy :)

When Dominick/Diesel returns home from deployment he made a promise to his best friend to check on his sister but he never imagined he would fall in love with her. Iris was in a bad relationship but after meeting Diesel she feels things for him that she's never felt before. I loved how Iris felt safe when she was with Diesel and how she was just what he needed in his life. This is a short, sweet holiday romance with likable characters, insta love, steam, and a happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Diesel is doing his buddy Tim a favour by checking in on Tim’s younger sister. Diesel walks into the bar and finds Iris in an abusive situation. He removes Iris from the bad situation and takes her home to his parents so she has a family to spend Christmas with. A lovely heartwarming story. Diesel is protective over Iris. Iris sees what a loving relationship can look like and how safe she can feel. These characters have an instant connection with lots of chemistry that leaps off the page. This was the first book I read by Khloe Summers and I loved it!! Diesel is the perfect hero who sweeps in hoping to help a friend’s sister and gets knocked over the head with feelings. The chemistry between the two characters is just what your looking for.

This story was beautiful! I absolutely loved it! Diesel was strong, caring, sexy and kind. He rescued Iris to help her brother and got so much more than he ever dreamed of. There was romance, instalove, amazing chemistry and some hot and steam parts. The epilogue and HEA was wonderful

Absolutly loved this story about a soldier who is home for Christmas. Diesel is home for Christmas and promises a friend that he will check in on his sister. He end up rescuing her instead and the sparks fly. Diesel and Iris are perfect for each other in every way!
Gives you just what you expect from s Khloe Summers book... plenty of sparks, steamy scenes and HEA garenteed.

Her Hero ~
I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked the background, starting the story. It was written thoughtfully, with an understanding that was heartwarming. It’s hard to see how bad a relationship really is, while you’re in it. But the unexpected love they found was sweet, and very much mutual. Loved the epilogue!
