When she’s not busy writing, you’ll find her reading, going on cruises with her husband, or taking a road trip for a girl’s weekend getaway. She’s a huge sports fan, but she prefers watching the games at home where she can curl up on the couch with her feline fur babies.
Amy released her first book in 2014 and now has over twenty published works, from sweet and clean, rom-com, sports and firefighters, there's bound to be a hero for all of her readers.
This story was just ok for me. It was pretty basic and the steam level was pretty low. The first half was Nate agonizing over whether to ask out Murphy or not. He liked her but didn’t know if she should make a move. I didn’t find that Murphy had any walls up. She was open immediately to a date when he asked so I found the blurb a little misleading. The story also ended very abruptly. No HFN or HEA, just ended with them dating I guess.
Safety Completely safe. No ow/om drama. Neither one is a virgin. No abuse. Nothing really mentioned about their pasts.
He's new to town and still making connections. He sees a girl in need of help when he's late for work, but never got her name or number after helping her out. Turns out, her grandfather is one of his patients. And gramps is a meddler! Now what will happen with the doctor and the granddaughter?
I liked the characters of Nate and Murphy. Nate is a doctor at the local hospital. Murphy is the granddaughter of one of his new patients. Nate doesn’t make the time to date but after meeting Murphy he’s willing to try. These two are sweet together as they navigate a new relationship.
There were little bits of their story that didn’t quite connect. For example, she seemed put off by the fact that he was a doctor at first but that’s never explained. Otherwise it’s a short and sweet romance with a quick scene with steam. Their first date ends in a funny and unexpected way. The ending of the book left me wanting more but it was also really sweet.

This was very disappointing. The story was non existent, the couple had just got together and were getting to know each other, the premise said that the heroine was hesitant to have a relationship but I never saw that at all. There was no ending to the "story", it just stopped so it wasn't worth my time reading it and I wouldn't recommend it at all.
Nate is a geriatric doctor, new to the hospital and wanting to settle down as he gets close to 30 years old. One of his patients tries to set him up with his granddaughter, who is finishing her teaching degree. Surprise - they have already met at a gas station. The characters are good with mild heat and good dialogue. The storyline has a few small roadbumps to get across, entertaining situations and great chemistry. Loved the way he put her at ease when her grandfather had trouble. Really showed his sweet, caring and determined side. Can not wait for the next book.. Doctor Feelgood is a legit short & sweet story following Nate and Murphy. He's a busy doctor who doesn't date until he comes face to face with Murphy, who is a family member of one of his patients. It seemed like the only obstacle was Nate's inner monologue because while Murphy had some demons about dating, she wasn't that closed off to possibilities while he argued with himself about maybe bending a rule as she wasn't his patient per se. It's definitely an easy book to read in an afternoon with quite a bit of feel good (I didn't even write that on purpose LOL) that I HIGHLY RECOMMEND at the end of the day.
This was a sweet read. For me, there wasn't a lot of steam but the connection was there between Nate and Murphy.
Nate was such a gentleman. There were times where he could have taken advantage but didn't. Murphy was so sweet and genuinely loved her grandfather. Murphy's grandfather was such a hoot with his matchmaking.
Doctor Feelgood Amy Stephens Nate and Murphy are beautifully written characters. I love Grandpa and how he works his magic. The story is good and I enjoyed reading this short story.

This is a short and quick read about Nate and Murphy. He is a doctor at Eastport General whose new patient wants to set up with his granddaughter. She matches him with Murphy. These two are sweet together. I enjoyed this story!
My heart just melted as I read Nate and Murphy's story. Nate a doctor new to the town, Murphy a young woman taking care of her grandfather and determine to finish her teaching degree. Nate and Murphy continually run into each other. When Nate takes the chance and ask Murphy out, it is a sweet and loving romance that will warm your heart and bring a tear to your eye.

Nate and Murphy's story was a good read. Nate is Murphy's grandfather's doctor and Murphy is all about taking care of everyone but herself. I enjoyed this story and it is a good addition to the Doctors of Eastport General series. The only negative I can say about this story is the abrupt end of it.
On the whole I liked this story very much, it was a sweet romance, I liked their connection and the way they were together. I did have a couple of questions that were never answered and I think this needs an epilogue to finish their story off, as in what happened next for them.

This is a sweet, quick read. Murphy and Nate have a connection with a slow burn. I enjoyed the sweetness of the story and if you want characters that care about others and share that, this is for you!

Nate is a doctor at Eastport General who helped out a fellow patron at a gas station when she couldn’t find her debit card. He was attracted to her and regrets that he was running late as he would have at least liked to get her contact info. He never expected to see her again however fate had other ideas when her grandfather turns out to be his patient.
Murphy is a substitute teacher while she finishes the last two months of her degree to become a teacher. She hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men so she is cautious about Nate however her matchmaking grandfather doesn’t have the same reservations.
Nate and Murphy were adorable together and he proved that she could count on him when she needed someone the most.
The story of Nate and Murphy. He is a doctor who is new to the area, and his patients keep trying to fix him up. He doesn't mind that when he meets Murphy, but will she give him a chance?

Another great installment in the Doctors of Eastport General series.
Dr Nate Longmire is the new Geriatric physician at Eastport General. As his 30th birthday approaches he feels his career is stable but he’s missing a relationship and a woman to settle down with and start a family. Yet one of his new patients attempts to pair Nate with his granddaughter, Murphy, whom Nate bought gas for the week before when she couldn’t find her wallet.
This is a short and sweet romance with a little comedy, a little sex, and very little drama.
I like that the series is full of love stories that can be read in one or two sittings, and so far each couple has good chemistry.
Doctor Feelgood is a sweet romance, that has Nate the local doctor who never dates wanting to change that for the granddaughter of one of his patients. There are some funny moments and some heat to give you a great all round romance. However I was left wanting a little more and finding that I was left with a few questions unanswered. Overall a great quick read in this series.
This was fun and sweet and I loved the matchmaking. Nate and Murphy have great chemistry but it's not all easy. I loved seeing both of them give in to what they were feeling and work through their obstacles.
***3 1/2 Stars*** Doctor Feelgood by Amy Stephens is part of the multi-author Doctors of Eastport General series. This novella is is a sweet, meaning just a bit of hot and steamy fun, and enjoyable read. The story is about Nate and Murphy. He is a doctor at the Eastport General Hospital and she finishing her teaching degree and works as a substitute teacher at the local school. They first cross paths in an unexpected way but then reconnect when her grandmother becomes one of his patients.

This is a great addition to this amazing series and is Nate and Murphy’s story. Nate is the newest doctor to join Eastport General and when he helps a woman at a gas station, he regrets not having the time to get her contact details. When one of Nate’s patients delves in a little matchmaking to link Nate with his granddaughter, fate has destined him to meet Murphy again. The chemistry between these two is undeniable. This is an enjoyable storyline which has humor, romance, and is a fun and sweet read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author and I recommend this story.
I've read several books written by Amy Stephens; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Doctors of Eastport General Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Murphy & Nate; he’s the new doctor in town, she’s had so many bad dates that she's convinced they are all the same.

This was a fun and quick read. This is a new author for me and I am looking forward to read more. This is also my first read from this series Doctors of Eastport General and it was entertaining. The story flows well, the chemistry between Nate and Murphy is good. You will read this book in one sitting.
The doctor didn't know that not only was he meeting his new patient but so much more. Even when he didn't know her name he was attracted to her and it grew from there.
Felt like it ended three quarters of the way through. There was no conflict to work through. I truly feel like I am missing the second half of the book
