Helping book.

The nature of ministry is service. You may be surprised to know that the word “minister” or “ministry” has its root form in Greek the term for “service” or “to serve”. Remember our Lord Himself “did not come to be served, but to serve”, Mark 10:45.

In a day of upholding a big image, it is easy to miss the value of service. We indeed suffer. As John R.W.Stott has written, we suffer “the shameful cult of human personalities.”

– Warren W.Wiersbe, Making Sense of the Ministry.
