In the age of internet and online collaborative encyclopedias, what is the point of having a geography dictionary? Those who have to use English and master certain notions of geography will find here a practical and useful book.
Practical, this dictionary is with more than 3000 short, precise definitions that can be found easily. On the other hand, these definitions incorporate the latest bibliographic references.
Useful, this book is useful when you have to use English, because it is written only in English, and this is normal since it is intended for an English-speaking audience.
We can add the usual advantages of a book or a dictionary over the Internet: the ability to browse through, discover other notions, and especially to be read on a screen.
In short, it's a simple, effective dictionary, in a nutshell: useful.
