New girl Amy is really good at soccer and wants a lunchtime team.
Ella, Amy and Zoe form a committee to organise the Lunchtime Soccer Club.
Ella is excited and nervous and wants to be striker. Stikers often kick goals and are heroes. But they are very good at dribbling, kicking, trapping and kicking goals. Ella can’t do these skills. What is Ella good at? What position is Ella picked for?
I liked the humour. Tania liked that the story taught me about soccer. Tina liked that they had a club.

Read aloud.
