the people who wrote this were pretty salty, you could definitely tell which actresses were their favorites vs. ones they didn't care too much for. i also wish they went into more detail about the actresses before they were famous, and behind-the-scenes information, instead of just listing their 5 most famous movies and inevitable downfall, which got old so fast, literally every entry ended with "and then they got older and nobody cared about them anymore and they were reduced to guest starring in an episode of television every 5 years." i know old hollywood (and hollywood in general) isn't kind to aging actresses, and that is usually how things went down, but it was SO redundant in the way it was written about. there were some great photos though, and i did love seeing my favorite actresses, and it was a relaxing weekend read, so that's that.
