I actually liked this one, it’s a solid omegaverse!!
It’s pretty simple in how it’s set up, which I didn’t mind, though a few things could’ve used a bit more explanation. Nothing major, just moments where I was like “wait… okay?” but it didn’t ruin it.
I really liked the couple’s dynamic, that part worked for me. I just wish it was longer, because moved so fast, like I get that in the story it spans filming + a few months after, but reading it felt super rushed.
Still really enjoyable, just needed more time to breathe otherwise it would have gotten 5 stars.
Leo is an alpha and a second generation actor, who hates being compared to his actor father or told that his career is based solely on his connections and not his talent. Leo works hard and that hard work eventually brings him an offer to star in a film shot by a famous director. There he's paired with Eito, another second generation actor, who lives a more scandalous life. In order to strength their bond and chemistry the movie staff make the two men spend the night in a hotel room together. There Leo finds out a very big secret about Eito.
I liked this story. I thought it was a pretty good omegaverse. It has a very simple structure for how it worked. There were some things that I felt needed better clarification, but it was simple enough that it wasn't super necessary. I liked the couple's dynamic. I do feel like this should've been longer. Everything moved super fast and although within the story timeline wise it took place during the span of filming and I believe a few months after, reading it felt very fast.
Overall I did really like this and Licca has very beautiful artwork. I'd love to read more from them. I hope more of their work gets translated.
«I love you precisely because you’re proud of what you are, Eito. You’re the one I want as my pair. No one else, just you.»
Rising stars that are trying to find a name for themselves and pitting against each other for the similar situations they find themselves in. Fast paced and the way that they came to accept each other is cute. There was another couple(?) but was poorly introduced so didn't find the transition that good.
