It's a pretty good read but lacks the emotion of its predecessor, Nobody's Mother. Probably the most touching piece comes near the end when Allan Wilson talks about his son who died of cancer.

What a 'great little book'. Some excellent writers in this small collection. Picked it up in the Freestore..now I will keep a look out for Nobody's Mother.
