И тази кратка историйка ми хареса, но първата книга от поредицата ми хареса повече. Може би защото там се случиха малко повече неща. Във всеки случай не беше зле, но сякаш можеше и по-добре.

I liked the mermaids, I hope future books explain the different tail colors, the power structure of underwater folk, how the connection to Davy Jones Locker exactly work, and the "gill men" in more depth. I am seriously interested in the Caribbean mermaids even though it was like 1 chapter of the entire book.

This is the second book in a new series for young readers about the teenage years of Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, when he first became a pirate and went off in search of treasure.

This book picks up shortly after volume one, The Coming Storm, left off. Young Jack Sparrow and the rest of the crew of the Barnacle -- Arabella, Jean, Tumen, and Constance -- have managed to survive an encounter with an infamous pirate, but now they have learned that the legendary Davy Jones is after th

Well, it certainly wasn't as good as the first book. :( "the siren song" has done little to move the plot forward. The crew of the barnacle, hasnt gotten much closer to their rather shady goal of finding the Sword. But! We were given a good look at Sachs of the crew members deepest wish. Yayz for a bit of character building there.

The writing is good, and jack is as arrogant as ever, but really, isn't that what makes captain jack sparrow great. :) I love when he says savy! XD I can just hear joh

I read this entire series when I was a preteen or young teenager. I LOVED each and every one of these and I waited impatiently for each new installment.
Being an avid Disney fan and the POTC ride in Disney World is my favorite, and the POTC movies were among my most-watched movies, I could not contain myself when my dad found these for me in the book store.
Although I have not read them in years, I remember them fondly and I strongly recommend them to anyone who likes pirates, tie-in novels, or ju

In this episode, Jack and his crew go off in search of the sword of Cortes. During their quest, they take on Stone Eyed Sam and are almost undone by the song of the Sirens.

Kidd does an amazing job writing Sparrow and it's exactly how you'd imagine a young Jack Sparrow to act.

This book *does* fall prey to what I call '2nd book' syndrome, where it's ok, but on it's own isn't terribly strong. It's a bridge to the third book, which I hope will be great. All in all, I imagine it will be. So far the

This book is not as good as the first book in the series. It mostly consists of the crew members being dazed by the song of the mermaids and Jack trying to get them out of their situation. There isn't a lot of movement in the book and there isn't much of a plot. It only moves the story along slightly. Hopefully the next book in the series will be better.

The second book of the Sword of Cortez series with a young Jack Sparrow (Captain Jack Sparrow). In the second book in this adventure, Jack and his crew of the Barnicle encounter Mermaids and the dangers of The Siren. Sea monsters, whirlpools, disappearing islands and more make this a fun read for all ages.

I read this installment awhile back and I can honestly say that I don't remember much about it story-wise. All I remember is my fondness for it, which is testament to its high level of enjoyment. If you liked the first book then you should definitely pick this one up in addition to the rest of the series!

This adventure paled compared to the first. I still enjoyed it, but a great majority seemed like conversational filler. The end, however, made up for the long stretch of inactivity with a great deal of creative, intriguing action.

This book is ok, you have to read the first one to understand how all the characters meet and become friends having an adventure. Read the first one and you will want to read this one. Savvy?

Another fun little Jack Sparrow story. Not quite as good as the first one, but I still think it would be fun to read more of them.

It doesn't get much deeper, and even the pace is getting slower. Well, monters and mermaids, I shouldn't complain :).
