I must admit that Draco is not my favorite character, and I still wasn’t convinced by the end of the first book. That’s how I went into this book. First, though, this book pretty much started where the second one ended. I’ll have to be a little vague as I don’t want to spoil the first book. Yana is now stuck in an uncomfortable situation, and she spends her time trying to get out of it. When she does, things aren’t that much improved. This was a wild ride with each character coming to grips with the person they are now mated to. I feel much better about Draco than I did, but I still am not sure I’m convinced. This was a well-written second book, and I’m excited to read the third. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I liked this clever twist in book 2 in the Royal Blood Saga. I wont give it away but just to say that it gives both Yana & Draco a rare insight into each others backgrounds and what its like to be one another. It also showed Draco in a slightly different light which after all that hes put Yana through in book 1 and the beginning of this book it was needed i think. I also liked that we got more focus on growing Yana & Draco's tentative relationship in this book. Its definitely picking up the pace now and im really enjoying it. Its a great read

Eh

This one seemed to drag a bit. I don't like the wishy washy and though the body swap was cool it was hard to follow. I liked the dude more and the chick less.

I'm warming to Draco a little more in this book, both he and Valentine are showing another side to both of them. Draco a more caring side, and Valentine a more ruthless side. I know he was a little ruthless in the previous book but in this one, it's a whole other ball game. I was super excited to see my favourite feline too, I adore him!

Book two of the Royal Blood Saga starts off where book one ended and Draco was as bad as he was in the first book, but as I said I started to warm to him a little more in this one. There's some fun twists and turns in this book and getting to see the character through a different set of eyes.

Really looking forward to book three.

Wicked Vampire Mate is the second book in Bella Klaus's Royal Blood Saga series and I absolutely devoured this book! In comparison to book one, this one is not going to let up, and brings a lot of character development that I absolutely ate up!
Wicked Vampire Mate picks up where book one left off. Yana thought she had finally gotten a leg up on Draco, but he shows her that he yet another trick up his sleeve. Now, they have switched bodies and Yana is inside Draco's body and being sent to the one prison that would be impossible for a vampire to break out of. Good thing she still has her witch's abilities. But while Yana is locked away dealing with the dangers of prison, Draco is out in the free wild reshaping her life -- in ways that she won't totally be pleased with. The goal is still the same with Draco though, get out of Logris and away from his nephew, King Valentine and Mera, his soon to be wife.
The chaos in this book is both hilarious and frustrating. I have to say though that I love that Yana gets a better understanding of not just vampires, but more importantly, Draco. She begins to soften toward him and I really like that. The twists in this book are so good and really kept me page-turning and eager for more. Draco really is an idiot half the time, but it just goes to show it takes a lot to get rid of the "old you." He tries though so he gets some credit. LOL!
I had a lot of fun reading this book, and it was honestly a lot easier to get into. I still think that there are some missed opportunities to really fill in the blanks as to what happened those years ago when they first met, but hopefully, we'll get that sooner rather than later.
I'm choosing to rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. There are times when the sequel trumps the first and this one does just that. If you enjoyed the first book, don't miss the second. If you struggled with the first and wonder if you should continue -- give this one a chance. I think you'll like it. a

This one was a wild ride!

I don’t read many books that have as many unexpected twists as this. Following on from the previous book in the series, Vampire Bites, Iyanna Torchbearer has had her soul switched with her fated mate, Prince Draco Sargon. Now in his body, and he in hers, Iyanna is forced to serve Draco’s sentence in prison.

Draco, in Iyanna’s body, smuggles in contraband during their conjugal visits with instructions as to how to escape. Unfortunately, Draco has many enemies in jail that Iyanna is unaware of, and they will do everything possible to ensure she doesn’t get out alive. But even if she does, how will she and Draco switch back?

The world building progressed in this sequel, but the biggest developments were for the characters. Iyanna has been stubbornly clinging to her religious ways since the beginning of Vampire Bites and before. But as she learns more about Draco’s past and who he really is behind the vindictive mask, she can finally begin to accept her fated mate, and leave her old life behind her.

A completely unpredictable story throughout, I never knew what was coming next in this book. The world of Logiris was built on a little more than in the last book, and we start to learn how the world ticks in more detail. The magical possibilities are endless and it’s fun to know that something unexpected is likely to happen, magical or otherwise.

Well written, with great emphasis on characters, and an action-packed story with plenty of spice, Wicked Vampire Mate is a fantastic continuation of the series. Looking forward to the next one!

A thoroughly exciting read!💫🩸🖤

Goodness gracious does our gal go through the wringer in this book!!! Picking up right where book one left off, we find her trapped in Prince Draco's body and forced into a supernatural prison for his crimes.....WTF?! That's just the first few pages 😂. Suffice to say there's a whole lot more twisty turny, delicousness within these pages. Of course there are steamy moments, but also oodles of adventure, intrigue, snarky and witty comments, pop ups by King Valentine and our fave Phoenix and so much more. This book has fight scenes, betrayal, huge reveals, and amazing backstory you never saw coming! Yet again there's a massive cliffy leaving the reader screaming for book three, but I have no doubt it'll be well worth the wait. I for one can't wait to read it 😉.

Aaah...so good! Hated when it ended. Thank heavens for book 3!

I am so addicted to the continued Royal Blood Saga. In book 1 you meet a horrible ancient vampire named Prince Drakonius or Drako. He is over a thousand years old and fought as a soldier in his father's army. He kidnapped Yana who was a nun who turned out to be his fated mate.
In book 2 Drako has switched bodies with her and she is in prison doing his time. He has told her that since she has the power of being a witch and a quick brain she can find a way to break out.
These 2 share a mental bond so they can communicate with each other.
Oh the things they get up to is intense. The bond between them gets stronger every day even though Yana doesn't think she can trust him yet! It ended in a cliffhanger. So ready for book 3. Enjoy!

When I tell you that this series just keeps getting better and better. Draco is still the vampire you want to love and hate all at the same time. Poor Iyana is just going though it you can't help but feel sorry for her. Still with all the twist and turn, steamy encounters, intrigue, and action to keep you hooked from beginning to end. Not even the cliffhanger can kill my excitement on see what else is in store for this series. As always my review are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are com

Second book in the series but you must read the first book to truly get how wonderful this story is and to avoid spoilers. This book starts off right where book one ends. Yana’s soul has been swapped with Draco’s and is being arrested. From there her life will get even more insane. Get out of jail and switch bodies. But to do that she will have to trust the enemy. So many twists with amazing results. I love the world the Ms. Bella has made. The characters are so amazing and you will love them and/or love to hate them.

Took a turn toward redemption

Yana, a Sister of the Temple of Light, has tried to rid herself of Prince Draconis, vampire prince of New Mesopotamia, since e has come back into her life. As the story progresses the plan backfires, a new solution is sought, and the threat within could be more dangerous than the threat faced outside. Bella Klaus took a turn toward redemption in Wicked Vampire Mate. Well, maybe it’s closer to a quarter of a turn seeing as how Draco just can’t seem to keep digging himself deeper into trouble with Yana.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Wow Lyana really has it rough for her. She just wanted a Simple life of seving her godess but things really didn't horas She wanted. She is excomungeted from her order and gets in prison in Draco's body doing time for his crimes. We get a lot of back story that explains a lot. Some steemy scenes and a lot of things yet to be explained! Such a big cliffhange. Looking forward to read the next book.

Well, Yana & Draco are still in limbo.... The tension between these two is WOW, we always laugh at what it would be like to be the opposite sex for a day but NOT FOR THIS LONG and not with all that is happening. I am still not convinced of Draco and his true intentions but I know ultimately Yana is strong and as a strong young woman she will prevail! Right? Won't she? Or will she succumb to Draco and the Mate Bond?
Insert Evil Laugh.....
Another great read, now on too the next!

So this picks up right from where book one left us and it’s every bit as addictive as the first! It’s full of action, intrigue, surprises and twists and turns to keep you hooked. Draco well we love to hate him or do we?? And Iyana is strong and snarky and the steamy moments are hoooot! Phew! We get some backstory, we get some betrayal, secrets are revealed and the fight scenes are incredible and once again I found myself hooked and unable to put it down!

Book 2 in Klaus' Royal Blood Saga series. More thrills to be had with our main characters Draco and Iyana. Exciting and clever twists. Well written with great story line and flow. This should not be read as a stand alone but rather as a part of the series. Ending is a cliffhanger which will have you eager for more!

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Book two in the Royal Blood Saga series and we see our FMC Yana and MMC Draco get a rather interesting insight into each other. This really makes you get a real deeper and fuller feel for how they really are and I really loved this twist in the story. The twist also helped to develop the relationship between the two and the steamy scenes phewww they were hawt. The cliffhanger ending once again will leave you wanting more.

I’m so glad this book picked up right where the first one left off and things are getting seriously intense with this book. I couldn’t put it down from the moment I started it. The characters are getting even more real feeling and I need the next book! I am loving this series so much! And things are changing for these characters not always in ways they want. I love this world and the plot! I can’t wait to see what is going to happen next!

Wow what a read, and very different. Getting perspectives from both characters was good, and gave Yana a chance to see the man behind the vampire, but betrayal seems to be heavy in their supernatural world, what will happen next?
Great story and plot, the characters are good. I enjoyed the change in characters giving us alternate views of Draco and Yana. Still lots of angst, and the love scenes are heating up. Some serious moments, and some scary scenes, but overall a great read.

Iyana finds herself not only excommunicated from the order she loves, but also in prison in the body of Draco. Can Iyana find a way out? A way to switch back into her body? This book follows her journey and struggles to achieve the freedom she craves from Draco. Well written with lots of world building and plot twists makes the story not only interesting, but hard to put down. Enjoy!

Brilliant

Wow. This was a heavy read. So much happening to them both including imprisonment. Yana and Draco learn a lot about each other in this book about the past their lives and personalities. But does that guarantee a happy ending? Will king Valentine condemn them to a harder life than the one they already live?
Book three promises even more drama I can’t wait.

I enjoyed this one more than the first! Yana and Draco go through a lot in this story, growing and adapting to the endless curve balls thrown at them - both created themselves and also by others.
A twisty, intriguing read, one I didn't want to put down.
I can't wait to read book 3 and see how (if) these two will get the ending they deserve.

Wow. Series is getting better and better. This is book 2 of the Royal Blood Saga. And again. Wow. Draco kind of still rubs me the wrong way. Love Iyana though. Storyline is phenomenal. Picks up right where book 1 leaves off. Just can’t get enough of these characters. I need book 3 asap. Definitely recommend.
