Well, this was an x-rated good time. I don’t know what I was expecting when I started reading this book but, this wasn’t it. Kookie Dough was unbelievably hot! Yadah and Nelly were nasty y’all and I was here for it. These two have been circling each other for the last three years and their attraction to one another finally comes to a head when they meet up to celebrate Deuce’s birthday. I’m not gon’ give away too much but, just know, Yadah and Nelly do some thangs that’s gon’ have you blushin’ and clutchin’ every single one of your invisible pearls. Let me just reiterate again, these two were nasty nasty. Whew chile! That ending left me feelin’ real salty though. When Yadah and Nelly said, “What happens on the island stays on the island” they meant that. Fast forward two years later, Yadah has moved to Atlanta and is in dire need of a job. There seems to be some secrecy surrounding her move to the ATL that’s left up in the air so, we have to wait for part two of their story to find out what’s going on with our girl. Now, I'm not one to gossip but I’m 99.9% sure Yadah is hiding a two year old toddler. But, y’all didn’t hear that from me. 😏

Kookies and Cream
Well damn this was a treat just like freshly baked warm chocolate chip kookies 😏
This was the beginning of Jonel's story, the baby brother of Deuce in the first book. Jonel was the playa, fk boy, bachelor for life if you will. He likes to have fun with no real expectations or attachments and he made sure the women he entertained understood that.
Yadah, the best friend of Deuce's wife Kristmas, also didn't like attachments. After getting through that ugly duckling phase she found validation by only entertaining men that were spoken for. Yes you read that correctly, a side chick if you will. Despite wanting more she didn't seem to have the mental capacity to put her heart truly on the line.
These two have been acquaintances for years, but some lines are crossed on this vacation. The sexual chemistry was off the chain, but they also seem to have connected unexpectedly.
Chillle the way this ended had me searching for another book that isn't written 😫😭 I do not like unexpected cliff hangers, but I would read the next book because I am intrigued this couple and I low-key think Yadah has a secret she is keeping from Jonel. Where is the next book?!!?

Kookie Dough was so much fun! A quick little spicy novella that serves as a prequel of sorts to the full-length novel for this couple that comes out soon.
Yadah and Nelly go from being acquaintances to F buddies for a week while they’re on vacation with their friend group, except Nelly arrives with another friend with benefits who is actually very chill and spicy times follow. I really liked how this didn’t end with them being together because the backstory is going to give so much angst and oomph to their love story. I also enjoyed the other friend with benefits being a very no-drama, down for anything type girl because idk that arrangement couldn’t work for me but I found her to be very mature!! LOL.
However, I’ll be honest: I was not a fan of some of the words used during the spicy scenes. While the scenes were hot and passionate, words like “sacred tunnel” and “yoni” made my skin crawl omg.
Other than that, I really have enjoyed what I’ve read from Bella Jay so far. She is truly a funny writer and skilled storyteller and I can’t wait to see what’s next for Nelly and Yadah!

Deliciously nasty! From the foreword you should have known what you was in for but Baybey Jonel my bae and Yadah took erotica to another level. That first sex scene gave what it needed to give. Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥 but you could tell there was something deeper between them as you read regardless of their rules and set up. I wasn’t a fan of Yadah’s personal choices though, like girlll what? Anyway with that ending I’m just ready for the next book and to see where they go from here. Also I don’t know about Mariah and I loved Tiff and Dale. Great read!

When I tell you I thought I was going to take a couple days to read this as I’m in the middle of another book I lied to myself. I got the pleasure of reading it early and when I tell you it took me a couple of hours I’m not lying. Putting down my phone wasn’t even a thought while reading. The concept is so relatable but you completely fall for the characters and the vibes that are given while reading. If you’re anything like me you’re going to read this then need the sequel immediately and then want to go but the rest of Bella’s books. One of the best books I’ve read this year as an avid reader.

Damn Bella! Whew! The chemistry between Yadah and Nelly was so hot, I thought I would burn my fingers turning my kindle pages! 🤣 These two people who have sworn off committed relationships, find themselves in a situationship, where those unwanted feelings are brewing. The spark was always there between them, but just intensified with Yadah's proposal! I loved them! There was such a playfulness and ease of conversation, that neither could ignore. Sooooo....what happened to Yadah? Why did she disappear? Why can't she find a job, and appears so desperate? Now that she is back in Nelly's orbit, can they keep it professional? New rules? For them? Hmmmm....Can't wait for the next installment. This read was fun, and incredibly sexy! Great job! 👍👍👍

4.5/5 omgg this was sooo good! The spice was amazing! The plot was good! For a novella this was so good! I hate that I have to wait for a full book about them but I’m so ready!! I will be honest I didn’t like the fact that she was messing with a married man so that’s why I took of a half star but all in all it was amazing!!

This book was good and spicy. I read this book on live with some of my bookclub members. I really enjoyed this book and I cannot wait until I read the next book in this series. This book was short and spicy so my type of book. This is my third book by Bella Jay and one of my favorite books by her so far. I look forward to reading more books by her.

This was a quick spicy read where a vacation fling/friends with benefits situation started with Yadah and Nelly but it the way it ended, I definitely has me wanting to see where this situationship is going to go and if these two who had no intentions of settling down will be able settle down with each other.

unexpected pleasure
I was expecting a good read but man listen. This one was far more than I expected and the fact that it wrapped up the story but also setup a future story line was another added bonus. If tastefully raunchy is a definite way to describe this one. I’m here for it!!

Yadah and Nelly
My goodness, Yadah and Nelly were extra hot together. I will confess; I skipped the gog action and the three× event. And there were many horizontal and quite a few vertical acts in this one that had me shaking. Overall, this was a scorching hot story.

Whew I loved this nontraditional story. Very spicy lawd 🔥. The ending was fun for me I really only hated how many times Nelly chortled lol. Great book Bella Jay is definitely a new favorite.

Whew Chile!!! A lil Kookie Crumbs is always good.. This introduction to Nelly & Yadah was absolutely fantastic and well written. The chemistry between the pair was undeniable🤯🤯. Yadah most certainly surprised me the most!! She came out the gate banging and Nelly couldn't keep his hands out her kookie Jar even if he tried. I love the supporting characters and what they brought to the story too. Based on that lil epilouge we were bleessed with i think its safe to say we are in for a treat whenever their future unfolds.. I think I have an idea but 🤐🤐🤐. Overall a great read

Hot and spicy book that I loved. Yadah and Nelly had a connection in book 1. In this book, they are fighting their attraction. They are on vacation to celebrate Nelly's brothers birthday. Mix in drinking and edibles, and these two act on their attraction. The spice in this book was SPICY. I was here for every minute of these two being together. They spent the week exploring each other any and everywhere. I want more on these two. As Tiffani told Nelly, they have more than just sexual chemistry, but neither are relationship people. The sneak peak at the end was everything. I need the rest ASAP.

I had a feeling Nelly’s story would be tied to Yadah with the super soft hint giving in “Finding Kristmas” and I’m here for it. This was a super sexy story with a cliffhanger I definitely didn’t expect in this novella BUT since it came with the promise of a full novel for Yadah and Nelly to make it make sense I guess I’m ok with it… as long as it also maintains the level of chemistry and sexy that has now been established between these two. Yadah can pretend with these new rules all she wants but we know what’s up!

February 20, 2023Soft DNF for me. I dunno I was in the middle of another romance that had a similar enough story but captivated me more at the time. That was my bad. I didn’t plan out the monthly assortment more specifically by genre to keep it varied.
Will come back to this later. I LOVE Bella Jay’s writing she has been a go to for me and will def continue to be.

This was another quick read & fill for my novella addiction. I enjoyed this book & need book 3. It always be the young ones that reel you in someway. They all grown as hell, idky they was so scared to tell X or have her find out. It’s not like Yadah can go any lower than the life she already living & doing the things that she shouldn’t be doing. Nelly know exactly what he doing & what he was despite what he saying.

For this to only be 100 pages, I was hooked. I was not expecting that cliffhanger of an epilogue! Nelly may be cocky, but he backs it up. The spice was 🔥. Dale and Tiffani were so funny, I couldn't stop laughing. I can't wait for Nelly and Yadah's story to continue in the next book.

This was a steamy read, with smoking hot chemistry and wonderful characters! Yadah (Kookie) and Jonel (Nelly) came out the gate with fire, and it continued to burn throughout this introduction story. Great Book!
I knew this book would be good, because Nelly was hilarious in Deuce & Kristmas' story, but I had no idea Nelly and Yadah were gonna bring all that! I was so not ready for that Truth or Dare game!😳 Oh. Em. Gee. Their chemistry was explosive!🔥🔥🔥 They were just so fun to read. I didn't think Yadah had it in her, but she proved me wrong. I loved these 2, I can't wait to read their main story. s/n I definitely have my suspicions about the reason behind that 2 year hiatus😒, I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right. Also, was good to see Deuce & Kristmas still going strong! But I have a feeling, Nelly and Yadah's story is going to top even theirs! 5 ⭐️ Stars!!!

Yadah and Nelly wow
I don't know what to say other than this was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Like it was naughty but highbrow freaky. I really enjoyed these two and can't wait for the full journey. This is not one to read in the company of others. It was a good read.
