Hope Jones Clears the Air

Hope Jones hates cars - they turn the air brown and make everyone sick. Her friend Selma has asthma, and Hope's bogeys are black, not green like they should be! There's an air pollution problem where Hope lives, and she's decided to do something about it. Writing on her blog and protesting outside her school, Hope has decided to clear the air by taking on the cars. But with adults so busy thinking about their busy lives, can one child really make a difference?

A really healthy book to bring awareness. Good read. Just don't like the way hope seems so wanting instant results for everything. Don't kids need to learn the skill of waiting for the seed to grow roots and shoot?

I love Hope Jones, although sometimes she can come across as a bit annoying. Her heart is pure though, and she only wants the best for her friends, family and the world. She is on a mission to make the air clean again, so that her friend Selma can breathe more easily, and so that everyone who lives in the world can breathe fresh air. She writes on her blog all about things that people can do to stop pollution, and she protests about it, as well as telling all of her family, friends, school teachers, the council and her neighbours about it. I love how passionate Hope is and I really enjoyed this children's book, which I highly recommend.

Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
