Charae never disappoints

Charae is a one click author for me and after reading Yadi’s story I was so ready for Uno. I will say ole Sundai got on my nerves a lot but I did appreciate that she didn’t try to be something that she wasn’t. Her mama irked my entire soul I was so happy when she was “attacked”. I loved everything about UNO’s rude ass and would love to know where things go with his birth mom …. Now the way this book ended makes me think we’ll be meeting more burner Boyz and I’m here for it 🔥

First read by this author, and I will be checking out her catalog! These two were something else! Whew! From that first interaction, even though they were yelling and mean muggin', you could tell there was some chemistry brewing! Uno, was wild, reckless, and that mouth of his chile...... But, he had a heart of gold, and would do anything for those that he cared for. Sundai, I loved her sass, although she was a bit naïve at times. That damn momma of Sundai's was garbage! 😡 I would never condone fighting your momma, but that heifer deserved to get her ass whooped for all that mess she made Sundai endure! 😂 The hell was wrong wit her! Both Uno and Sundai were strong willed, and the push and pull dance they were constantly doing, was comical. I loved how Uno would never call Sundai by her name, and that irritated the hell out of her! 😂 But, they worked, and found a genuine fondness for each other that grew into more. NOW, Uno was all the way wrong for how he spoke to Sundai! Yeah, he had a right to feel some sort of way, but damn he talked to her like she wasn't ish, and it made ME mad! We need more stories about the rest of the crew asap! Great read! 👍👍👍

I wasn't feeling connected to Uno. There was something missing in this story that was present in the first book, but I can't quite pinpoint what it is. I would love to see a book focused on Sassy and Pope. Their characters are intriguing and deserve their own story.

Just call me a Burner Girl! I loved Sundai and Uno so much from getting off to the wrong foot to their banter and him calling her every day of the week. Uno was a handful and Sundai gave as good as she got. Her mama was triflin but I’m glad she walked away and chose herself. This author hasn’t let me down yet. Both authors knocked it out of the park with this series. As I said previously I want all the stories. I enjoyed this world so much I didn’t want to leave it. Highly recommend this read.

🔥

Lord, Uno and Sundai took me through it in this book! I knew from the beginning during their first encounter this was going to be a crazy journey. This book definitely lived up to my expectations. And I was truly entertained with these two. Uno is truly a character but he means well. Underneath that rough-fly at the mouth demeanor is a man that truly goes above and beyond for the ones he loves. Uno has this almost instant attraction to Sundai and once he staked his claim on her, she was stamped. Sundai couldn’t catch a break but let me say, her mother was the worst. I cannot stress enough about my disdain for that woman. I feel like Sundai was super naive at times but she loved hard and wanted Uno more than she cared to admit. I think the back and forth between the two guys was a bit much for her and she didn’t understand the severity of the situation, sigh. Buuuut Sundai did not deserve what Uno did- there I said it. 😳He was so wrong lol. Overall, this was a page turner and I did not stop reading until I was finished. I loved the chemistry that Uno and Sundai had and their discussions and funny banter really showed that they were better together and brought out the best in one another. I so enjoyed this book. Awesome job!! 🥰

Great Read!

I just love the brother bond and relationship especially the one they have with Sassy. They have a great relationship with Pope as well. Another great storyline and you never disappoint. Hopefully we will see more about the characters bc I just knew her mom did something to her dad… Smdh

This book here was sooooo good. First time reading a book by this author.
Ok Uno is must be a Virgo 😂😂😂😂😂😂 look he was a whole fool. I love him though because he kept it real
Sundai oooweeee she worked my nerves but I get because of her up bringing. Now she was wrong for playing both sides but Uno got her all the way together.
The mother ooweeee that lady was the devil in church clothes🤦🏽‍♀️. I was so happy when sundai let her have it
The step father smh was a punk no back bone at all
Now uno was wrong at the end acting like she was suppose to still love him 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
This book was good and the way it ended. Please bring on another book. Must read you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED 😘

I love when UNO asked Sundai. What did we learn today? I hollered so loud 😂😂😂😂

Uno

These two took me through it. I thought it was cute how he kept calling Sundai everything but her name.
Her mom irked my entire soul.
I'm really enjoying this series and I can't wait to read the next one.

Unpopular opinion… I didn’t care about Uno and Ole girl! More so her, she was annoying af!

I saw another reviewer describe her that way as well and completely agree. I realize this was a 20 year old with an emotional abusive parent and blah blah. But I just didn’t feel their connection.

Uno was slightly manipulative, I also didn’t really feel their connection. Plus, she was so freaking whiny and the way she reacted to Samson was ridiculous. She wanted people to do for her what she wasn’t capable of doing for herself.

I was more interested in everyone else but them. Even their reconnection didn’t matter. This was just disappointing and honestly I felt like Uno’s story was a little premature. As we didn’t get much prompting from book 1 to garner interest in him this way. Other people would’ve been more interested, for me the obvious next story would’ve been Onxy or even Omar. Who was surprisingly missing from this book. Vonte was introduced, but no Omar or Cormega.

Listen when I tell you was invested in these characters in book 1. And while I plan to continue with this series. This one wasn’t it for me. Sorry🤷🏾‍♀️

GREAT READ

Uno is quite the character. Had me laughing at his antics especially when it came to Sundai and her name. I really enjoyed Uno and Sundai's story. Had a nice flow to it and the drama wasn't overwhelming. I felt that Uno and Sundai were meant to be together. She brought about a softer side to Uno when it came to him expressing his feelings. What I liked about Sundai was that she didn't allow her mother to continuously belittle her and stepped out on her own. I was also happy Uno got his moment with his birth mother. I definitely love the series collaboration between both authors and looking forward to who gets a story next. The Burner Boyz are unforgettable.

Loving this series!

Charae Lewis did it again! I wish both books longer, but i really enjoyed reading Uno’s tale. Sundai’s mother was the worst, for a capable 20 year old, Sundai gave her a lot of passes for her disrespect! She had options & really didn’t have to put up with her mom, but…Character development. I was happy to see she finally stood up for herself. In the end, I was glad to see Sundai and Uno were able to come back together and i’m looking forward to reading more about the Burner Boyz. This was a really great collab.

Uno

Sooo I really enjoyed this story. Uno's attitude toward things is admirable. Sometimes we take things to personal and it has a weird affect on our lives. Not everything should be taken like that. Now I also like the way Uno is about Sundai. Their vibe is definitely one to love. But i must say that Strip club scene was hilarious man. Sundai was like i need this money 😂😂😂 but really great story and I loved that emotional feel. Glad Sundai got a chance to really let her mom have it but also that she reliable people in her corner

That Bike life

This series combination could have easily been a Bikers spinoff. I can actually see these stories developing into a complete series of that bike life vibe it's giving off with each character development there's a new story to tell. It seems as though this ended with Esko trying to talk to us. I still felt something missing from the journey between Yadi adoption. Uno at least found his mom, but something more seems to be cooking up. It was a pretty good read but I wanted closure with Sundai mom, and it just ended.

ok read

I like Uno so much, but his story wasn’t as good as Yadi. I feel so much has been left out, there was a lot of repetition too with regards to Sundai and her mother. We didn’t really get a full background on her disdain for Sundai, the explanation we got was weak as hell. It just kept repeating how much her mother didn’t like her, other than that it wasn’t much to this story I kept stopping and coming back to it. It wasn’t the worse I’ve read but it could’ve been better.

Uno and Sundai, Tuesday, Wednesday...

The thing was Uno played alot but the one thing he didn't play about was respect. And anyone could get it if they crossed him or his family.

I did not, however, like that. This ended a bit rushed. These 2 almost didn't make it.. I feel like they didn't really get to build a solid bond like Yadi and Liberty did. Then, before we knew it, there was a time jump
and still no resolution on who hurt him.

Are we still pretending Freddo and his sister ain't missing?

Uno and Sundai 🥰

That Uno is hell on wheels. He falls for the sweet Sundai hard. Although he is the true description of a work in progress, he provides Sundai with the support, encouragement, and love that she needs. Sunday’s mom is truly a bitter, sour human being. I’m happy in the end they were able to embrace their love for one another and make their relationship work! I enjoyed this read so much I read it all in one day!

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really enjoyed Uno’s tale, thiugh he could be a hothead at times and call Sundai everything but her name 😂😂 I liked his outlook on certain things. I loved the banter between him and Sundai (with her assuming self) Sundai’s mom is a complete mess, look up the word toxic you’ll see her picture. I’m praying that we get more from the Burner Boyz, I feel like its a lot more that could be explored with the gang.

I enjoyed Uno and Sundai’s story. The back and forth between those two was hilarious. I found myself laughing quite a few times. I just wish they had a stronger connection. I did not feel that. Nevertheless, I did like the story, it flowed well and it held my attention. If there is a continuation of the series, I look forward to reading it. Good job, Charae Lewis!

Enjoyed the ride!

As usual, Charae Lewis has penned a story that brought drama, heat, suspense, and as always a few laughs! Uno had me side-eyeing him at times. But friendly Sundai had his number! As for Aurora, whew chile! Great characters, great follow up to book one! Can't wait for the next two installments from both authors!

Loving these Burner Boyz!

Wow, I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. Uno and Sundai tested every nerve that I have, but I was so glad that they got back together. Sundai’s mom was a real piece of work and I would absolutely love to get her back story. This book was very well written and I’m looking forward to reading more about these Boyz.

Ride or Die

Whew, if it's not at least one petty character and your emotions not on a roller coaster then the author ain't Charae! Uno definitely fit the description and the read was well worth it! My chest was literally hurting from my heart beat pounding so fast with anticipation of the outcome! Ride or die is the way of Uno, Sunday had no choice!

🤔 I'm not sure!

So I gave the book 4 stars because I really like the burner boys storyline. I enjoyed reading more about Uno, but this part seemed rushed. Is the story nor complete? I don't know I need more os Sundai's story, her mom's story, etc... Something is most definitely missing.

Great great

Sundai’s mother got on my nerves, She treated her terrible. I was just happy when Sundai finally stood up to her. I loved the relationship she had with Uno. Uno was a wild one but he loved extremely hard, the love he showed for Sassy was priceless.
He said anything out of his mouth which kept me laughing.
Can’t wait to read another book by the author.

Uno love🥰

I can’t find the exact moment I feel in love with Uno craziness but I’m weak for Sundia and Uno’s love and it was a ride I truly enjoyed. Ms.Lewis has captured a cast of characters that will continue to make you laugh, cry, blush, and reminisce on how they will continue to move after The End🥰🤣🤣

better then expected

This series was the first books I’ve read from this author and I’m so intrigued. The burner boyz series can be one of those when it can have multiple books because it’s so much history and back stories that we need to know. I can’t wait for the next installment.

great read

Those Burner Boyz are something else. Uno was not trying to fall in love but he couldn’t help the feeling he got with Sundai. They were a cute couple and he had her back. Her mother was a hot mess and deserved to be handled. I kind of wanted the author to gives us some finality with Aurora but this was a good read.

Love the Burner Boyz crew

Unos tale did not quite live up to Yadis. I did not feel the connection between Uno and sundai. They spent more time bickering than actually falling in love. Uno is mean and sundai was just childish. In spite of they got their happily ever after. Charae is a great author.
