The portals are open and the orcs have come to the World of Sanctuary and Serenity.
Theo has rallied a mighty horde at his back. As the orc Wargod said to him, the Patriarch of the Hearthwood Clan can't save Deania, but the Chief of the Blackgorge Tribe can. With an army at his back, Theo plans to do just that.
The nations surrounding Deania have decided to attack. But while they're away, who's going to be protecting their homes?
Theo plans to lead the orcs who would have invaded Deania into the lands of their enemies instead. In doing so, he hopes to drive this enemy army away before Countess Frostweaver finishes whatever she's planning back in the capital.
This is turning into a really good series. I think the author has found the right balance with action, having an OP main character that keeps getting stronger, world building and sexy time with the ladies.
This book should really be 3-4 books instead of one, it is a giant mess. I was really impressed at the pacing and keeping power levels normal in the previous books. However this just ramps everything completely out of control theres like 5 different story lines the main character does everything himself and is completely OP and it's just hard to care. I love a good OP character but you have to have some fun/interesting interactions with side characters to pull it off. This book is 95% the main character bearing on people who are under his level which isn't like the rest of the books. It definitely seems like the author just wanted to blitz through the rest of his ideas and wrap things up and it didn't turn out great at all. 2.5/5 I liked the rest of the books so I'll go back and review them positively to balance out for this but oh boy. And those time travel chapters? I can't describe how much I didn't want to read them.
Overall, the main story is interesting and keeps growing towards something bigger. Unfortunately, spelling errors, grammar issues, and simple contradictions heavily distract from an otherwise promising story. Every page seems to have errors or contradictions, forcing the reader to go back and forth or to reread passages to ensure what they read is understood.
Additionally, character development is generic, despite the potential. The MC and supporting cast progress predictably, with few surprises. Part of this is alluring and at times the author does provide intriguing twists to the overall plot. This alone strengthens the story. But just when things get interesting, grammatical errors leave you scratching your head in confusion.
Again, a promising story that is unfortunately hindered by juvenile writing.
I loved this book. Theo's journey continues and I did not want it to end. The characters and the story are captivating and I am eager to read how it goes on. This series is great and there are no weak books among them and book 7 is no exception. A version of the book had every 'orc' replaced with 'dark elf' due to a bug. The author has fixed it already, unfortunately 'mazon is very slow to push the corrected version through!
I believe the author said that this is the end of the series and will begin a new one, 1 where he will probably be going to other worlds Which sounds fun and Exciting. Tower of blood was a good ending to the series, But since Illieal is on the front cover I wish he Explain a few details involving her. She had a major role to play at the end but there was a few details I could have let up to it.
MC finally become OP and stomps over everyone. This was bound to happen and it's ok, but i liked it better when he was still struggling to survive. He literally steamrolled over like 4 elven nations and captured so many enemy elves i was having trouble remembering who was who.
Also, I didn't care for the time traveling arc in the Fateweaver Society. T-T always gives me a headache. Thankfully it didn't last long.
I absolutely binged this series. The storyline is EPIC. The only thing that let it down are the lacklustre s€x scenes, and the authors obsession with having an impossibily huge di€k spraying copious amounts of c¥m.... if you can overlook the sub-par s€x scenes, the rest of the series is really, really good. if I were the author, I'd collaborate with a female author who REALLY knows how to write s€x scenes, and he'd increase his reader base to include so many ladies.... who knows - the men may learn a thing or two as well......it would be a win/win, and a service to unsatisfied women everywhere 🫶
So... I read the last book and it's all about orcs, but this one starts and suddenly it's dark elves? What in the ever loving..?!?
Pretty big change. If you're going to suddenly retcon and change something like that in the book that huge, a warning would be a good idea. Is there a reason for it? I... an beyond confused. 🤔
Great conclusion to this part of the story. Not the end of the series of course, but good send off for the end of the Deanian war. Can’t say I’m the biggest fan of time travel/space folding cause it can get confusing for the reader but it was well done here. On to the next book!
I loved the book all the way it had awesome action and got awesome endings we didn’t even see coming. I can’t wait for book 8 and the start of a new adventure with Theo and the family
Really like this series. I don’t feel like it takes itself seriously which to me is great. It has a great story and continues to build itself into something better than you would expect.
I’m used to the story line and think the cultivation progression is good. Orcs are now dark elves though? I’m surprised this book was uploaded by Amazon without a typo review as well. Fixable
A very good book and a hell of a good series, it is definitely one of my favorites. The characters and the story are top notch and I can't wait till the next book comes out
You changed the species of the orcs to dark elf also every time it should have said sorcerer it said dark elf? Was really hard to make it to the end of this one which sucks bc I've gotten invested in the story through the other books
This HS been my favorite series to read since the beginning!!! From the first words you will be unable to put this story down!!! Thank you and I can't wait to see what happens next!!!
Absolutely love this series and this one is the best by far. Theo finally is coming into his own and is the powerful Chaka he is supposed to be. Can’t wait for the next one.
I have enjoyed every book in the series and wouldn't mind reading more. Fast paced page turner with interesting characters that you can instantly root for
I enjoyed this book as it has brought a arc of the story to a satisfying conclusion but has also set up a new arc to begin. Overall I enjoyed it very much.
We're at the point in the game where you have close to if no straight up end game armor and weapons and all the money you'll ever need. This is a good series. 👍🏾👍🏾
