A Stunning Look Into Espionage Today...

What an amazing up to date thriller looking into espionage today! This is my first book by this author but will definitely not be my last, and was easily enjoyed as a stand alone. You dive into the action immediately, as a young man dies of a heart attack while on the water. However this man was healthy, in good shape, and his Dad questions his 'natural' death. This father is a best friend of the current President of the United States, who asks Adam Drake to look into the death for him. And boy do things balloon from there!!
Adam is a lawyer, former Delta Force, now working for a Security company. He has excellent friends and strong characters who work well with him to do what needs to be done. A chilling plot that you can believe taking place in front of us right now, amazing scenes and a fantastic ending! I highly recommend this book to all who enjoy action adventure!!!

Once I started reading this book, I found it hard to put down. Warning, plan on allowing a great deal of time for reading because this book has so many events going all that are all important.

The story begins with the death of a wind surfer and Adam receives an unexpected call to assist a certain party at the autopsy. Adam agrees to do it, but it becomes a great deal more involved than what he expected. He is a member of a security organization that has certified a certain company was able to work on Government projects. Since the individual killed was a member of the company the security certified, question came to the forefront whether they missed something. As Adam pursued his investigation, his life became the subject of a particular group that had an interest in the company Adam was checking.

As time went by, more individuals were killed in addition to the windsurfer. The case eventually had Adam and his team go to D.C.

To discover what efforts were required in completing the inquiry satisfactorily, who requested and why Adam agreed, then you must read this book. Follow the evidence as Adam peels back the curtain. Learn what entity was responsible and why they were so interested in the specific company Adam was evaluating.

The book is a definite read. I know that I will read other stories in this series as well.

Very interesting with lots of action.

This books has a lot of things to make you think about the real life today with China. This book well make you think about what is going on in the world when a county thinks they have a right to take what they want. The book has great flow in the story line and character development, so everything fit with no gaps. All the characters have parts that fit their ability. I received this book as part of the authors advance reader group. I enjoyed the book and would say read it an enjoy. It’s well worth it.

You know when you start reading a book and can't put it down until you have finished it? Well, this is one of those books. Drake and Liz are at their best uncovering an evil plot to steal our proprietary information. Fiction comes to life in this absorbing, superbly written narrative. Run, don't walk, and get this novel into your hands so you, too, can enjoy the intense excitement brought to you by the wonderful Scott Matthews. Very Highly Recommended.

Couldn't put it down

This book had me hooked from the first chapter! I have read every book in the Adam Drake series, and always look forward to the next books release. Scott Matthews has a knack for keeping the reader engaged in the story. I especially like the references to landmarks and places in Oregon (being an Oregonian myself).
I would encourage anyone who enjoys a good mystery to read these books!
Can't wait for book #12 to come out. Great job Scott Matthews!

A wonderfully crafted story with twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat right to the last page. This book kept me entertained with its well-crafted plot and well-defined characters. Full of twists and turns it kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I couldn’t put this unpredictable novel down until the very last page.

Thank you to the author who provided me with a copy of this book. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

A fantastic thriller

What started out as a favor quickly turns into something that Drake isn't sure they can handle, but as always, he charges forward until he gets the truth and does whatever is needed to protect his country. With more complex twists and turns than anyone expected, it's going to take all of them to figure out what's happening before it's too late. A definite must read book and series!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

It has a story line and characters you want to follow and gives a good on-site into industrial espionage and the lengths people will go to , to achieve it . Once started hard to put down as the plot keeps you wanting to find out more. buy and enjoy

Up to the minute story of what our enemy is doing

Clever storyline up to the minute of what our far east enemy is doing. It is interesting to see the plots unfold, knowing before what the good guys find as they "peel the onion". Each book in this series explores a different threat in our reality.

Full of errors

A good story completely spoiled by endless errors and typos and at least 3 continuity contradictions that palpably should never have made it into print.
I lost count of the number of missing words, wrong form of words (to instead of too; there instead of they're etc etc)
The author and his team need to douch, much better

great read

I read this as a stand alone ( not realizing that it was part of a series). Great characters, and fast paced story line defiantly drew me into the series! Even if I did read the last book first!

SKYSAGE AFFAIR

This book is another hit by Scott Matthews. It’s a riveting story you can’t put down. It also opens one’s eyes to the threat China is to our nation. If you haven’t read any of Scott’s books I recommend you start.

Interesting Book- Grammatical Miscues are Distracting

I have mentioned this in past reviews. I keep reading, but seems like author is relying on AI, etc., hoping for quality! Not working. I will be moving on after this series.

Fiction or Fact (Skysage Affair)

Almost every Scott Matthews book I've read so far rings true with this one more so than the previous ones. Makes me wonder if this hasn't occurred already. Loved the book. On to book #12.

Great Storyline

America is indeed under China's influence and supply line control, so this story is so believable. If you don't believe this look at the political corruption in our Federal Government. They have become too rich and are destroying America for their own benefit. They truly put themselves first before all Americans.
