With creative and imaginative drawing prompts, My Time All About Me! Art Journal is an interactive journaling experience that allows kids to record a slice of their lives to look back on later.
This entertaining sketchbook journal is filled with quick and easy-to-answer questions and space to write and draw the answers . Also included are stickers, suggestions of things to tape or paste into the book , things to color and cut out, and tips on how to doodle everyday life . Once the last prompt is complete, journalers will mark the date to open the time capsule journal, and then put the book away. Their time capsule awaits their older selves!
With My Time All About Me! Art Journal , children can draw, doodle, design, and color the answers to questions about everyday life. Some prompts
Thought-provoking prompts, space to draw and write on every page, cut-outs, and a bonus sticker sheet drive creativity and engagement in the moment, as well as record things about everyday life that a child may otherwise forget . Each prompt is dated, so the book can be completed all at once or over a longer period of time, and in no particular order. Additionally, interactive activities demonstrate how to create a time capsule related to the art and activities completed in the journal and then hide it away for re-discovery years later.
Entertaining and fun in the moment , this drawing journal is also meant to be saved to become a treasured keepsake years later.
It is so freaking cute! This is the most cutest journal I have ever come across!
Seriously I wanted to cry. It's so cute!
Okay, back to the basics.
I love everything about this journal that would guide the kids to record about themselves as well as what they like and feel.
The journal also provides enough space for updating on their daily activities and habits.
I cannot help it. It's so cute. Forget it. Just get this in dozens as it is undated (which I really appreciate!) and can be used all year round for years!
Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group - Walter Foster, for the advance review copy.
This title could be a fun summer project for a child you know. Kids should love the many extra like stickers, coloring pages and more. They can include info on favorite foods, hobbies, family lore and more. I especially liked that there was a section entitled “Future Me.” Kids are even instructed on how to make a time capsule of this title, so that, many years from now, they can look at what they created and remember their younger self.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto-Walter Foster Jr. Books for this title. All opinions are my own.
What a fantastic idea! I think all young ones should be encouraged to make time capsules of all different kinds. I wish I had!
I love art journals and I love how this one encourages children to express themselves and their individuality. I also really like how the activities help them to discover who they are right now on their journey, and also to contemplate who they might be in the future.
*I was granted access to an e-arc via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This is actually a time capsule in book format. Here we ask children to write as much as they can about themselves. Their height, their hairstyle, what do they think about this and that, to be opened later on. So when they open the book someday, they can remember what they were back then and reminiscing good old days. To those artsy kids, this will be fun. But maybe for those who are not into arts, this might be challenging.
