I’ve jumped in part way through the series and relied on some reviews to help me sort through the conglomerate of characters. It’s an interesting eclectic mix. Well told.

This book was not at all what I was expecting. Gone is the old Jacinta, catty, selfish and Queen mean girl. Instead we are left with a heroine teetering on the edge of a breakdown. So much is happening to the family, she was kidnapped and is now losing all her brothers to Harlow which is understandably insane to all be occurring at the same time. Certainly doesn’t help when Hope’s PR replacement is a callous douche canoe but at the same time he really does give her a taste of her own medicine. Turns out the two also had a prior (HOT) meeting in a closet that at first makes things awkward but quickly turns to rage as he doesn’t hold back on belittling her even when she’s his boss. Not only is he added to the mix but so is a bodyguard and I’m still kinda thrown, I was only expecting her three friends to be her HEA’s but I'm certainly not opposed to her adding more. I’m kinda thrown because not only is there no brutal cliffhanger like I was expecting given the previous books, Jacinta is also a hot mess spiraling downward and suffering in silence. Hopefully when she finds her happy place she can come to grips with her new reality and adjust better with 5 men by her side.

Just keep breathing! Just keep breathing! Jacinta’s story grabs you within the 1st chapter. It does start a little bit after Harlows series ends but it picks up with a bang! Lexie has outdone herself this time with the drama, intrigue, spice, and describing scenes she is writing about. I couldn’t put down Part 1 and I cannot wait for Part 2! 10/10 would recommend for anyone wanting to be absorbed into a book for an afternoon.

I was so happy to jump back into Neighpalm Industries Collective series with Juanita story. I was hooked from the first chapter and what a way to start! I absolutely love Jace, Alex, and Shane, those boys are awesome. And we get to know Juanita better and the other men vying for her attention. I loved seeing the other characters we already know and how it picks up after Harlow’s last book a couple months later. I can’t wait to see what happens next with Juanita.

Superficial girl part one: or, alternatively, that time Jacinta decided to become a junkie.
I know realism has never been high on this series’ priority list, but who even was that MC? Sure as hell not Jacinta, with the drug trauma from a junkie mother and abuse because of it. And there is no way the new head of PR is going to do those things. Like, ever, let alone straight from the get go. Not really avoiding scandal there.
I did think she’d have the three guys for her harem, but it’s set up for two definites, and a possible sixth man. Hope’s guys are mentioned a lot, so I have to assume they have a story sometime too.
Even though Superficial Girl is its own thing, I really don’t think this works well as a jumping off point for the series. It’s hectic and full of characters and past references and you really need Harlow’s story first for this to work.
The start is definitely weirder that the end, though it ends in an odd spot. Lucky I already have book two!

Jacinta”s harem part one

Love this series by Lexie and have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment. We now get Jacintas POV, although we still get to keep abreast of what’s happening in the Summers household. We pick up shortly after the kidnapping and find she is still trying to come to terms with it and is the one out of the the three of them that is having the most issues.
There are big changes both at work and home and this causes her insecurities to reappear. She is one lucky girl tho with Jace, Alex and Shane wanting to have a relationship with her. I’m quite envious.
This book is spicy, love the scene with “Batman” at the party and her horror when she realised it was their new PR guy Cole.
Can’t wait to see where her new relationships go. It was a real surprise to see her getting extra guys for her harem. Loving all the Babi oming the Summers way, can’t wait for part two of Jacintas story.

Superficial Girl 1

Jacinta’s story quite literally blew me away! It showed me a different view of Jazzy and I truly understand why she struggled with the threat of a new addition to the Summer’s family.

But with all the changes and growth that she has enjoyed, she is still trying to find a path to her own happiness. With her own struggles comes some drastic changes to Jazzy and the way that she initially tried to deal with it is both heartbreaking and yet completely unexpected.

Join Jazzy and the men who love her as she struggles with her new relationships, changing attitudes and her realization that sometimes we need to fall before we can truly pick ourselves up.

Jacinta

Jacinta’s character is so complex and I love it. She wears many masks. The perfect daughter and sister. The perfect fashion icon. The heiress who wants the spotlight. Just to name a few you see by looks alone. On the inside she is self conscious and insecure. She struggles with Anxiety and the beginnings of addiction. The trauma and her past have really messed with her. I think Riku, Cole, Shane, Jace, and Alex will be the ones to bring out the real Jacinta. I can’t wait for more.

YESSSSSSSSSS

O.M.F.G. I have been waiting since Book 1, for Jacinta to find and have her own harem with Alex, and Shane being 2 harem members. I also like the new men for her harem I've already fallen for Jace, he's just so damn sweet. Riku is like so damned sexy, I'm with Jazzy I so want to jump him and make him mine. Ash, is just as broken as Jazzy, but I still want to kick him in the dick for what he did to Alex. Cole would be good for Jazzy, but he is such a asshole. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!

Good Book

Superficial Girl follows Jacinta as she navigates life after the events at the end of Harlow’s book as well as beginning to establish relationships of her own. I really disliked Jacinta as a character at the beginning of this series but over the course of Harlow’s books she grew on me and this book had me really feeling for her and what she’s going through. The story was good as well and it was nice seeing some of the things from previous books coming to fruition, I actually really enjoyed reading it. Overall, I would recommend giving it a read.

Geez! Way to leave a girl hanging. I was so excited to get my hands on this one. I’ve been needing Jacinta’s story… and what a heck of a story it is. I’m not going to lie, the drug use has me upset. I just feel like it’s a weakness and I’m very disappointed young lady!! Can I please have Riku? I need him, so much more of him anyway. This book was amazing and I cannot wait to see what happens next. Lexie Winston is a genius and this book is just more proof of that.

Lexie first let me say how amazing you are. This story was everything. I loved getting to see Jaci tas life through her eyes, what's shes thinking and her struggles. Her men are utterly to die for and perfect for her. I loved how you brought to light true issues plagueing so many people and didn't shy from them. And all the sneak peeks at Harlow and the guys and hottie dad .. love it. Can't wait for part 2

Lexie, you have done it again. What a way to start Jacinta's story... I love the way she is not perfect and that she's struggling with some problems that her sexy, hot, swoon worthy men will hopefully help her out of. Love the new, potential harem members and can't wait to see where Jacinta's story takes us

Not happy

I lost interest the second the drugs came in. Making her a junkie like her mother did not interest me. Compound that with her being out on her birthday without her family? That would never happen. I forced myself to continue on because I have been waiting for Alex and Shane’s story, but DNF at 34%. I have no interest in addicts when it’s a MC.

So there’s not really much more i can say about this series that I haven’t in other reviews! Jacinta’s story is just as good as Harlows, it drags you in and leaves you wanting more! For me Lexi Winston is a one click author, everything she brings out i buy and can’t get enough of and they’re also books I’ll read time and time again. This series will not disappoint!

YESSSSS

I have loved Alex, Shane, and Jace for so long and Jacinta has grown on me. This story was everything I was hoping it would be, and more! I was already excited about just Jazzy and the three guys I already knew, but the others that have been introduced are fantastic and make for an intriguing dynamic. I can’t wait to read more!

This book is one of my favourites because of how different it is compared to Harlow series. This is one of my favourite books in the whole series, you are definitely seen a different side of the family and I’m loving that. More importantly you are seeing a very open and honest version of Janica! Can’t wait for part 2

Amazing!!

I love all of the announcements made in this book! It's a great continuation of the series. I also love that we get to really dig into Jacinta's story as she tries to find her place in the world now that her brothers are all with Harlow and are concentrating on their lives.

That was like a train wreck, you just can’t look away. I’m not loving all of Jacinda’s guys, especially Cole...even the 3 that already have a relationship is usually not really my thing. Told from multiple POV. It’s cool to get a glimpse of all the other characters from the previous books. Wondering if Max and Hope will get their own books or not...

Jacinta Summers

Jacinta has grown on me and I really wanna to see her get better and win.I hope she gets the right help she needs and not get dependent on recreational things. I'm loving Alex, Shane and Jace for her. I even think Riku is a good fit but Cole hasn't gotten my vote just yet.❤❤

an amazing first book for Jacinta

I’ve really enjoyed this book, even though it’s now a different storyline from the last 6 books, I love how easy it flows, which connects all the books together
I can’t wait for the next book, and for hopes and Max’s

This is the first part of Jacinta's story and love her complexity. It shows her in a different light and I am loving it. I highly recommend this especially if you have read and enjoyed Harlow's story.

Wow

Okay so I want to point something out

Of r everyone getting mad at how Jacinta coped with everything shame on you. Everyone deals with trauma and PTSD differently. What works for one doesn't work for others

I can't wait to see how this ends

I was hoping to like this because I liked the guys in the first series. But this actually made me dislike them all! The only one I actually kinda liked was Riku. The whole thing felt cringy to me….so between that and the multiple editing issues, I’m giving it a 2*
