The Old Man- Living a long time can have unexpected wrinkles- in more ways than one.
Long Shot- After a nuclear war that leaves the Northern Hemisphere in shambles, American leadership wants the Russian who started it to pay. There’s a small problem- only the Navy has the reach to complete the mission after so much of the U.S. and the world has been destroyed. Can the ships and planes of the fleet get the job done?
Damage Report- In the universe, intelligence may have a lot going against it. Technology puts ever more power in the hands of individuals, no matter what species they are. The wisdom needed to survive comes at a price, and there may be few who can survive the cost.
