Book writing... and selling... made simple! You've thought about writing a book, dreamed about it. Here's all you need now to get YOUR book off the "to do someday" list and into reality! Here Don Aslett tells you, in his highly readable style, how to do it, step by step, the easy way. He shares all the secrets he's learned in more than twenty years on the front lines of writing and selling books.
This is a pep talk for new writers. Mr. Haslett goes into detail about all aspects of writing a book. He has put together a list of sources to help a new writer and has contributed his personal experiences in writing. One of the key principles I gained from the book is that, like medicine, you have to be your own advocate. Don tells the reader, prospective writer, what to look for, what to prepare for and mostly how to simply overcome the natural hesitations and simply do it. I met with Mr. Haslett in his office in the Museum of Clean in Pocatello, ID. He is a wonderful gentleman and we had a wonderful conversation together about a number of subjects. He encouraged me to write my experiences and I told him that I had already started with over 500 pages of computerized text in three different categories. At that time, he handed me this little volume and encouraged me to do what needs to be done to finish my volumes and get them published. I will take his advice and move forward with my text preparation.
