The slider on the front cover, one of six sliders and flaps, moves upward to reveal a smiling sun greeting Bear and Mouse and helping them get ready for the day's activities. The two friends rise and shine, plan their day, eat breakfast [love the toast that pops up!], put on their coats, and spend the day at the park. There are plenty of things to do there, but Bear and Mouse decide to use the teetertotter, which actually tilts the way it would in real life. Little ones will enjoy helping Bear get ready to go outside since they have to fold two flaps inward in order to put on his coat. Sharing this one alongside the other title, Bear & Mouse: Time for Bed, allows youngsters to follow the two characters through their days and nights.
