This is a nice little book with many bits and pieces of London history. An enjoyable read for London enthusiasts.

Read for UK travel
I stumbled upon this book at Goodwill. It is a great collection of twelve walks around London, clearly laid out, most about two miles. Wittich points out all sorts of landmarks; buildings, walls, statues, gates, streets, memorials, bridges, and on. The anecdotes are short but interesting, and a wonderful springboard for further research.
