I really enjoyed reading this book. Action packed and full of unexpected turns, it keeps you reading to see if Nicole, Tory, and Waffles can make it out alive. Strong and determined to escape, they go through so much. I love that they help bring clarity and faith back to each other, whether in mankind or God.

This book had some lovely visual reading. However, I felt like this book got to a point where it dragged on. Words were repeated more towards the end and the ending was rushed. I thought that one of the leads that was a trained dog was very cool. His name was waffles and it just fit so nicely in the storyline.
A romance blossomed slowly through the book, but I wouldn't read this book for romance. It was more of a cat and mouse chase. And the hunt for treasure!
