I think we all remember the memories of our first lockdown. After all this pandemic is fairly recent. At least in my part I remember how confusing and anxious it fell when everything came into caos and spread of Covid 19 was quicker than anyone has expected. Not only it spread quickly it became  more hazardous with time. Everyone had different experiences during this situation. This story is also based off the Pandemic theme.
This time Shelby is met with a car accident. When Simon reaches the scene he hears that Shelby had disappeared and the people who also got involved in thd accident had no clue about her condition of her injuries. On the other hand Shelby is being treated by a man known as as Frank. She still remembers her moments with Simon and wishes to unite with him.Little by little her memory becomes hazy. It seems she might be suffering from memory loss. On the other hand Simon is living his life with a wish to find Shelby at all cost. How will these two go through these hurdles and finally meet each other face to face. Discover more in "A Second Wave The Surge".
This is the second book of the Waves Book series. The concept and the plot is based on the whole Pandemic situation and I am sure many will find this relatable. The characters were written very well and the emotions they gave off made it easy to relate to them. As I read I got lost inside their world as it was very well written. Everything was written in a perfect order and with as realistic atmosphere as possible. If you like to romance and drama, definitely give this one a go.

Review: Welcome to the part 2 of one of the most interesting books I came across this year, and this one is just as good as the part 1, if not better. Like in real life, the pandemic in the story is hitting in waves, one stronger than the previous. Researchers and physicians, Simon and Shelby are trying their best to save as many lives they can, and do their best coming up with a solution while keeping their love for each other strong, even in these dark times. Will the two doctors survive the global crisis together, or will circumstances tear them apart. Find out in A Second Wave: The Surge, part 2 to A First Wave, The Emergence.

Like the previous book, this sequel is a mirror of the tough times we are facing as a global community. The story and the characters are relatable as they are all fighting to survive the virus. The author has done a brilliant job in keeping the emotions of the characters raw and vulnerable, which makes the readers become a part of their story.

I really enjoyed the book. A very well written sequel to an amazing book and I can’t wait for more books in the series. The author has brilliantly showcased the difficulties and emotional turmoil of the people in dark times, when people are dying left and right and the situation is becoming worse. Get your copies to find out what happens next in this pandemic romance of Shelby and Simon.

You will be emotionally invested in these characters. The world events happening around them, the people they meet, the places they go, the scenarios they are challenged with are unique but so relatable compared to any other book. Sometimes I forget this is fiction...I want to go find them and have a face to face discussion with them 😆as if this book is happening "now" and you need a daily update on what's new in their lives, if they've heard the latest news, and what they're going to do about it...I CAN'T wait to read the third book. I can only imagine...
