Help toddlers explore the amazing world of colors and shapes
Colors and shapes are some of the first things toddlers learn to understand about the world, and this book makes it fun for them to get started! Each page focuses on a single color and one or two shapes, helping little ones concentrate and learn without getting overwhelmed.
My First Book of Colors and Shapes
Teach toddlers about colors and shapes, one page at a time.
I'm so happy. My 5 year old read this book by herself. I love the colors. They're so vibrant. Each page has the same shapes circle, square, rectangle, and triangle in different colors. Then there are two pictures representing each color such as yellow banana and yellow chick. At the end of the book, there are things that represent colors and shapes like white oval egg and orange construction cone as well as green Christmas tree triangle. This book is great! I love it for my toddler. I didn't have it earlier but I would love to introduce this book to her when she was younger even.
Thank you Callisto Kids for the opportunity to read and review.
I used this for storytime this morning. It wasn't a hit, but I will try it again. It made a great segue to my Little Mouse, Little Mouse flannel board. I think this would be a great book to read one on one. Shapes and colors. Good repetition of the same shapes with different colors and familiar objects (Circle, Square, Rectangle, Triangle) done in Yellow, Blue, Green, etc. Bananas, oranges, carrots, peas.
Nice quick simple book. I love this for it's simplicity. This is great for my 2 year old, has the basic shapes in basic colors and that's it nothing distracting in the background or flamboyant colors or patterns. I guess it's like simple flash cards in a book. For my toddler who prefers books over flashcards this is a perfect way to review shapes and colors.
I let my toddler take the lead on this one. She's 3 and I was very impressed with the shapes and items she recognized. This book has good repetition for concept reinforcement and great visuals. When we got to the end, my daughter was so excited and asked to read another one. Highly recommend!
Read on my phone via Kindle Unlimited. Very educational book. Read it to my son & daughter & my son kept repeating everything & naming the ones he already knew.
