This book is super helpful for laying the foundation for growing as a Christian. It encourages you to study the Scriptures more, to grow your relationship with Christ through prayer and studying the Scriptures, and to share your salvation with others by praying for them and sharing your testimony with them. It also has you memorize a verse each week, teaching you to fight against temptation through memorizing and reciting the Scriptures.

Favorite Quote: (P. 13) "How would you feel about talking to your father if he were not only your best friend but also the most perfect father in all the world? ... He knows all about you and loves you just as you are. He is eager for you to talk with Him just as a child would talk with a perfect, loving, caring father."
