Lane Shaw and I have a unique and conventional kind of love. One that has found us inviting a third to join our bed from time to time. Our playmate is never meant to be anything more—fulfilling a purpose and leaving before sunrise the following day. It had been the rule until Shaw went and confessed that he wants more. There's just one problem. I've been keeping a secret from the man I vowed to love forever. And it's the key to why we can never be a committed triad.
Shaw Sex is more than an action; it's an intimate exchange between partners. And I can no longer continue to have meaningless sex with strangers that disappear in the morning light. I never thought the man I love would be so opposed to sharing our life with another—until a stranger lands in our bar—one vulnerable but beautiful night.
Keegan I'm no stranger to denying myself the basic needs I want in life. It's how I ended up here, alone, on the cusp of my dream job. My plans, goals, and ambitions fall apart before my very eyes, and it's then two strangers find their way into my life. I have a new wish, one that fills my lonely heart. Professional football may not be ready for an out and proud coach, but I'm willing to take a chance on the two men who I vow will one day be mine.
Leigh Lennon is mother, veteran and a wife of a cancer survivor. Originally with a degree in education, she started writing as an outlet that has led to a deep passion. She lugs her computer with her as she crafts her next story. One could say she loves pretty nails, big earrings and spiky hair. She can be found drinking coffee or wine, depending on the time of the day.
Cincinnati, Ohio. A marvelous men's ménage tale of true chemistry... My first book by this author, and I'm totally impressed. I loved the story, the sizzling sex and the formation of the trio. It's well written, intense at times, humorous and tender, also. * Lane, dominant, muscled and tan, bleached blonde hair, a voyeur, vers and Shaw's established partner, in their inclusive and accepting bar business. * Shaw is a tall, feminine man, wears make-up, lace undies, lean with short messy brown hair. Totally devoted to Lane, as his partner in life and business. He is a bottom in sexual times. * Keegan, brown hair with some gray, strong, dominant, vers, with golden eyes. He's waiting to become the head coach for a professional football team.
Shaw, submissive, would like a permanent third in his and Lanes relationship, but Lane fears it won't last. He's still carrying hurt from a failed relationship.
There is never a dull moment, with witty, sassy banter, a dominant and a sub, and no one is left out. We learn the pasts, the families and great friends, and the exes mental scars to deal with. Lane needs to find a way to separate what his ex did, and move forward with what he has now.
Three very different men, each one is dynamic and just what the other men need. They are fun, and the ménage is super hot, and we get to witness it all.
The characters are fantastic, they challenge each other, understand the other's personality, and feed off of the pleasure given to each man. Extremely scorching and varied sex, which they love, and so do we.
We also watch the tragedy unfold that rocks everyone to their cores and how they deal with it. The deep thoughts give us insight that we need. The guys are talking, and communicate well, also.
The several epilogues give us more time with our men and their lives progress and successes for our deserving men. A wonderful story ! ENJOY !
I liked the characters, Lane, Shaw and Keegan...but I got a bit tired of all the swearing. These men were all well-educated, intelligent men and I'm sure they had more of a vocabulary composed of more than just four-letter words. The story had good "bones". We have the story of these three men who are in love with each other but all needing to come to terms with turbulent pasts. One of them had the possibility of having everything to lose by just making his sexuality known, much less letting it get out that he was in a threesome relationship. Somehow, Lane, Shaw and Keegan manage to find acceptance with very little backlash, UNTIL...you knew there was going to be an "until" because up until now everything was okay, and things were going along way too well. Keegan was a football coach extraordinaire with a team in Cincinnati and had had a fantastic season winning every single game...and they were going to the BIG GAME...but then tragedy struck when Lane, was shot at the game by a homophobic fan because a reporter had taken, and the paper printed a picture of Keegan holding hands with his two guys. This is where the angst comes in that went on a bit too long and introduced a ton more characters that we really didn't need that much of and was never going to hear from again. I felt what had been a well-paced story was suddenly bogged down by all this. The three guys did eventually have a very "happy ever after", and the story got the message across that love is love and that's all that matters in the end.
5 star review My Only Wish (Love is Love #4) by Leigh Lennon This was an emotional story as Keegan, Shaw and Lane try to decide if a twosome should become a threesome in this at times emotional roller coaster. Shaw and Lane are in a relationship; they have experimented with others joining them but have now decided that they are happy to be a couple. Meeting Lane complicates matters, particularly since he has not come out as yet. Could these three come together and find happiness together? The chemistry between them all is intense and it was heart warming to watch the triad develop. Thee journey was rocky at times as they all struggled with different aspects of their relationship. I was fully invested in their story which was emotional, heartwarming and steamy. The growth that Keegan, Shaw and Lane go through to get their happily ever after was intense.
I don’t normally gravitate towards MMM but something drew me in to this book. Not my favorite in the series but still an emotional journey. I will say there is quite a lot of sexy scenes but there is a mix of emotion and heart weaved in. There was also a little angst and drama swirled in towards the end.
There is definitely a different feel for a MMM book than a normal MM story. But Ms. Lennon was able to pull you in with all the connections and details to give you a beautiful love story showing you love is love.
I’m not normally drawn to MMM romance but I love Ms Lennon’s MM romances so I decided to take a chance and boy was I glad I did because My Only Wish is a very special love story. This is Shaw, Lane and Keegan’s story and it’s a journey that touched my heart on so many levels. Shaw and Lane are in a relationship but they have dabbled with adding others but never finding the right mix they decide they are happy as a couple. But meeting Lane stirs up plenty of emotions for them all, so could they make this work, could real happiness be the three of them together….. This is a romance with all the feels, an emotional, heartfelt romance with plenty of love and passion, it has wonderful characters who are easy to love. It’s a captivating read that I highly recommend.
✨A TOP READ OF 2022✨ The love that I have for these 3 men is insurmountable! The way they are with each other is EVERYTHING! Lane and Shaw, just the 2 of them are an awesome couple.... they love hard and have fun with each other. In comes Keegan. Mr. Serious. Doesn't want a relationship because it will get in the way of his career plans of becoming the head coach. That was BEFORE Lane and Shaw got a hold him.... he brings a whole other level to the dynamic that makes it all HOT AF! It's a fantastic story, and there wasn't TOO much angst, but a whole lot of swooning!
I loved this emotionally packed story! Keegan and Shaw meet Lane, and the sparks start flying. This book had all the feels, from anger and pain to live and devotion. But can these three find a way to make things work? When the heart knows what it wants, let nothing stand in the way! Loved the supporting characters as well! And in the end, Love is Love!
Emotional, funny, tender and heart stopping moments in this 4th instalment of the Love Is Love series. It's felt like I've waited ages for this to be released and Leigh Lennon didn't disappoint, it was so good I couldn't put it down and had finished reading it in 6 hours. I look forward to reading My Only Surrender and hopefully it'll join the others on my elite bookshelf
Lane, Shaw and Keegan have a story the ages loaded with all the feels. I enjoyed how their story came together once I got over my personal mind hang up trying to keep everyone. Straight. I really enjoyed how the characters had each other’s backs once it all started to lay out. The three of them really were the perfect off-sets to one another.
This was my first MMM book and Leigh Lennon didn't disappoint. I loved how we got to see the good, the bad and the ugly that can come from a relationship. I loved watching Shawn and Lane open up to Keegan. I loved how Keegan realized life, love and happiness comes from more than your dream job but also with the love of your partner(s). I look forward to every book that I have read from Leigh.
I just love Keegan, Shaw, and Lane. Lane and Shaw are in a relationship. They have also had others join in. They decide that maybe it should just be the two of them. Lane has had a relationship with two other guys go bad in the past. Wait til you hear what happened with that. In walks Keegan, and it’s a bunch of mixed emotions. He’s still hasn’t come out yet, and Lane and Shaw just made the decision for their relationship to just be the two of them. Can these three possibly come together, and can they have a happy life together? Their chemistry from the beginning is amazing. Lane, Shaw, and Keegan go thru some ups and downs. Even when Keegan moves to another state, they try to work their relationship out. This book is a page turner and will pull at your heartstrings. Can Lane move past what happened in the past and possibly let someone else in? Can Shaw give his heart to two men? Will Keegan come out and finally be happy? All your burning questions will be answered. Just be prepared to have tissues ready because one thing that happens is definitely mind blowing and I didn’t see it coming.
Lane and Shaw are in a committed relationship, but they like to invite a third for one night only from time to time. Lately Shaw has been wanting to have a third be a permanent part of their dynamic, but Lane has no interest in going down that road again, for him it's all about Shaw and the fear that someone else could come in and change that, has him saying no. But what happens when the guy they decided to share for the night turns out to be something more to both of them? Will they embark on a journey that could make them a triad or will this be a bust and leave everyone hurt?
I really like Leigh Lennon and how she does her triad stories. This is the first time that I felt like one of her stories was a bit choppy, maybe it's just me and how I read it. The naughty bits weren't as spicy as we have gotten in previous books. What we do get, is some really cute moments, loads of drama and a tiny bit of danger. I give this 4 stars.
Shaw and Lane are extremely passionate lovers. Sometimes they bring another into their relationship, not permanently but just to spice things up, it’s normally just for one night.
They work together owning a bar.
Enter Keegan, single, would love a partner someone who he can share his life with.
He sees Lane and Shaw being intimate together, watching them is beautiful to his soul.
Can a two-person relationship flow to a three-person relationship?
Their journey isn’t an easy one, with a few heartaches, overthinking, an unexpected happening occurs which changes everything,
A traid is made up of three partners, a relationship where all three partners are romantically and sexually involved with each other.
They have stories of truth to tell before .
The men written separately and together we’re wonderfully written.
Leigh Lennon has written a beautiful story for the next installment in the Love is Love series with My Only Wish. This is a MMM read revolving around Lane and Shaw from our favorite bar in Nashville and then Keegan, a football coach for the local team. The story that follows is one that is full of learning, growing, love, hurt, anger, and family. To watch all three men grow as they develop their relationship with each other, learning to love and live without their pasts and present interfering makes for an emotional read. Plus we get to see many of our old friends from the previous books along with the loving family that each man brings to the relationship. I hope that we get to see more from this group in future stories.
Oh my, my, my. Each book I read in this series I think OMG this is my favourite couple then the next books comes and they are my favourite. I can honestly say I think Shaw, Lane and Keegan are absolutely the top of my list. This book was an incredible roller coaster of emotions with so much love, acceptance and understanding. We would all be very lucky to have a community like the one Leigh Lennon writes about. I cannot wait to read about the next couple, who I won't spoil, but you do get a little tease at the end. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book for my honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. Keegan, Shaw, and Lane's story had me firmly in its grip as this emotional and steamy romance unfolds. A complex blend of intense emotions, deep inner turmoil and weighty baggage creates a strong base for this trio's relationship to evolve and personal growth to occur. All of these characters were likable and the chemistry between them came through beautifully. Prepare to have your heart get a workout as your temperature soars. This is my frank, freely posted review.
I was a little hesitant to read this book as MMM isn't my usual go to, but I should have known Ms Lennon would write this story in a way I loved! I really couldn't put this one down! Shaw, Lane and Keegan's story is full of a wide range of emotions. While each of these men are confident in who they are they each have their own vulnerabilities and fears. The road to a happy ending was a bit bumpy, but I love the bond they established along the way!
My Only Wish is the fourth book in the A Love is Love series by Leigh Lennon. It's the story of Lane, Shaw and Keegan. The story of a twosome who might become a threesome. Can they make it work.
I really liked their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written.
I feel like there was a lot of telling and not enough showing in this one and while I love the idea and the characters the execution was kind of lacking. I just don't understand how exactly an established couple fell in love with a complete stranger in like a single day
Before I knew it they were saying I love you but still barely knew anything about each other and while I'm quite used to the couples (or triads) falling in love in record time usually they at least have believable chemistry.
I also think the final drama was a lazy way of getting them to finally have the correct conversations
This MMM romance started out as an insta-lust, and I couldn't really connect with any of the main characters at that point. Once the relationship got more serious between the three men, my feelings became more engaged, and I became more involved in their story. Keegan was an NFL coach, and he took a huge risk, professionally and emotionally, when he stepped into a polyamorous relationship with an established couple. Shaw and Lane loved each other, but they found that adding a third - usually temporarily - added something special to their sexy times. As soon as they met Keegan, Shaw and Lane felt something special for him that they weren't expecting. Shaw was ready to be completely on board, and his feelings for Keegan quickly grew. Lane had gone through heartbreak in the past due to a failed triad, and his reservations popped up several times, risking this new three-way love. Fortunately, Shaw and Keegan were incredibly patient and caring toward their man. There were some stressful and painful events here, but the bond between Keegan, Lane, and Shaw just got stronger and stronger. I grew to care a lot about them, and I was very invested in their quest for an HEA. I really liked this romance!
This was such a well written story. Each character was unique and weather it was individual, as a couple or trio each interaction was entertaining, steamy and flowed. I enjoyed the authors writing style and the heat level as well as creating a whole story that left me happy for everyone. I am volunteering to leave a review for this book. It was out of my normal genre but would definitely read more by this author
My Only Wish by Leigh Lennon is book four in the Love is Love series and looks at the characters Lane, Shaw and Keegan. Lane and Shaw are a couple that have a unique relationship, sometimes bringing a third into their relationship when the need is there. Although Shaw loves Lane, he feels that they need a more permanent third which will make them complete more fully, but he is concerned with how Lane will react. Enter Keegan, a man with a high-profile life, but who is intrigued by Lane and Shaw and what they want in a relationship, it also helps that he is instantly attracted to the two men but at times is concerned about where their relationship will lead, especially since he isn’t out in his current job.
My only wish was a heart-warming M/M/M story about finding love and it makes you stronger even if it isn’t conventional. I enjoyed the fact that we saw all characters POV and how they felt about situations and about each other. The story has a little bit of drama and angst (which was to be expected), but ultimately the story is about finding love in whatever form that looks like. There is a lot of emotion in the book, some sexy scenes and some well written characters. Overall, a really good LGBTQ+ read.
ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review. All opinions are my own. 😊
This is my first MMM book, and boy did Leigh Lennon set a high bar. I've read many of her other books, so I already know I enjoy her style. I love her series and how so many characters are in each book, so you get to see how their lives keep changing as well as the main characters of the current book. Lane and Shaw are already in a committed relationship, but occasionally another is added. Shaw wouldn't mind having a third all the time, but Lane is against it. Enter Keegan - and everything they all thought they wanted and were going to do becomes way less clear. The chemistry and feelings between the three is off the charts from the beginning. Keegan plans to become a head football coach and doesn't think he can have the family he wants and his career, but can he? There are many twists and turns in this one, and a few things I definitely did not see coming. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, watching all of the characters grow and love and love each other. Very inspirational and well written book. In the end, Love is what matters the most.
Oh my! Shaw and Lane were everything! Together they were perfect. I didn’t think that the story could get better by adding another man to their already formed romance but I was wrong. Adding in Keegan was an amazing move. It wasn’t easy for Lane but in the end it was perfect. They have their ups and down, but when all was said and done they realized they had something truly special. The attraction and connection with all of them was amazing and that made the whole pages of the story amazing. I also have to say, I’ve never read an MM book where one of the men was slightly feminine like Shaw was and I have to say I loved it! Normally I am all about the alpha men but there was something so sweet and amazing about Shaw that I couldn’t help but be drawn too. He has to be my favorite of the three men. I do the the steamy scenes weren’t so fade to black, but it was ok, we got the jest of it. It worked for the story, but that didn’t stop me from wanting to be a fly on the way and get a play by play. Simply put, I loved it! 5 stars #2OCCJD
I'm confused about the high rating for this story.
Geez. It's insta-love, so why not just buy a second bar that's a plane ride away so they can be with their brand spanking new lover?
I'm not sure why Shaw & Keegan can't understand why Lane wants to sit on a huge decision for a bit? What reasonable person wouldn't, regardless of a previous bad relationship?

The forth book in the love is love series follows an already established couple shaw and lane who run the male box as they embark on a triad relationship!
I absolutely loved this story and cannot wait to see what happens next!
Shaw and Lane are amazing together and then adding keegan to the mix brings them all together and makes them soo much stronger.
You will 100% need a box of tissues, your beverage of choice and a lot of chocolate for the last ten or so chapters because damn they through me through the emotional wringer
This story has everything you’ve come to expect from a Leigh Lennon book love, heartache, swoony moments everything
I don’t know how Leigh does it but she keeps playing with my heart strings. Lane and Shaw are everything. They’ve been through a lot and still have love to give. Lane is dealing with something personal and it’s not easy but he is trying. Enter Coach. He’s different from the beginning and both men start to fall for him. It’s a unique situation and it’s not easy going. There are rough patches but the make up scenes and all the sweet cuddly ones are the best. And than tragedy hits. Will all 3 still be together or will they go down in flames? This book seriously made me cry, laugh and want to throw my phone.
My Only Wish was a beautiful love story. It was well written, had just the right amount of drama and was full of scorching chemistry. These characters are seriously HOT.
Lane and Shaw have been a couple for years. They are deeply in love but enjoy the excitement of regularly sharing themselves with a third, on a one night basis only. For the sake of saving their relationship that agree to stop sharing, the same night Keegan walks into their lives and all plans are thrown out the window. Things are different with Keegan but he doesn’t know that.
This is the 4th book in the Love is Love Series, reads well as an inter connected standalone.
