2.0 stars.— Although the author is very intelligent and sincere, I did not enjoy his style of writing or how he interjects very short portions of his near death experience into mini-sermons and things he learned. I have read a number of these types of books and this one was not as inspiring to me. I noticed a lot of great reviews but based on the writing style and lack of NDE content I’m stretching to give it 2 stars

If you want to understand the heart of God and imagine what Heaven is like, READ THIS BOOK. I found myself very emotional at times reading it and learning how deeply Jesus loves us and longs to be close to us. Randy's ability to clearly draw us a detailed picture with his words on what he saw and how he felt, you can almost close your eyes and feel the love and be in HIS presence. So much wisdom. I would recommend turning off your TV and diving right into this book and HIS presence. It has literally changed my entire way of thinking. I have more Hope and more Faith...oh how I long to go and be there and experience it for myself. But for now, I have my bible and Revelations from Heaven. Thank you for taking the time to so beautifully write this book.

This is the experience of Randy Kay who clinically died for half an hour. During that time, his soul left his body and went to heaven where he met and had conversations with Jesus. I first heard about Near Death Experiences (NDEs)when I read a book entitled Beyond Death's Door (copyright 1978) by cardiovasucular specialist Dr. Maurice Rawlings. Dr. Rawlings resuscitated patients and then listened to their experiences while they were clinically dead. He became convinced of the afterlife which led him to embrace Christianity. Randy Kay points out that an estimated 200,000 Americans have near-death experiences every year. Dr. Jeffrey Long, a radiation oncologist and found of the largest NDE website says in his book Evidence of the Afterlife, "there is currently more scientific evidence to the reality of near death experience (NDE) than there is for how to effectively treat certain forms of cancer."
As a follower of Jesus, I found this book very inspiring for my own journey of faith in my relationship with Jesus and my future experiences in heaven!

Randy cannot talk about his encounter with Jesus without becoming deeply emotional due to the love he experienced - and says that Jesus loves us each just as much! God really loves you! Randy's book is a wonderful journey in describing his experience and what he gained from it. There are many lessons and insights, and for me this book is another precious step in my journey. Recommend it to you too!

Although I have an interest in NDEs I had to put this one down after about 40% of it being read. It got too preachy and off topic to continue to hold my interest. Not that I mind being preached to- by a good minister on Sunday- but not when I person goes off the reservation when I am reading a book. Two stars for some interesting NDE recollections... but minus three stars for so quickly going off topic. Probably only the first quarter of this book discussed Near Death Experience cases before it shot off into evangelism.

God is good- all the time.

The Joy Of The Heavenly Kingdom to Come

I enjoyed every page of the book, on NDE. I have never had one but truly believe that our God gives certain people this experience. As a believer in the Lord Jesus and the new Kingdom coming on this world, this book brought me great joy and I will definitely read it again just to have the visualizations of heaven as explained by Randy Kay. Revelations from Heaven was a soothing comfort to read

This book was a reminder of God's love for us.
For the Christian and the lost , it spoke of the hope and joy that is in the Lord. The account of Randy Kay's NDE experience was reassuring and wondrous. It is a peek into heaven that is beyond description and imagination when we are in the presence of Jesus.
The constant theme was God's love for us and His desire that we are saved to be with him for eternity.

Why does all this matter? Read it and you'll see.

The author refers to these experiences as "NDE"s - "Near-Death Experiences". While he acknowledges that unbelievers and those of other belief systems have also experienced them, he also spends some time noting some differences reported by those others and the common themes noted by believers in Jesus.

Beyond those notes, he focused almost exclusively on his own visit with Jesus during his own NDE. I was a little concerned about the use of "Revelations" in the book's title, but was relieved to find that none were "new", and all of them were grounded in scripture. I appreciated all of his insights.

At first I tried to read this the same way I would a story-telling book, but that didn't work for me. Instead, I found I did better if I only tackled one chapter or sub-chapter at one sitting.

Not quite sure what to make of this one. Obviously written by an intelligent, medical professional/surgeon who had terrible health (cardiac and pulmonary illness) who was effectively dead for about 30 minutes and describes an amazing afterlife in heaven. He apparently went years after his resuscitation before sharing his experiences with others and ultimately putting these recollections and reflections into several books. If he is right about what he says he experienced, we have nothing to worry about. There are some similarities with other near death experience accounts I have read. He seemed to get a bit repetitious in his narrative, but some of his recollections are really fascinating regarding the "spiritual bodies" he encountered, which match up pretty well with various New Testament scripture.

I have read many books on the subject of near death experiences, heaven and life after the experience, and this book was Number 1 in my opinion. I could hardly get through the pages because my tears were falling so fast. The revelations in my spirit and soul came in like a rushing waterfall. This book was as real as the person writing this review, it is a must read and worth ever penny spent to purchase it. Randy the author also true to gods words in the bible ties every event in heaven and his experiences with the fullness of gods word. Thank you Jesus for Randy and allowing him to return to write this unbelievable but true account of heaven, God/Jesus and the holy spirit which lives in all believers never to leave us or forsake us. Amen

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the peace it gave me as I imagine my life in Heaven with Jesus. The account of Randy Kay's NDE experience was reassuring, emotional, and full of awe and wonder. I treasure this peek into heaven and Randy's attempt to share the love and worship and presence of Jesus that is beyond description and imagination here on earth.

The book's major focus is the constant reminder on how much God loves us and His desire that we are saved to be with him for eternity.

I tried, but could not finish this book; I made it over halfway before abandoning it. I wanted to hear Randy's story and his insights from his NDE, but the writing just grated on my nerves. This book needed a stronger editor to guide the author to simplify word choices and soften his tone—I typically support preserving an author's voice to the fullest extent possible, but this reads as patronizing toward the reader too often.

After watching countless NDE experiences shared on his YouTube channel, I was compelled to read Randy Kay's book on his own NDE following a septic death. While medically dead for 30 minutes, Randy visited heaven, met Jesus, saw God the father, angels, and shares many revelations learned from talking with Jesus during this time. This book aligned all revelations with spiritual scripture and is well written!

This book is one of the most spiritually uplifting books that I've ever read! If you have ever wondered about how the Lord's realm and the realm of humans work together, this book is the one for you. Questions like, "why did I have to go through this troubling time?" or "Did God even see me when I was going through this?" are made known, but the most important revelation you will receive in this book is just how much Jesus truly loves us.

Revelations from Heaven

Randy Kay has written a memoir of a Near Death Experience that is amazing and very spiritual. This is a person who met Jesus and took a long walk with him in heaven. They conversed and Mr. Kay recounts much of their conversation. It really is remarkable. Mr. Kay does do some preaching in the book but that is to be expected given that he has a ministry of his own. I enjoyed the book a great deal.

Excellent reading from someone who has been to heaven

I love reading of accounts from people who have experienced heaven from near death experiences or prophetic visions. What I love from Randy Kay's book, "Revelations From Heaven" is his descriptions of a personal love relationship Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit had for him and us. The revelations Jesus gave Randy were encouraging and needed for today.

But this book is my choice now, and WOW. Its realy hard to put down! Tears, laughs, and amazing 'revelations' come to me as I read. It has changed my life, and I'm not even half way in the book.

This is a good book. I believe it. There is lots of great learnings in here and I recommend it to anyone searching for answers. I'd read his 'heaven stormed' and John Burkes 'Imagine heaven' first. This book lost a star due to the lack of structure in the book. It feels a little lacking in flow and the information is presented in a logical order or sections imo.

Comforting book…

I lost my sister 3 months ago and was looking for answers. This book gave me such comfort and assurance that she’s in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ now. Love the last verse “well done good and faithful servant “. That was my verse for her eulogy at the funeral. She has completed her purpose in this life and now home with the Lord. Thank you Jesus 🙏💕❤️

One of the most meaningful books I’ve read on NDE

Randy did such a wonderful job writing this book to help understand how much Jesus loves each of us. It’s very down to earth and at the same time very inspiring.

one of my favorite books!

This book shares accounts of the author’s NDE and what he learned. it was absolutely fascinating. I was only a few chapters into it when I ordered copies for my family.
