Spider The guilt I’ve felt over the loss of my wife and child left me shattered inside. I’ve been closed off for years, not letting anyone in. Finding her on the side of the highway broke down; she rocked my world. She’s self-assured and not taking shit from anyone. Who is she and where did she come from? Makayla I can’t believe my eyes when he pulls over to help me—riding a Harley with a leather cut on. I thought I left that behind me when I left the only home I had known I was raised by my dad who was a member of an MC until he died in a freak motorcycle accident. I swore I wouldn’t fall for a man in leather, but there is just something about him that calls to me.

Spider and Makayla
Spider is the Enforcer for the Bitter Roots MC and runs the club’s garage so when he sees a woman broken down along the road you know he has to stop. Makayla has lived a life with an MC and has moved away leaving that life behind her. Well, never say never because Spider might just change her mind.
I love my MC books and this is another one to add to my list with five-star ratings. I loved the connection and steam between Spider and Makayla. The drama and suspense added just another level to make this book a one sit read.

Spider and Mak are perfect for one another. I truly loved going on this wild action packed ride with them. Ms. Franks had me laughing my butt off. Sorry no give away this book was to good to let anything slip. I can't wait to see what happens next.

OMG I just knew I would love Spider's book and I was not disappointed. Spider still has pain and regret for events that were beyond his control with his wife and child. But luckily, he didn't let that stop him from pursuing Mak. There was just something about the woman he found broke down on the side on the road. She was strong and sassy with a wicked attitude and immediately drew Spider in.
Mak had some heartache of her own and had recently moved to Kentucky to try to find herself and heal. I love Mak's no nonsense attitude. While she thought she was out of the MC life she quickly realized Spider was everything she could ever want. Together, they start building something together. But, there are forces trying to hurt the club and Mak becomes a target.

This is the second book in this intriguing series and is Spider and Makayla’s journey. When Makayla is stranded at the side of the road when her car breaks down it is Spider who comes to her aid, and there is an instant attraction between them. Makayla thought that she had left the MC life behind as she grew up in that life, as her dad was a biker who died in an accident. When Makayla is in danger, Spider will do whatever they must to protect and keep her safe. This is a well written story which is sweet and intriguing with family, emotions, action, chemistry, humor, witty banter, danger, suspense, and love, which leads to an entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Hmmm.....
Wow, Ms. Anglene, writing has definitely improved. But even though this is labeled a series, and the couples do get a complete story ending, the back story is left with nasty cliffhangers. So this should be labeled as a saga. You must read these stories in order. That includes the Haunted Hills MC series. I just wish you'd partnered with a different author. I am not a fan of Vera Quinn. Ms. Quinn seems to write women as doormats. HHMC women are doormats and the men are chauvinistic. Bitter Roots MC is much better with the men treating their women with respect. I hate major cliffhangers. Even for a backstory. But I will be reading the next story. Keep writing Ms. Anglene. You're doing good in my opinion.

April 12, 20222.5⭐️ This was a new to me author and I was excited to find a new series but sadly Spider didn’t do it for me. There were lots of things that led me to this rating but the biggest was the ending.
The way the author ended it was just plain wrong. It…just…stops. This is a major pet peeve of mine. No epilogue, no notice that this is the last chapter in the book. Is there supposed to be another book with this couple?? Was this to be considered a cliffhanger? 🤷♀️

I absolutely loved this book. Spider met Makalya when she had broke down on the side of the road. Makalya at first didn’t know that Spider was in a MC and she had thought she left the MC world behind. There was an instant connection between the two that blossomed and grew they had one wild ride but they were determined. I loved catching up with the brothers. I have to admit my favorite person had to be Mrs. Franks. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Spider stop to help never imagine that both their words will change. The ladies in the club are crazy but love the club. Spider and makayla story is perfect. She’s sassy, and a mouth on her that he can’t help but put something in it … His hard in his ways but with her he will bend because love her …

This story was awesome! Spider has been closed off for years but Mak perks his interest the problem is someone is out to get revenge on the MC that Spider belongs to and Mak just became their newest obsession.
The story ended with just enough to make me go get this whole series as soon as it’s done because if you love MC stories this group is great!

Somebody watching you
Interesting goings on, how long before the MC work out who has it in for them and how many. Typically it’s their women that are paying the price. Lots of tender love scenes and plenty humour from the children.

Spider has found him a sassy, fierce, independent woman in Mak. She gives as good as she gets and definitely makes sure Spider has his hands full. Spider is a good fast paced read and between him and the rest of his family, they'll sure keep you on your toes.

Spider is easy going and all around a good guy. He meets Mak and sparks fly. These two are perfect for one another. He is all alpha and she has enough sass for the entire MC. I really liked Ms. Franks: she was my absolute favorite character. Great writing.

great mc book.
I have read both the first 2 books in this series and love them both. I can’t wait for more. They have all you could want hot steamy scenes, drama, suspense, alpha men, evil, and love. Loved it.

This story for so good and it was a slow burn MC story that the characters were able to develop and build before they jumped into a relationship. The Bitter Roots MC is in a bit of turmoil looking for a lost member but this MC is nothing but family, from the youngest to the oldest they will do anything for each other. I truly loved this story and the characters blew me away. I can't wait for more from this author to see what adventures she takes me on next.

Perfect match
Mak is a mc princess starting over the road side rescue by Spider and he is hooked. Their relationship is fast and not without trouble for Mak and the Mc. Can the MC find crane who is after them. Have to read next one to know lol
