Will they be able to make a home for Christmas?
Nia Alexander is leaving the costume rooms of Hollywood in her rearview mirror and taking her son across the country for a fresh start and a white Christmas. She’s also hoping to leave behind the threats from the jerk who didn’t want to hear the word No.
Jaz LaChance is never going back to the limelight. It’s been almost a decade since his photos were splashed in magazines and on billboards. Funding new businesses in Bloo Moose is better. Until Nia turns out to be a new tenant. Nia saved his ass once, but every time he looks at her, he remembers the humiliation of that night.
When Jaz discovers Nia is being threatened, he needs to figure out how to leave the past truly where it belongs. If they can trust each other, they might be able to make a home of their own for the holidays.

This is book nine in The Bloo Moose Romantic Suspense Series and it is Jaz and Nia's story and it is definitely a must read. Now has had enough of Hollywood and all the problems that she has encountered there so she has decided to go and take her son Malik to live in Bloo Moose after being told what a great place it is and she is determined to restart her life and start her new business and keep herself and Malik safe and that is the most important thing for Nia. Jaz was so shocked and couldn't believe his eyes when he walked into the kitchen of The Lucky I give his key's to the new tenant only to find Nia the person that witnessed his most humiliating time of his life and now he would have to see Nia all the time constantly bringing back and remembering that awful time and Jaz didn't know how he felt about that. The more time Jaz and Nia spend together the stronger there feelings for each other grows but danger is following His and Malik and when Has finds out about it be is determined to protect the two people that has become so important to him and part of his life so with help he hopes that he will get a future with them. I absolutely loved this book and how the whole community came together to help and protect Nia and Malik and it made you feel that you were part of the Bloo Moose community and family going through everything with them all. This book is definitely worth reading and I can't wait to read more books in this amazing series as the depth of these stories are what makes them real page turner's that keep your attention throughout the whole book and they are so addictive and a must read.

This book is the perfect read for the holiday season, but could be enjoyed at any time of year. It features a sweet romance, a dash of suspense, and a whole lot of holiday activities and cheer. Though Jaz and Nia met years ago, and she helped him out of an untenable situation, the sight of her and her son in his home town is not really a welcome one for Jaz. That all changes with the help of Nia’s adorable and wise beyond his years son, Malik. Malik’s joy at seeing snow, his abundance of questions and eagerness to experience winter activities pulls Jaz out of himself and the memories of what happened long ago with Nia. She is a single mom now and she bought a shop in Bloo Moose where she hopes to start life over again away from the Hollywood rat race. She also hopes the move will protect her and her son from a vengeful Hollywood bigwig who wants her to drop her claims against him. Jaz can’t help but be drawn to the kind, compassionate and resourceful woman who helped him in the past and Nia has always been attracted to him, though she would never have acted on it while she had been married. Malik’s simple wish for Christmas events and fun soon morph into the Merry Moose Mas Festival, with the whole town pitching in and eagerly taking part. The activities are hilarious, the community support inspiring and the romance between Nia and Jaz is blossoming, all while the danger mounts from Nia’s stalker. Read this delightful book to discover how the story unfolds for these wonderful characters.

I loved this addition to the Bloo Moose Romantic Suspense Series by Jemi Fraser. With deep character building of the three main characters Nia, Nia's son Malik, and sexy Jaz La Chance, the characters starts off with Nia and Malik determined to make a new, safe home for themselves in Bloo Moose with hopes of having a white Christmas with all the trimmings of a small town festival. As soon as Jaz sees Nia, he remembers the embarrassment of a past mistake but he also is enchanted with Nia and her son Malik, whose enthusiasm is wonderful.

One of the elements of Fraser's writing I love is her world-building of a beautiful town in Vermont with memorable characters who return throughout the books in the series. Another element I love is the theme of love throughout the novel - the love of friends, the love of family, and sexy-romantic love. Each book in this series showcases love in all the best ways and I highly recommend reading them, and then reading them again.

Nia, Jaz, and Nia's son, Malik, are the latest characters in Jemi Fraser's Bloo Moose series to make an impact on the little town of Bloo Moose and every reader's heart, guaranteed!

With a story just perfect for the holidays and all lovers of romance, Jemi's Reaching for Home and her entire series will entertain, offer an escape, and make you want to get the decorations out and up!
I don't know how she does it, but each book is different, fast-moving, and totally entertaining, as it builds on the story before and brings the many characters of Bloo Moose to the forefront. Making the reader wish they were part of the community.

May I suggest one, two, three – maybe even the entire set as a great holiday gift?!!!

The characters are memorable. The setting is unbelievable, and the writing superb!

Can't wait for the next book in this series. Although I've heard, there's another series coming. Yay!!!

Nia and Jaz had briefly known each other in L.A. and when he talked about his hometown of Bloo Moose Vermont, snow and holidays, she remembered. When things got too worrisome, she took her son Malik and headed for Bloo Moose, where Jaz ends up as her landlord. Things are a bit iffy at first between Nia and Jaz as he wants to forget what had happened ten years ago, but he is also mesmerized by Malik and his thrill of a white Christmas. The characters are heartwarming, caring, and feel like your best friends. The storyline gets tense when her trouble follows her to Vermont, but Jaz and others are there to help as the small town protects its own and friends come easily. Loved the chemistry, the locale and the ideas Malik comes up with for a festival in town. Great ending.

This is a terrific addition to the series, and a heartwarming holiday story. Nia and her son, Malik, move to Bloo Moose, needing a fresh start on their lives. Her new landlord is Jaz, whom she knew in LA years ago. Nia and Malik jump right in to become part of the town, with her purchase of a business, and Malik's ideas for a Christmas festival. When her past comes knocking to threaten their new-found safe haven, Jaz is right there to help protect them, with some help from their new friends. I love this small town. The residents come together to take care of friends and family, and it's wonderful to see them embrace Nia and Malik. Another Bloo Moose hit! This story about Nia, Jaz, and Nia’s son, Malik, is a fast-paced love-filled story that warms your heart and makes you want to move to this town just so you can meet the people living there.

I’ve read several books in the Bloo Moose series, and I’ve never been disappointed in the stories or the characters. I have a special shelf on my Goodread’s called Shameless Pleasure Reads, and that’s where Jemi Frasier’s books land. They’re always fun, exciting, and filled with warmth.

I highly recommend this series for anyone who likes a good read by the fire with a hot cup of cocoa.

Nia and her son Malik were searching for a new place to belong after she had to leave where they were before. Jaz spoke fondly of his hometown so when the opportunity came up Nia was hoping she found their new home in Bloo Moose even if it is much colder than their old one. The messages she keeps getting provide a suspenseful feeling waiting for something to happen. The townspeople were wonderfully supportive embracing Malik's festival ideas. I love this town and this story made me wish I could visit even more than before with all the quirky townspeople, play on moose, and new holiday fun.

I love the town of Bloo Moose!. I enjoyed the story line and strong characters. There was the right amount of suspense to keep me turning pages. There was more to the sex scenes than I normally like but good heat and not a deal breaker to keep me from reading. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading the other books in this series. I highly recommend this book and series.
