I admit I wasn't too hopeful about this one, going into it expecting a ten minute celebrity cashing in on her moment of fame.

Instead I received an anthology of articles delving into the history of paganism, exploring it's threads through various cultures and more modern religions.

Don't expect a trite "how to" guide here. This book isn't about casting spells or reading the future. It's about a path that is often very misunderstood, dispelling myths and misconceptions while showing tolerance and openness to other paths.

Because of the mix of different authors contributing, there are at times dashes of conflicting information. However, it also means that what comes through is a very unique and personal approach to spirituality as an individual's path rather than a set of structured dogma.

Enjoyable and engaging.
