Binge read 4,5 and 6 so had to go back and recap the chapters. Starts at Monster extermination day 4, meeting new adults to dazzle and setting up the laundromat, ends with Ryoma getting his first employees. Ryoma really is the jack of all trades, the shop building is the most impressive thing he's done so far. The opening party was nice, all Ryoma's helpers gathered in one place. Finally Gordon finds out about Tekun's blessing. Gonna leave it there this month. Already went overboard.

I'm really speeding through this series, so beware extra spoilers since I might not remember exactly what happened in which volume!

I like this volume more than the previous. It was interesting to find out the impact of the previous reincarnators from earth. Although becoming a saint and being able to heal was a blessing, and she was truly benevolent, in the long run it negatively impacted the world. Although getting rid of most disease was positive, dependence on her for miracles grew, and medical knowledge regressed or disappeared altogether. I liked that the author considered those factors, that not all “good” things are necessarily all good, they have downsides as well.
Since the gods choose a random person to transfer, it makes sense that they would be of vastly different skill and capability levels. That some lacked knowledge or drive to bring changes is fine, they didn’t come by choice, no one said they had to change the world. It’s too bad that the original Saionji wasn’t able to get okanomiyaki to catch on, but his ingredient shop lives on, so Ryoma can bring great cuisine to this world 😂

I really love the LN and the Manga for this series. The audiobook for the series gets better in about volume 3 or more. I didn’t like the narrator’s children’s voices in the early ones but it got better. The anime series was decent but the two main characters faces were a bit exaggerated and they had no visible teeth which bothered me for some reason. All in all, this is a delightful series to read in manga or LN form.

By The Grace Of The Gods reaches the sixth volume of the manga.
I will reiterate what I said before about this series; the art is adorable. The premise of the series could dissuade people, where the main character is a "Gary Stu," but I find it relaxing. Ryoma Takebayashi coasts through his second life as an eleven-year-old boy; he doesn't encounter any real challenges or problems.
We finally reach the part where Ryoma opens a laundromat, but first, he needs to buy land, pay taxes and assorted fees, and construct the building. We encounter new characters from the Merchant's Guild and learn that any living thing can learn skills and techniques.
The author reveals a plot point where the gods visit other worlds for fun. It won't come into play quite yet, but this is important.
The laundromat opens, Ryoma makes several business connections, and then holds a party to celebrate the store's opening. All told, Ryoma makes food and drink for 29 people. Last but not least, Ryoma meets his new employees. Mr. Morgan recommends them, but they don't realize how awesome Ryoma is until they hear of his feats.
Finally, the end story discusses the twin employees and how they felt going into Mr. Morgan's main branch. It adds some depth to those characters. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.

Very good ,fun!
I enjoyed this because of the simplicity of the stories. It doesn't get very complicated and it stays within a wonderful comfort zone. I give with a 4 out of five. I can't wait to read the next one.
