This series is by far one of the slowest burns I've ever read, while I love it, I also want some kind of action.
Ida wants to go to college in Kyoto, Aoki didn't listen and agrees with Ida even though he had no clue what he was agreeing to. Aoki tries to make up for his mistakes and Ida realizes that his annoyance with Aoki truly means that he cares about Aoki. They work so hard to make their relationship work, which is something people really don't do these days.
Aida and Mio make summer plans with each other which is to go to a fireworks festival but it gets rained out so it leads to an unplanned visit to see Mio's parents. The dinner scene leads Aida into mistake after mistake, which it's supposed to be funny and in a way it was but you have to feel for Aida. Their section of the book just shows how hard Aida is trying to be the right person for Mio.
I can't wait to see what else happens in these couples futures.

This series is seriously everything I needed in a romance right now!! It has all the good moments and tropes but it seriously feels like a breath of fresh air! I need MORE like this, it’s so unique!

Another fine entry in a series that is just noodling around as it coasts to its conclusion. The main couple visits a college in Kyoto and gets caught up in a cute little ghost story. The secondary couple meets up with Hashimoto's parents, who are now my favorite characters in the series. The last 25 pages are filled with side stories and other bonus content.

i like how well-executed the clichés are in this story. it's not cringe and the dynamics between the characters and ships are gripping.

Otro tomo lleno de emociones que van como una montaña rusa.
Aoki entra en shock (algo ya nada extraño conociéndolo tras 7 tomos) al conocer que Ida quiere ir a una universidad en Kioto, e Ida piensa que Aoki no le da importancia porque no estuvo atento cuando se lo contó, así que para mejorar la situación Aoki se dedica a preparar el viaje para conocer las universidades allí. Todo va de lujo, hasta el punto que Aoki se anima y decide irse allí con Ida al acabar el instituto. A Hashimoto y Akkun les va bien como pareja, incluso quedan para salir durante el festival, pero llueve y Akkun acabará conociendo (y metiendo un poco la pata de los nervios) a la familia de su novia.
Como siempre mucho amor, muchas risas y además unas historias extras al final del tomo.

Absolutely loved this volume.
Everyone's growing up, yet still at times it's evident that they're still high school kids. Just makes my heart flutter <3
Meeting Hashimoto's dad was absolutely hilarious and the humour was, like always with this series, just impeccable! I don't know what character trope/category the dad could be defined as, but I love that trope all the same. The "Ya think cookin's only for women, now do ya? HUH, DO YA, PUNK?!" with the kawaii-eyes and house husband ways just make him my idol!
There were lots of comedic elements as well as some serious drama and that good lovey-dovey stuff I crave so! It's such a good series y'all!
I also finally realized how infatuated with (read; in love with) Toyoda I am. Firstly, yeah, he's cute as hell. Second, he's such a good guy! It was one of my favourite moments in the series when he thought about Ida and Aoki's relationship: "I need to watch out for him. Or that's what I used to think. Now I no longer have to worry". I find this so beautiful and loving and now I'm tearing up once again!

Me reí mucho con las dos historias 🤭 Por un lado tenemos a Ida y Aoki viajando a Kioto para visitar una universidad y, por el otro, la cita fallida de Aida y Hashimoto que culmina con Aida conociendo a los padres de su novia.

- La parte de la hostal de Ida y Aoki estuvo muy chistosa. Primero me dan mi cliché de "solo hay una cama", luego casi me lo arrebatan por habitaciones separadas, pero finalmente deben quedarse en una misma habitación 🔥 aunque en futones separados.

This is by far my favorite manga. It is the sweetest story about finding love in an unexpected place. It’s giving me the slowest burn, so while I’m reading, I keep yelling KISS ALREADY!!!!!!! 😂

Una pequeña pelea por un malentendido hace que Aoki tome la iniciativa de organizar su viaje para conocer la escuela en Kioto a la que desea asistir Ida.
Un viaje que los acerca un poco más.

Amo que el amor entre estos dos sea tan inocente y puro.
Me gusta porque ambos están descubriendo como es enamorarte de una persona de tu mismo sexo. Pero a pesar de los prejuicios que puedan existir, ellos están dando todo de si para que funcione. Por ello es que Aoki planea llevar de viaje a Ida, para que tengan una cita lejos de todos y que también pueda perdonarlo por hacerlo enojar ( y es que ni siquiera sabe que hizo mal el muchacho jaja).
Lo único es que a veces me desespera que no haya mucho avance, aunque lo acepto porque ambos son muy lindos.
